The other day, the audio program for "CSM Amazons Driver ver. Alpha" was finally completed!



Since the IC capacity was at 99.7% utilization, we held out until the very last moment to add audio.
There were some audio pieces that we weren't sure whether we would be able to include, so we weren't able to introduce them during the pre-order period, but we've now managed to compile the additional audio, so we'd like to introduce it to you today.

The addition of dialogue and background music is as per previous blog posts and the reservation page.
However, until now, there has been no mention of whether there will be any additions or changes to the "system sounds."
This is an additional information regarding that point.

●Includes the version from Season 2, Episode 7 with the catchphrase "Amazon."
When the sound effect button was pressed briefly in the "pre-transformation state," the sounds "Belt fastening sound" ⇒ "Amazon." were played alternately in that order, and the line "Amazon." also had multiple variations in how it was said.
The previous product had four variations, but this time we have added the Season 2 Episode 7 version, bringing the total to five.

●Added "Season 2 Episode 13 ver." to the transformation sound variations in "Dialogue Mode"!
Variations in the transformation sounds can be selected by pressing the dialogue button and the sound effect button simultaneously.
This time, we have added "Season 2 Episode 13 version" to the options, making it more specific to Takayama Jin.
That said, the transformation sound itself is just an explosion sound, and is no different from the "Season 1 Episode 13 version" included in the previous work.
When written down, the scream "Aaaahhhh!" sounds no different from the version in Season 1, Episode 13, but we decided to add an additional audio recording that combines screams with different emotions, which we recorded separately.

●A version with dialogue has been added to the Amazon Blade's attack sounds and special move sounds!
In the previous Amazon's Driver game, only Omega's voice was heard for weapon-related attack sounds, even in dialogue mode. However, this time around, Jin's voice is included only for the attack and special move sounds of the Amazon Blade, which Alpha also uses in the game.
You can enjoy this by launching it in dialogue mode.
I actually wanted to add voiceovers for other weapons as well, but due to space limitations I limited it to only those used in the film.

●Includes Neo Alpha's heart-piercing sound!
In the previous game, when you pressed and held the sound effect button after transforming, two types of sounds were played: a "special strike sound" and a "heart-destroying sound." This time, we've added a "heart-piercing attack sound when defeating Amazon Neo Alpha."
The audio is over 30 seconds long and very graphic.

What's more, while this sound is playing, you can overlay lines using the dialogue button, allowing you to recreate scenes from the movie by timing it just right, like, "I told you... you... smell like the Amazon... This is... Takayama-san!"

Have another child attach the included Militant Amazons Register and have fun role-playing!

●The "click sound" can now be played simultaneously during the transformation standby sound!
This may seem like a very trivial thing, but in the previous CSM Amazons Driver, even if you turned the lever while the "transformation standby sound" was playing, the "click" sound effect did not play.
This is not a deficiency, and there is a good reason for it.

CSM basically uses an IC that can play up to three different sounds in parallel.
In the previous version, the channel assignment for these sound effects was as follows:

Channel 1: For lines like "click" and "Amazon!"
Channel 2: For "transformation standby sound"
Ch3: For "BGM"

By dividing the channels in this way, it is possible to play background music while also playing the transformation standby sound, and then have the actor's voice saying "Amazon!" play at the same time as the transformation.

However, in the above example, because the "click" sound and the lines are on the same channel, if Yu were to turn the grip to transform while screaming "Woooohooo! Amazon!", the scream would be overwritten by the "click" sound and interrupted.
Because Yu's scream is particularly long and prone to causing the interruptions mentioned above, we have programmed it so that the dialogue takes priority and the clicking sound is not played during the transformation standby sound.

However, this time, Yu's voice is not included.
Jin's voice only ends in an instant, saying "Amazon." Even if you press the dialogue button to play this sound, if you then move your left hand to turn the grip immediately afterwards, the "Amazon." voice will have already stopped ringing, and there is no longer any concern that it will be drowned out by the "click" sound.
Therefore, we have decided to revive the "click" sound that is heard during the transformation standby sound for this product.
Jin's "Amazon." also has longer variations, but there was no scene in the movie where he shouts it when the "transformation standby sound" is playing, so I thought it would work!

Those are the five newly added voices!
