Today, before we give you information about the CSM SENGOKU DRIVER, we'd like to introduce you to the new Saber products that were announced last week.
"DX Flame Sword Rekka Sound Update Edition"!



First of all, I would like to inform you about the sales format. We are currently conducting an "advance lottery sale," and applications must be submitted by November 11th.
If you are selected, your item will be shipped at the end of November.
After that, it will be sold through PREMIUM BANDAI pre-orders, and will be made to order.
This item is scheduled to be delivered in March 2021.

The specifications of this product may be a little difficult to understand,
In a nutshell, it is a memorial item that you can enjoy during the program's broadcast period with real-time data updates!
This item includes character voices so you can enjoy it "now, while the program is airing," and "every week," rather than six months after the program ends.
Character voices for Touma and the others will be added through data updates, allowing you to enjoy playing with the voices as they feature memorable lines and special move names.

As with the "Memorial Progrise Key Set" that we are currently making, products that have been labeled as "Memorial Items" up until now have begun production after all episodes of the program have finished, so delivery will take approximately five months from then.
However, because the audio data for this product is added after the weekly broadcast of "KAMEN RIDER SABER" ends, you can enjoy an unprecedented time-link type of play in which the special move you performed today will be reproduced in audio form in the toy you have at hand!
During the broadcast period of the program, it will be updated weekly until the final episode.

Saber's special moves have their own unique names, such as "Flame Cross Slash!"
Touma shouts it every time, and there are already about seven different sounds, so they all come from this sword.
Just like in the movie, the names of each unique special move are played by "Reading Through the Book" while transformed into the form that can use that move.
Not only Tobu Makoto's voice, but also Rintaro and Kento's voices are heard, so if you already have an Emblem Wonder Ride Book, you can enjoy the game even more.

It is made under a very time-consuming system in which the voice-over for the toys is also recorded during each main story dubbing, and updates are created and distributed every week.
The price of this product includes the SD card as well as the costs of dozens of future updates.

I have seen some opinions that it would be better to just add an update gimmick to the original DX SEIKEN SWORDRIVER, but if we did that, HENSHIN BELT sold in general stores, which is the one that is most widely distributed, would cost over 10,000 yen. That would be extremely difficult.
This is simply a separate product for those who purchase traditional memorial items, and the sales method, content, and purpose are exactly the same as those of previous memorial items.
However, the timing of the release will be different from previous products, as it will be released during the broadcast period rather than after it has ended, allowing players to play for a longer period of time in real time, which has been planned with the positive purpose of this product.
The sword that comes with the DX SEIKEN SWORDRIVER may look inferior, but that is only because it is being released earlier; the true value of the product remains the same as the relationship between the "Rising Hopper Key with Zero-One Driver" and the "Memorial Edition Rising Hopper Key."

If they hadn't tried this, I think they would have just released the Sword Driver (the sword part) with the new sound specifications six months after the broadcast ended, just as they had done in the past.
HENSHIN BELT from the previous two works had the transformation sounds included in the collection items, so this type of updating method was not possible.
This is a unique Saber initiative, with all of the transformation and special move sounds packed into the sword.

Although it will be a second sword, I think it would be nice to display it together with the Water Force Sword with the Flowing Water Emblem and the Thunder Sword with the Yellow Thunder Sword as another holy sword. You can also enjoy playing with two swords.
The heavily painted version of the "Flame Sword Fiery Emblem" has metallic red paint on the left and right sides, and is made to resemble the prop after the sword has been unsheathed.
(The emblem before the sword is unsheathed is clear, so it is the same as the Sword Driver currently on sale.)



This is the first data-updating item for a Rider product, but the technology has previously been used in our "Yo-kai Watch" products.
Because of the existence of such a precedent, it is easy to misunderstand, but this product does not "increase the number of medals that can be read" as in the previous product.
There are no "Wonder Ride Books" that can only be read with this product.
Please note that no new transformation sounds will be added.
"DX SEIKEN SWORDRIVER" is designed to be played in its entirety by itself.

As this is a new attempt at real-time updates, we will first produce a limited number of items and then hold a lottery sale to ensure that they arrive quickly.
After the lottery, the product will be sold as a regular pre-order, with deliveries expected in March, so if you want to enjoy real-time play sooner and for longer, be sure to apply for this lottery sale!


Now, I would like to talk about information about the CSM SENGOKU DRIVER. While looking at social media, I saw that there were a few things that people didn't understand about the product, so today I would like to answer some of those questions.
I feel like there were a lot of questions about the Genesis Core in particular. The SENGOKU DRIVER is different from the previous CSM items that are self-contained items, but is a product of the Heisei 2nd period items that span multiple products, and it is a product group that assumes a link with the future, which is confusing.
For this reason, we intended to show the depth of the product by previewing the upcoming Lockseeds on the "Gaim Festival" page, but there are some things we weren't able to make clear, so we'd like to mention them here.



Q. This comes with a Genesis Core, but are there plans to release a "CSM Genesis Driver" or "Energy Lockseed"?
A. Of course! (I said it.) As CSM Project Ark progresses, we are naturally looking towards the Genesis Driver. It's still a while away, though.
It has already been decided which Lockseed set or Genesis Driver the Energy Lockseed will be attached to, depending on the type. Please wait for the details of each product to be released.

Q. What does it mean that the Genesis Core is "exclusive to SENGOKU DRIVER"?
A. The Genesis Core that comes with this product has a different shape than the one set in the center of the Genesis Driver.
This is also to reproduce the shape of the prop for the Jimbar attached to SENGOKU DRIVER. Therefore, it cannot be set on the Genesis Driver.



Additionally, by eliminating the link with the Genesis Driver, we were able to change the internal structure.
When you set a Lockseed into this Genesis Core and lock on, a pin will pop out of the Genesis Core and press a detection switch on SENGOKU DRIVER main body, playing the "lock-on sound effect."
This is also a feature that would not have been possible if compatibility with the Genesis driver had been maintained.
For these reasons, we have labelled it "For SENGOKU DRIVER Only".

Q. Will the Genesis Core be included in future Lockseed sets?
A. No. There are many riders who use the Genesis Core, including those in the novel version, so if you add them to each Lockseed set released based on the character concept, there will be duplications, and if you only add them to one rider, there will be characters that you cannot use when you buy only the Lockseeds of other riders. This is also the case for the silver tier.
Therefore, we have concentrated all the items in SENGOKU DRIVER as a "starter set," and you can use this as a base to branch out to any Lockseed.
As for the Project Ark Edition, it is intended more as an easy-to-buy minimum set for multiple purchases rather than as a core item for derivatives, so we did not give it a Genesis score.
Of course, when the CSM Genesis Driver is commercialized, it will have the Genesis core in the center!

Q. In the CSM version, can the Blood Orange Lockseed's cast pad, which was in KAMEN RIDER Savior's transformation scene, be automatically deployed?
A: No, this is seriously impossible!!!
If this were to be possible, it would be physically impossible unless the internal circuit board and battery on the Lockseed side were completely removed, making it so that it would no longer light up or make any sounds, and would also destroy part of its shape.
Please think of it as being as difficult as reproducing CG effects. You can't defy the laws of physics.
