MASKED RIDER KIVA

New gameplay videos and packaging for KIVAT BELT & Tatsurot have been released!

Hello everyone. It's Reiwa 2. This is Funasen.

The deadline for pre-ordering the "CSM KIVAT BELT" and "CSM Tatsurot" is next week, Monday, February 3rd!
Today we will be releasing new videos on how to play with these two products.
The PV released when pre-orders began was a stylish one, as it was to be shown at the "THE HENSHIN" event, but this time it is a PV that shows the toy as it is and focuses on how to play with it, like the usual PVs released at CSM.
The form changes and radio communication are depicted in more detail.
Please take a look!

The conversation between Kivat and Tatsurot, conducted via radio transmission, contains over 120 lines!
Press one of the dialogue buttons to start a specific line, and then you can enjoy watching the conversation unfold automatically.
When you see this unfolding in front of you, it feels almost alive and it's a lot of fun!
At the moment, we can only show you the performance through a PV, but I think the impression you get from seeing it through a video will be quite different from seeing it happen right in front of you.

In addition, today we will also introduce the package images of these two products!!

Let's start with the front of KIVAT BELT packaging!

As usual, it is a face-up design. The fangs stand out in the dark, so they go well with the CSM series packaging, which has a black background.

Next up is the back side!

With all four forms on display, the design is almost like a poster.
The design, which features the moon and rose petals and is full of Kiba's unique style, is super cool!

Check out the Tatsurot package here!

A close-up of Emperor Form, the most handsome man of all time!
Personally, I like the design of the Emperor Form as it is one of the strongest Rider forms out of all the many available.
The package size is slightly smaller than KIVAT BELT, so the back side is entirely marked with warning labels.

The design is as shown here, but CSM packaging is characterized by a matte texture with glossy parts.
This time I tried to make a design using that printing technique.

The chains that appear in the four corners of the screen at the end of each episode of the Kiva main story are placed on the glossy finish!
It may be a little hard to see in the photo, but there is a chain design on all four corners of the package.
It has been processed to give it a fang-like appearance.

And these chains aren't just at the four corners.
Here is a photo of the whole thing taken from above.

The chain design connects all five sides of the box, as if the entire box was wrapped in chains!
(There is no chain on the bottom as it has a warning label.)

If you place the packages of the two products side by side, you can see the difference in size.

Today, I'd like to share some more details about Tatsurot's specifications that I wasn't able to share last week.

●About the special move activation sequence
The special move sounds have different activation flows depending on the move, allowing you to recreate the action scenes in the show.
What I mean is,

1. Wake Up Fever: Just like in the movie, Tatsurot will remain attached to your arm and the special move sound will be activated immediately after Tatsurot's line.

2. Garuru Fever, Basher Fever, Dogga Fever: In the movie, these abilities would detach from Tatsurot's arm and attach to each weapon, activating these abilities.
To recreate this, once lines such as "Garuru Fever" are played, no further sound will be played.
After that, you can voluntarily remove Tatsurot from the bracelet and press one of the dialogue buttons to activate the next special move sound.
(There are no weapons to which it can be attached... *Of course, it cannot be attached to DX weapons.)
However, since there are no weapons that can be attached, you can still activate the next special move sound by pressing either dialogue button even while the bracelet is attached, so it is not difficult to play.
However, one thing that differentiates it is that when you remove it from the base and press the dialogue button, the same "weapon attachment sound effect" as in the movie will be played just before the special move sound is played.

Finally, applications for BANDAI TOYS SHOP's limited-time lottery sale will be accepted until 11pm this Friday, January 31st, so don't miss out!
This is your chance to get "CSM ARCLE", "CSM BLAYBACKLE & Bray Rouser & Rouse Absorber", and more.
There is also a DX series that was previously sold by PREMIUM BANDAI.

That's all for today's blog.
The next update will be on Monday, February 3rd.

See you next time.
