A detailed review of the "CSM Grongi Belt Gedruud"!
Hello everyone.
I'm in charge of CSM development.
We apologize for the long wait.

"CSM Grongi Belt Gedruud"
Reservations finally open today!
We sincerely apologize for the considerable delay since our initial announcement that the product would be commercialized.
To make up for the long wait, we've put a lot of effort into the content, gimmicks, and every detail to please all Kuuga fans.
You can get a general idea of the details by reading the reservation page, but this blog will supplement the information with more detailed details that are not covered there.

Let's start by looking at the Contents.
We will go into more detail later, but this Contents for a single product.
In terms of volume, the size of the group buckle is about this big.
This sample is not the final version; it's an unpainted sample that was simply molded at the factory.
However, compared to the iPhone next to it, you can see that it's quite bulky.
This is a photo of all the Contents laid out, with an iPhone for comparison.
*The Gegelring and its auxiliary parts are transparent and difficult to see, so a black piece of paper has been placed underneath.
Each buckle in the set is quite substantial, and the Contents itself contains many items, making it a very generous product!
Now let's take a look at the details!

Let's start with this one!!
moldingThis is about that.
Now, typical NARIKIRI TOYS are"line"and"surface"It is composed of, in a senseThey often have a "mechanical" shape.
However, the design this time is for each group buckle and belt strapIrregular curvesorUneven protrusionsIt's a completely different style of design, with that making up the majority of it.
It's very organic.
It's quite biological.
Therefore, we significantly changed our design philosophy from the usual "design of NARIKIRI TOYS" and proceeded with the sculpting using an approach closer to "creating a prototype for a figure."
Our approach is to create something that is more like a living, breathing object, rather than a "machine" like a HENSHIN BELT.
Therefore, in addition to rewatching the main series, I personally examined photographs and documents from 25 years ago, as well as the props used in the show that were displayed at the Super Kuuga Exhibition, and proceeded with the figure process with a professional figure sculptor.
I was especially fortunate to be able to actually see the props at the Super Kuuga Exhibition, and in fact, there are some parts of the design that have been changed from the reference samples displayed at the Super Kuuga Exhibition.

Here is an example.
■ "Factory-molded product" on the left
This is a sample molded in the factory.
You can see that the surface is irregularly bumpy.
Incidentally, the surface is currently very shiny, but the final finish will be a semi-glossy one to give it a more luxurious feel.
■ "Displayed Reference Samples" on the right
This is a reference sample that was on display at the Kuuga exhibition.
The surface is smooth, and it gives a simpler impression compared to the "factory-molded product" on the left.

Comparing the 3D model data will make this even clearer, but the surface texture has been refined to give it an even more plant-like, biological, bumpy feel.
While there are many belts and straps for NARIKIRI TOYS, I think this kind of design is quite rare.
In this way, we have continued to make adjustments to the sculpting since the exhibition at the Super Kuuga Exhibition, striving to make it even better.
When you receive the item, we hope you will take the time to appreciate the exquisite craftsmanship.
Furthermore, it seems there are several types of props, including those used during filming and those made after the broadcast ended. However, we are striving to create designs that match the image in everyone's minds, not only for the belts but also for the buckles and rings of each group.
Please look forward to it.
Now,moldingSpeaking of which, we shouldn't forget this either.

Gegelring!!
The ring worn by the woman with the rose tattoo will also be made into a 3D model.
And the "early model" and the "late model"Both typesIncluded!
This might be the first time these characters have been made into three- NARIKIRI TOYS.
Since this ring itself is rarely shown in extreme close-up in the film, the opportunity to closely examine all four sides plus the bottom, even as a toy, is extremely rare.
Now, this is an unpainted sample, just as it was molded at the factory.
As you can see, it's molded in clear plastic and then painted with clear green paint, etc.
(The molded color is temporary and not the final version.)
Furthermore, in both the early and later versions, the pointed parts are sharpened to a degree that complies with toy safety standards, ensuring that the sharp impression is not compromised.
Furthermore, in the later version of the ring design, there is a gap between the two rings as depicted in the film.
However, we encountered strength issues during the product development process, so we adopted the "single, gapless ring" shape shown in the photo above.
We would appreciate your understanding regarding this matter.

Next, speaking of rings, this"Support parts"We must also mention this.
It's a little hard to see in the photo, but this auxiliary part will be left unpainted on the back, in its molded color, but the front will be painted gold.
Unlike the SENTAI RING or Wizard Ring, this ring doesn't allow you to change the ring part to your preferred size, but you can use this auxiliary part to adjust the inner diameter to some extent.

As shown here, those with slender fingers can further reduce the inner diameter by using the two included auxiliary parts simultaneously.
We hope you will choose the one that best suits the slenderness of your fingers.
Now, let's move on to the next topic.

Sound gimmickThis is an introduction to the following.
As you can see, the entire audio unit is contained within a black, box-shaped buckle called the "base buckle."
The gimmick is that when you insert a buckle from the group, it recognizes which group the buckle belongs to and changes the sound accordingly.
To explain in a little more detail...

As you can see, there are three holes in the center of the base buckle.
It's the part circled in red.
This is a bit of a digression, but while this base buckle appears smooth in the photo, a pattern will be added to the mass-produced version.

We are currently working on a process to incorporate these kinds of intricate, lifelike patterns into the mold.
Therefore, the base buckle itself is also planned to be improved in terms of design and overall feel, so please look forward to it.
Now, to get back to the topic...

Each group's buckle has up to three protruding pins on the back.
Can you see the two pins sticking out of the area circled in red?
This gimmick recognizes five different sounds—n, zu, me, go, and ra—individually based on the number and position of the pins, and the sound changes accordingly.
A recent example is the Z-Driver, which recognizes capsules; it's similar in concept.
The gimmick is simple, but it recognizes the five groups N, Zu, Me, Go, and Ra, and the voice and dialogue change accordingly.
So, what kind of sound will it actually produce?

We plan to include not only transformation/de-transformation sounds and explosion sounds, but also sound effects for various monsters.
I will explain later regarding the recording of lines for 11 characters,We also plan to include sound effects for the Grongi, who do not have any dialogue.is.
We hope you'll look forward to it.
and!!

"Gegeruzozajireszo"!!
That scene where the woman with the rose tattoo brings the ring close to the Grongi belt, signaling the start of the Gegeru.
It features a gimmick that allows you to recreate the "Let's begin the Gegeru!" scene!!

To illustrate with an unpainted sample, magnets are embedded in the base of both rings.
The black shadow you see inside the red frame is the magnet.
When this magnet comes close to the sensor on the base buckle, it reacts to the magnetic force and plays the sound indicating the start of the Geger, allowing you to enjoy a game just like in the show.
In the film, the ring made a sound when the tip was brought close to the belt, but due to space limitations, this product has a magnet embedded near the base of the ring.
Therefore, in order to make a sound, you will need to move the base of the ring slightly closer to the belt.
However, when the belt made a sound due to the magnetic force, it gave me an exciting "Oh!" feeling, and"Let's begin the Gegeru..."You'll also get to experience the sense of being the host of the game.
You might find yourself counting the target number in base 9, muttering "Bagging, bagging..." without even realizing it.
Please look forward to this "Gegeruzozajiresuzo" game!!

Furthermore, this time11By the cast membersGrongi language & "Linto language"Includes!
The total number of lines is approximately160seed! !
(It might not just be "lines of dialogue," but also the "laughter" of the Grongi...!!)
It is a great honor for me as the development team to have so many cast members willingly agree to record their lines, even more than 25 years after the broadcast.
As a Kuuga fan myself, I feel a great sense of responsibility, and I want to pour that feeling into the product and deliver it to all Kuuga fans.

Now, let's look at an example of the lines that will be included.
Fans of Kuuga might recognize this,
"Ban Zad?"
this is"What did you say?"That's what the Grongi language means.
I will refrain from translating all of the above Grongi language into Japanese here, as it would be impolite, but the online electronic manual will include both the Grongi language and its Japanese translation.
That is because if you watch the main story from episode 1 while understanding the Grongi language,
"They were talking about things that got pretty close to the core of the matter right from the start."
You may have felt that way before.
Similarly, while comparing the Grongi language and Japanese translation in the product's online electronic manual...
"Ah, I've heard of 'Dozoreza' before, but I didn't know it meant that."
I hope this will help you reminisce about the main Kuuga series and immerse yourself in the profound world of Kuuga.
Also, regarding the details of how much dialogue each monster has,
Woman with rose tattoo >>> others Grongi >>> Zu-Gumun-Ba
This is the kind of image we're going for.
As you may know, Zu Gumun Ba doesn't appear in many episodes.
However, conversely, the woman with the rose tattoo, who appeared in almost every episode, has had her lines recorded in abundance to cover as wide a range of dialogue as possible.
We hope you'll look forward to finding out what kind of lines are included.

Now, the next topic isBGMis.
Those of you who own CSM or NARIKIRI TOYS that play background music will know how effective that feature is, and this time too, we've included six songs that will really make the most of it.
However, some songs might not ring a bell just from their titles, so let me give you a brief introduction.
① Evil group
This is the song that played in Episode 1, "Resurrection," when N-Daguba-Zeba revived the Grongi.
The line "Jorigagese (Revive)" is also included, so you can fully enjoy NARIKIRI-playing as N-Daguba-Zeba and revive the Grongi.
② Investigation ~ Tension
This is the song that plays when the Grongi appear or when they begin their Gegeru.
For example, it was played in the middle of Episode 5, "Distance," when Zu-Ba-Zu-Ba carried the target civilian away to a high place.
This song is perfect for starting a Grongi NARIKIRI playing game.
③ Angry eyebrows ~ rampant
This is the song that plays in Episode 1, "Resurrection," when Zu Gumun Ba descends from a spiderweb he has spun in the air and attacks a police officer from the Nagano Prefectural Police.
It's perfect for looking around, uttering the line "Zabozoroza (You weaklings)" from your bass buckle, and looking down on police officers.
④ Mortar attack ~ Sword fight
This is from Episode 45, "A Formidable Foe," and it begins with the scene where Go-Gadoru-Ba pulls out the Titan Sword that was stuck in him and transforms it into his own weapon.
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say this background music was made for Lord Gadol.
You can enjoy the game even more by playing the line "Boshabu-ba (How cheeky!)" from the base buckle and overwhelming Kuuga Titan Form.
Please note that the scenes listed as examples in ① to ④ are just examples, and of course, they are shown many times in other scenes as well.
When you actually listen to this product, I think you'll say, "Ah, this is it! I've heard this before!" So please look forward to it.
So, let's move on to the next song.
⑤ EPISODE 37 The Woman with the Rose Tattoo and Ichijo's Encounter (Song)
This is the song that plays towards the end of Episode 37, "Approach," when Ichijo meets the woman with the rose tattoo who appears at the factory.
Many people probably remember that scene where the woman with the rose tattoo appears with a serene air amidst the flying sparks of slow motion.
⑥EPISODE48 Fubuki Sound
This is the same background music that was included in the CSM ARCLE ver.25th edition.
This is an essential element for the final battle between Kuuga Ultimate Form and N-Daguba-Zeba, so we will include it.
We have a total of six songs perfect for getting into NARIKIRI as a Grongi.
Stay tuned!

As further information about the product, this is approximately the length of the belt when stretched horizontally.
Because the ARCLE belt cannot be extended due to its structure, we are comparing it to the equipment belt of the "CSM変身音叉・音角 & Sound Attack Drum/Flame Drum & Sound Attack Stick/Blazing Fire".
As you can see, the base buckle is compact in width, but the length of the belt itself is still substantial.
And just like with conventional CSM, the belt length can be adjusted, so it can accommodate a wide range of waist sizes. We hope you can rest assured.

And for all you Kuuga fans, these two are the perfect items to display!
If you display the CSM ARCLE and this CSM Grongi Belt together, it will surely look like the Kurogatake Ruins.
These two items are perfect for Kuuga fans to display together.
Those who purchased the CSM ARCLE ver.25th at last year's Premium Bandai Festival will receive this product.1,000 yen OFF couponWe are distributing it.
We hope you'll take advantage of the coupon and display it in your home along with the CSM ARCLE!
We look forward to your reservation!
And there's one more thing from Kuuga.

"ARCLE Super Ancient Petrification Version"We are now accepting reservations!
The visual that Daguba presented was incredibly memorable.
Like this.

Wearing and holding up the CSM Grongi Belt makes NARIKIRI-playing as Daguba even more fun!
The Grongi Belt also includes the background music from the Grongi resurrection scene in EPISODE 1 "Grongi," allowing for a fun and unique play experience unlike any other toy, where you can play with the resurrection of evil.
Of course, it's also an important item for enjoying the first transformation play as Kuuga.
Therefore, if you own the "CSM ARCLE ver.25th," I hope you will swap the petrified ARCLE for the regular ARCLE and enjoy the "Zu-Gumun-Ba battle" together with the Grongi Belt.

The Zu-Gooma-Gu is included in the CSM Grongi Belt as is.
"Bigarag Bazebi Kuuga (Why are you Kuuga?)"
Try playing with the transformation scene from Episode 2 of Mighty Form, along with the lines from the video!

That's all for this blog post.
Both "CSM Grongi Belt Gedruud" and "ARCLE Ancient Petrification Version"
We look forward to your reservation!
