CSM OOO DRIVER 's Ultimate Points Episode 7: Eiji, Ankh, and Haa, Seiya!
Recently, Funasen has been doing things in the spirit of being Hina-chan's friend.
In today's blog, we will be explaining in detail about OOO DRIVER 's voice gimmick, the "Buddy Voice Mode"! (In last week's preview, we also mentioned the "Ankh Navigate Mode", but sorry, we will have to wait until next week for that.)
first, "Audio that can be played by briefly pressing the dialogue button" But, lo and behold, so far 87 species When you press the button briefly, famous lines from the movie will be played in order.
I have picked out some memorable lines from the TV and movie versions, based on my own personal opinion.
Moreover, each one is quite long. Furthermore, there are many that contain a conversation between two people within one sound. (There are about 16 types.)
Moreover, some of the lines have impressive sound effects before and after them, so they are not just lines, but scenes! (For example, in the final episode, after Ankh throws his last medal to Eiji, he turns into a Cell medal and crumbles.)
And the lines are not limited to the 87 mentioned above.
There are many "sounds that are played by pressing and holding the dialogue button". The dialogue that is played by pressing and holding the button is a compilation of dialogue that has been sublimated from the exchange between Eiji and Ankh's medals. There are 16 kinds! Each time you press this, it will be played randomly.
Some of the things they have are Ankh's "Eiji, it's Yami, come here!", "That presence is Uva," and "That presence is Kazari."
Additionally, Eiji can be heard demanding "Ankh, get your medal!", followed by the sound of Ankh throwing the medal and saying "Take it!", and then Eiji can be heard accepting it while saying "Thanks!" and "Huh? This? Oh well."
There is also a line (six in total) in which Eiji asks Ankh for a medal, which goes like this: "Ankh, Tatoba's medal!" -> "Take it!" -> "Sound of a medal being thrown", and there are six combos included.
The six combos are "Tatoba," "Gatakiriba," "Ratorata," "Sagozo," "Tajadol," and "Shauta," and are limited to the types of medals exchanged between Ankh and Eiji in the movie.
Putotyra and other monsters do not have an ankh, so they are excluded, but instead there is a sound effect where a Putotyra medal pops out of the monster's body and you hear the sound of it being caught. When you hear this sound, you can put the Putotyra medal in! This sound effect is also memorable, so we included it.
There is quite a lot of dialogue, but the true value of the "Buddy Voice Mode" is when transforming or using special moves!
First, after each transformation sound, Eiji's lines are played! OOO didn't have a catchphrase, but after transforming, Eiji would say various things like "Ha!", "Haaa!", and "Uoooooooooo!". We've assigned a few of these lines to each combo, and they play randomly.
Furthermore, speaking of OOO's special move, it's Eiji's "Haaaa, Sayer!"
Each type of combo has its own unique special move sound, and in "Buddy Voice Mode" all of those special move sounds have the added sound "Haaaa, Sayerrrrrr!"
The special move sound of Gatakiriba is the most interesting sound with multiple sounds. By the way, the special move sound of Gatakiriba will be significantly upgraded from the gameplay video currently available, so please look forward to it!
By the way, in the case of "Tajadol Combo" transformed with a medal made by Foundation X, the special move sound is different from that of normal Tajadol and is the "Heisei Generation FINAL" version!
Immediately after scanning and charging in "Buddy Voice Mode," Eiji's voice says, "I can reach out with these hands, to protect the world!", and then the special move sound starts, so the reproduction of the scene in the movie is amazing! (And because he's fighting a Guardian, there's no medal jingling sound in the explosion sound! We put a lot of effort into making it.)
This is part of my goal to create an "emotional HENSHIN BELT."
That's all for today's update, brought to you by Funasen, who has been doing things recently as if they were Hina-chan's friends. (It's important, so I said it twice.)
Since Monday next week is a holiday, the update will be on the following Tuesday, the 13th.
See you next week!
