I'm in charge of developing Aura Changer -MEMORIAL EDITION-!

This time, we will be talking about the "Aura Changer -MEMORIAL EDITION-", which is currently accepting pre-orders, and some of the appeal of the product and behind-the-scenes stories about its development that we couldn't cover on the order page!

Appearance
The exterior is based on the mold of the Sentai Shokunin version of the Aura Changer released in 2017, and the newly implemented spirit button and BGM button are newly sculpted parts. Like the Sentai Shokunin version, the tip of the Aura Gatherer is made of die-cast, and the Aura Spreader is partially gold-plated.

●New Features
Next, we will explain about the newly added energy button!
When the Dairangers unleash their special moves, they fill up with energy by posing with their fists and palms together, and then release the move. In order to recreate this movement in the toy, a new energy button has been added.

This energy button is located on the back of the bracelet, so you don't press it directly with your hand, but by turning your wrist. This allows you to activate energy techniques in poses that are just like in the movie!
Another new feature is that the Aura Spreader is equipped with a motion sensor! This makes it possible to activate specific sounds in sync with arm movements. This feature is a perfect match for the dynamic transformation and attack actions of the Dairanger, so we decided to implement it!

And finally, as a new feature that we couldn't mention on the order page, we've added a full-color LED to the center of the Aura Spreader's breath! This allows for lighting effects that match character selection and attack sounds.

●Mode selection
This time, a mode selection function has been added so that you can activate your favorite character's introduction and sound effects. When you turn on the power, you can select a character by pressing the BGM button, and the roar of a legendary beast corresponding to that character will be played, and the full-color LED in the center will light up in a color that matches the character.

Transformation
This Memorial Edition includes several memorable transformation sounds from the movie, allowing for a variety of transformation play.
First, there's the normal transformation sound. Just like in the movie, this sound will play when you insert the tip of the Aura Gatherer into the Aura Spreader! It's also possible to activate the sound of a sharp arm swing, the sound of the key part of the Aura Gatherer deploying, and the subsequent arm swing sound of the left and right breaths being held vertically. A new motion sensor function can recognize the transformation action and activate this sound. This is the preparatory action before transformation, but we recorded it because it's such an impressive sound. (We weren't able to implement an automatic Aura Gatherer deployment system...sorry...)
I think that the Dairanger transformation is one transformation, including the transformation action that begins with "Kiriki Tenshin!", so I hope you will experience a more NARIKIRI experience playing with Kiriki Tenshin!
The normal transformation alone is enough to get you through the transformation, but for those who aren't satisfied with that, other sounds have also been recorded. First up is the jump transformation sound! In the movie, this is the sound that plays when a simple transformation omits the transformation action, when someone transforms alone, or when someone literally transforms while jumping. There are beautiful sparkling sounds in the second half, and the transformation scene from diagonally below is very impressive!
Next up is the dash transformation sound! This is also a simplified transformation that omits the actual transformation action, and the sound is inspired by the scene in the show where they transform while running. It is based on the sound from the scene in episode 19 where Shoji and Tomo transform while running. This transformation sound is activated by a reaction from the motion sensor, so just like in the show, you can transform without using aura gather!

And one more thing! The transformation sound using the Tenpo Rairai Jewel is also included. This is the transformation scene from episode 22, "The Tiger's Cub's Great Secret Technique!!", an important episode in which Won Tiger and Kameo make their first appearance. In this scene, the members transform by holding up the Tenpo Rairai Jewel they are holding in order to awaken Kou's Kidenjuu. Just like the dash transformation sound, you can transform by moving your arm using the motion sensor. If you have a Tenpo Rairai Jewel or have a round object on hand, be sure to have fun recreating the action from the movie! (In the movie, the transformation is done by raising the right hand, but due to the motion sensor, the sound is activated by moving the left arm.)
​The first transformation sound from episode 1 is also included! The latter half of this sound is slightly different from the normal transformation sound. It also includes the sound of Ryo, who is tied up by Baron Hibi, pointing his brace forward just before transforming. (This is the sound at the beginning of the product introduction PV!)

And... when talking about Dairanger, one thing that can't be left out is the five members' introductions! Some people probably have the image of "Dairanger = Sentai with cool (and inimitable) introductions." I think Daigo's sharp pose with both hands thrust forward from his waist and Tomo's drunken fist-like introduction action are very cool and impressive.
​The sound effects for the introductions are also included in this -MEMORIAL EDITION-! When you turn on the power, the introduction sound will play depending on the character you selected. Even among the Sentai, the Dairangers have some of the most difficult introductions, but we hope you'll memorize the movements and perfectly recreate the transformation and introductions! We hope you'll be able to transform with your own energy!

● Spiritual skill play
Next, we'll explain how to play with energy. This time, various energy techniques can be activated with the newly added energy button! When the energy button is pressed with the action of holding a fist in front of you, a special move corresponding to each character will be activated. We've recorded one representative special move for each character. We've also recorded the attack sound of the energy bomber as a combined special move!

It also features a "Strike Mode" that uses the motion sensor! The motion sensor on the Aura Spreader side activates a strike sound in time with the arm thrust action. Since electronic components could not be placed on the Aura Gatherer side, only the left arm reacts, but you can still enjoy the action play that is typical of Dairanger.
Furthermore, by selecting Ryuranger in this striking mode and pressing the energy button while attacking, you can activate the special move "Heavenly Fire's Secret Technique: Meteor Flash"! This allows you to enjoy recreating the "Final Fist Dada!" from episode 27, so we hope you'll pick it up and give it a try.

●BGM
Dairanger has a lot of impressive background music, so it was extremely difficult to decide which songs to include... There are limits to the songs that can be included due to audio capacity and cost balance considerations, but Dairanger had so many songs that were absolutely necessary that we ended up recording four types of impressive background music.

I think that all the songs, including the opening theme, are essential sounds for the introductions and special move scenes, so I would be happy if you could play the game while listening to the background music.
While we're on the topic of background music, we've also implemented a transformation game with background music! The game will automatically play the memorable background music from the movie when the characters introduce themselves. What's more, the introduction audio will play in succession, starting with each of the five characters' individual introductions and then the part where all five of them introduce themselves, starting with "Shining in the heavens..."!

Following the Sentai Shokunin version in 2017, we are very happy and excited to be able to commercialize it again as part of the -MEMORIAL EDITION- series!
