The lineup was announced last year, but this is a concept product that comes with a set of Lockseeds and faceplates related to the three members of Team Baron, Kaito, Zack, and Peko.

The three standard Lockseeds included are Banana, Mango, and Walnut.
Baron has also used the Forbidden Apple in the past, but that will be released as part of a set that includes Idun's faceplate.



The audio specifications for these three types are basically the same as those of Orange.
It has various modes, but the banana has a "first transformation mode"!
"Banana?! Bana! Banana??" ⇒ Transformation with the voice "It's Baron!!"

Of the three types of faceplates, the "Black Baron/Proto Baron" is a completely new plate that was not even available in the DX version.
The design is the same for Black Baron from Gaim Gaiden and Proto Baron from the stage version of Zangetsu, so one card can be used for both.
The sound of the plate being attached is a reproduction of that of the Black Baron.
Knuckle's faceplate has a plain design, just like the "Kurokage Trooper Faceplate" that comes with the "CSM SENGOKU DRIVER Project Arc Edition", but for ease of identification, "KNUCKLE" and "KUROKAGE TROOPER" are engraved on the back.


With this product, the specifications of the CSM version of the Energy Lockseed are revealed for the first time!!



*The color looks a little dark in this image, but it is a prototype that is painted on a resin development sample called "photopolymerization," which is printed out when checking the appearance at the design stage, so it is a little less transparent. (Photopolymerization is as shown below.)



However, please be aware that the final product will be made from plastic cast using a mould, so will be more transparent than this.​
(We are currently creating the mold, and it is not yet ready to be molded.)


We understand that preferences differ depending on whether the design is based on a suit prop or an actor prop, but just like SENGOKU DRIVER, the Energy Lockseed is unified in its design to be based on a "suit prop."

In terms of appearance, the protrusion for the screw that was on the upper left is gone, there is a cover on the back of the hanger part to hide the cutout, and the glitter is gone.
The jagged ribs inside the hanger remain, but this is necessary to ensure its strength and prevent it from breaking if dropped.
There are many things to consider, but the thing I wanted to do most with this design change was to remove the locking protrusions that are visible when the fruit section is opened.



The DX version has a locking mechanism on the fruit pulp sticker to keep the lid closed, and it is an easy-to-understand mechanism that is typical of a toy.
(I don't think this is a bad thing. By using this mechanism, there are no parts in the line of the LED, so the light emission is very visible.)
As you can see in the transformation scenes, starting with episode 14, the "actor props" also have the same protrusions as the DX ones.
However, since it was obviously too much of a toy, I thought it wouldn't be suitable for CSM, which requires high quality appearance.

Naturally, the suit prop after transformation does not have these protrusions and looks beautiful, so I wanted to recreate this and chose to recreate the "suit prop."
By making some fairly significant changes to the internal mechanism, we were able to move the locking mechanism to the outside on the left and right sides.
One slight drawback is that some parts overlap the LED line slightly, creating a small shadow directly next to the light source, but since the internal parts are also transparent, the light itself is not completely blocked.
Since the design of the item has already been decided, there is only so much we can do, which makes it quite difficult, but we arranged the parts so that they would look as good as possible.

This "removal of the locking protrusions" applies to all remaining Energy Lockseeds that are planned for commercialization in the future!
Melon and lemon were particularly difficult, but we were able to get a beautiful circular seal without any locking protrusions inside the fruit pulp seal.
(The design of these has already been completed along with that of the Marron and Pine Cone. It would be bad if we later found out that the others could not be done, so we designed them together first.)


Another evolution of the Energy Lockseed is the addition of a button for the sound that plays when the transformation is released!



Regular Lockseeds have a switch that detects whether the cast pad is open or closed, which makes a sound to deactivate the transformation when the pad is closed. However, with Energy Lockseeds, it was extremely difficult to recreate the gimmick depicted in the movie, where the transformation is deactivated when the open fruit is closed.
It was possible to do it with chestnuts and pine cones, but it was completely impossible with melons and lemons without sacrificing their appearance.
I thought it would be odd to have different methods for transforming Energy Lockseeds, so I made them all the same, so the sound of detransformation plays when you press the button on the bottom.
We recommend that you have fun by closing the fruit with your thumb and middle finger and pressing the bottom button with your index finger.
