Hello everyone. This is Funasen.
For today's CSM blog, there isn't much new information on ALTERING or Baron set, so we'll be showing you photos of a product sample of the "CSM SENGOKU DRIVER," which will finally be shipped this month, comparing it with the DX version!

First up is SENGOKU DRIVER itself!



Although the size is the same, when you actually touch them you can feel the difference in texture.
The entire body of the DX has a glossy transparent plastic texture, but the CSM has a 75% glossiness compared to 100% glossiness of the DX, and there is no difference in color between the faceplate and the body.

 


 

The back of the cutting blade is also beautiful silver with no hollowing out.



The belt is made of soft plastic (PVC) as usual, but the color has been further adjusted from the one on display at KAMEN RIDER Store in Tokyo Station to be closer to the color in the movie.

 

The color of the internal parts of the Kyoku Joint (made of a material called POM) has also been changed to the same navy blue as the other parts, to eliminate any sense of incongruity.


Next up is "Lockseed"!!



It's an orange Lockseed, but you can tell at a glance that the orange color has changed. (DX on the left, CSM on the right)
It is thinner than DX and has a stronger metallic feel.



This is what it looks like when you open the lid.
You can see that the color of the sticker is quite clear.
The frame part, which was clear orange, is now molded in a metallic orange color, which looks pretty good.
I wanted to paint it metallic orange, but after painting it, I tested its cutting strength with SENGOKU DRIVER and the color transferred to the blade, so I gave up the idea.

 

If you compare this sticker up close, you can see that the small protrusion that was used to position the round sticker is missing!
This is achieved by using a special jig (fixing device) when applying the stickers, which allows the circular stickers to be applied without any misalignment.
This is not possible with DX as it is quite costly.



Finally, "Extreme Lockseed".
As you can see in the photo, the gold color has changed dramatically!
It has a very luxurious gold color based on the prop.
