Yggdrasil Set audio specifications and package design
Hello everyone. This is Funasen, the CSM representative.
Today's article is not about OOO, but about the "CSM Lockseed Yggdrasil Set."
The package design is now complete, so we'd like to introduce it to you. Here's the front!
Duke VS Savior. The design depicts the confrontation between Ryoma and Kukai.
And here's the back side!
Kurokage is in the center, with two enemy riders standing behind him.
This time, the product is a collection of Lockseeds that are closely related to the Yggdrasil Corporation, but in terms of the relationships between the characters, it is also a collection of quite disparate people with little connection to each other.
I've always tried to create a design that has a poster feel, but this time the only combination that could express the relationship was Duke and Savior, so I put that on the cover and on the back I had a group design of the other three.
I can't imagine another story in which Kurokage faces off against Mushin Gaim and Idun.
The new logo, "BANDAI NAMCO," is on the top right of the front side. This is a new logo that will appear on all of our group's products from April 2022 onwards.
They will be included in products released after April. (This also applies to DX.) They are not included with the Ride Booker in CSM, but they will be included with products released after this Lockseed set.
We will also introduce the special specifications for each Lockseed.
Pine cone lock seed
A unique feature of the CSM Lockseed series is that when you press the button on the back, the character's voice will play saying "Transform!", and if you immediately place it on your belt, the sound of that character's special move will also include that character's voice.
The Matsubokuri contains the "Transform!" voices of both Hatsuse-chan and Jonouchi, and depending on which one you play and set, the voice of the special move will also branch off into Hatsuse-chan or Jonouchi.
If you are wearing the Kurokage Trooper faceplate, you can set the Lockseed's voice to Jounouchi when transforming, allowing for even greater voice reproduction.
By the way, the voice for "Transform!" is,
●Forbidden Ringo Lockseed: This includes Kaito's "Transform!" and his special move cry. Shugetsu Touka's lines are not included in SENGOKU DRIVER itself, so the only Ringo with lines is Baron.
●Lemon Lockseed: Ryoma's lines were recorded from the sound source data that BANDAI has, but there is no data for the "Transform!" line. So, the line he uses when pressing the button is a loud laughter.
If you play the loud laughter and set it on SENGOKU DRIVER, the sound of the special move will change to one that includes a shout.
(By the way, I often hear people say that it would be better to extract the audio from the program footage and insert it, but this is incredibly difficult due to various issues, including copyright issues, so it is limited to new recordings or audio that was previously recorded by BANDAI. Ankh Voice's "Hawk, Peacock, Condor" was only possible under extremely special conditions.)
●Blood Orange Lockseed: Bushin Gaim is in a transformed state from the beginning (or maybe it only exists in its transformed state?), so there is no line in the movie saying "Transform!", so the line played by the button is a certain line from the movie.
●Pomegranate Lockseed:
Regarding Savior's transformation sound, did you notice that the sound from the Pomegranate Lockseed in the movie doesn't have a melody?
In the DX version, the transformation sound begins with an eerie, chanting-like voice and the line, "Blood Pomegranate Arms," but in the video there is no melody, only a voice is heard, and halfway through, the Blood Orange transformation sound is overlapped.
This transformation sound without a melody was recorded this time in the form of "in-movie mode."
When transforming into Savior, switch to this mode and set the blood orange together to transform.
In normal mode and Helheim mode, the transformation sound has the same melody as DX.
When playing with Zakuro alone, the transformation sound would be pretty bland without this melody, so we included a melody for all modes other than the one in the movie.
Sunflower Lockseed:
Sunflowers are Lockseeds that cannot be transformed, so when they are set on the belt and cut, a "nutritional replenishing sound" is played.
Also, the mode is different from other Lockseeds.
① Invest Game Mode
② Limiter cut mode
③ Nutritional supplementation mode .
① is almost the same as the previous Lockseed Inves game modes, but the sounds that are played by the buttons are
In addition to the "battle start" and "game end" sounds,
・Game stage appearance sound
・Inves attack sound
- Added a sound when the Lockseed is stolen when YOU LOSE.
② is a mode that removes game-related sounds such as battle start from the button audio and only includes the attack sounds of the Inves.
③ is designed to be set on SENGOKU DRIVER, so the sound of Inves' appearance will not play after the unlocking sound. There will be no sound when you press the button.
This concludes the detailed introduction of the Yggdrasil set.
That's all for today's blog. The next update will be on Tuesday, March 29th.
Well then!
