KAMEN RIDER DOUBLE

Coming soon: "CSM ORGA GEAR" sample and unreleased specifications

Hello everyone. I am in charge of KAMEN RIDER toy development.

We would like to introduce the "CSM ORGA GEAR", which will be delivered soon, along with photos of the mass production sample, as well as additional features that have not been released yet.

I mentioned in a previous blog that I would mention this product, but due to circumstances I was not able to update it. I apologize for that.

●Introducing the package design
First, let me introduce this. The front and back cover designs of this product are as shown below.

<Back cover>

The front and back covers of both ORGA GEAR and ORGA DRIVER have the same design.

●Instruction manual is a booklet

CSM has also moved to a web instruction manual, but ORGA GEAR is still in a manual-style booklet format like the previous Faiz series. The Faiz NEXT series has become a web instruction manual due to the sheer volume of content, but for the Faiz items that appeared in 2003, booklet format will be adopted in future CSMs as part of the expression of the worldview. The Faiz Blaster and other items planned for the future will also be in booklet format.

The contents of the instruction manual are posted below. On the other hand, since there is no web instruction manual, we would like to list it here on the web, so please check it first. (More details will be explained in the blog post below.)

It is mentioned in the instruction manual above, but we will pick out some important points and introduce them here.

Includes 4 different transformation sounds!
He only transforms once in the movie, but in addition to that version (which sounds like the DX version's transformation sound is repeated twice in a row for a longer sound) and the DX version's sound, the transformation sound that appears in Decade without the "complete" sound is also included.
This selection is set by pressing and holding the # button, just like CSM Faiz Gear ver.2 and CSM Saiga Driver.

However, there is one structural problem, which I will explain in advance. As stated in the instruction manual, the IC used in the Organa Phone, like other CSMs, can only play up to three sounds at a time. Due to this condition, and in order to recreate the transformation scene in the show, it is not possible to play the background music and the cell phone startup sound (the sound that is played when you press the trigger before transformation and when you open the lid) at the same time.

The audio for this session is composed of three channels:
ch1: For various sound effects
ch2: For Ogre's cheers
ch3: for background music
The allocation is as follows.
In the transformation scene in Paradise Lost, the Ogre's cheers, the sound of opening a cell phone, and the sound of pressing a button all occur simultaneously, and these had to be neatly distributed across the three channels mentioned above.
In this case, the sound of pressing a button would remain on ch1, and the sound of opening the phone would have to be assigned to ch3.
If that were to happen, it would be impossible to have the background music play while opening the phone and have the button sounds overlap, as in Faiz and Saiga. (In Faiz, the sound of opening the phone was placed on ch2.)
In the movie, there was no transformation scene with background music playing, so please understand the above restrictions. Of course, it is possible to play background music and button sounds as long as you don't play the sound of opening the phone.

●Create a new ringtone
Following on from the Saiga Driver, I've also created a new ringtone for this one. With the concept of a ringtone that has the feel of a 2003 ringtone, which was also the case for Saiga, I've created a melody with an image of a "Famicom - Super Famicom RPG boss battle". I hope you'll listen to it after you receive it.

- Includes a wide variety of Orphnoch sound effects
As stated in the instruction manual, there is a lot of Orphnoch-related audio included.
Audio 1-4 are the normal sequence, with the structure being "general transformation sound ⇒ sound effect during conversation ⇒ sound effect when changing into sprinting mode ⇒ sound effect when canceling transformation." Audio 5-8 are the four sequences mentioned above, but with the transformation sound changed to the Horse Orphnoch's initial transformation sound.
Audio 9 to 11 are the sound of the transformation used in the final episode, the sound of the transformation into the raging state, and the sound of the detransformation in the final episode. (This is a reference to the sound of the battle with Faiz in the final episode.)

These sounds can be played by briefly pressing the # button.
As shown below on the order page, the CSM Faiz Gear ver.2 and CSM Saiga Driver assigned this sound to a short press of the # button, so we have rearranged the layout to match that. The Ogre's cheering sound has been moved to the "CALL button" in the upper left. Please understand that this is to unify the format.

●Plus many special sound effects from Paradise Lost!
In addition, some sound effects are recorded, and there are two kinds of transformation cancellation sounds: "the cancellation sound during the battle with Wolf Orphnoch in the middle of the story" and "the cancellation sound after the battle with Elasmotherium Orphnoch". These can be played alternately by pressing and holding the trigger button while the device is on the belt, so you can cancel the transformation even when you are in the same position after being defeated, just like in the story. Of course, you can also cancel the transformation by pressing the button while the device is in the carry mode.

In addition, by pressing the button or trigger while the phone is attached to the belt in the pre-transformation state, it is possible to play the Horse Orphnoch transformation sound in the fight against Wolf Orphnoch, and the sound of transforming into Ogre while running towards Faiz + punch sound. The latter sound will transition directly to the post-transformation state, allowing for NARIKIRI play as Ogre afterwards.

And by pressing and holding the trigger while the phone is attached to the belt in the pre-transformation state, you can hear the sound of blue flames burning at the end of Kiba's life.

Ogre cheers ⇒ transformation sound ⇒ punch sound ⇒ transformation deactivates ⇒ transforms into Horse Orphnoch ⇒ runs and transforms into Ogre ⇒ special move with Augustanzer ⇒ loses ⇒ protects Mari and blows away Elasmotherium Orphnoch ⇒ transformation deactivates ⇒ fiery end

It is now possible to roughly relive the entire process.

About August Lancer
The Augustranzer has a simple audio structure, but since it is a weapon that hasn't been depicted much in the first place, we've added some expansion parts to it.
As for the trigger, a short press will play the normal sword fighting sound. If the mission memory has not yet been set, the "light bullet attack sound" that exists in the settings will play.
After setting the mission memory, pressing and holding the trigger will play the sound of blowing away the Elasmotherium Orphnoch while protecting the truth.

In addition, three types of special move sounds are recorded, and you can switch between them on the OOGAPHONE.
① Ogre Strash (Victory ver.)
② Ogre Slash (defeat version, i.e. Paradise Lost)
③ The sound of blowing away the Elasmotherium Orphnoch while protecting the truth
It is possible to ring the bell.

Also, for those who purchased ORGA DRIVER separately, this special move sound can be played using just the Ogre Phone (like the CSM Saiga Driver).
When starting up the AugaPhone, if you hold down the trigger button while starting it up, it will go into a mode that does not communicate with the AugaTranser. (If you start it up normally without pressing the trigger, it will go into wireless communication mode.)

●Product sample images
It looks something like this.

Some people on social media have commented that the side buckles could be made a little thinner, but since the joint depth of the various gears in the Faiz series is consistent, the same internal width is necessary, which is why we have decided on this thickness. We appreciate your understanding that this is a circumstance that comes with making the toys.

This was the pre-delivery blog for the CSM ORGA GEAR. Once again, I apologize for not being able to update the blog at the previous announcement stage. I hope that those who have purchased the product will enjoy playing with it. Thank you.
