"CSMロストドライバーver.2" and "CSM T2ガイアメモリver.2 AtoG" are available today!

hello everyone.
I'm in charge of KAMEN RIDER toy development.

Pre-orders for "CSMロストドライバーver.2" and "CSM T2ガイアメモリver.2 AtoG" begin today!

First, please check out the product page and the product introduction video.

Introducing new "ver.2 standard" items featuring individual recognition capabilities via infrared communication between memory and drivers! This means there's a plethora of unique ways to play, fully utilizing the new system!

In this blog, we will provide a detailed explanation of the specifications of the items that became available for pre-order today!

Let's start with the "CSMロストドライバーver.2"!

●The voice recordings for Shotaro Hidari, Sokichi Narumi, and Katsumi Daido have been confirmed!

This product includes lines spoken by Shotaro Hidari, Sokichi Narumi, and Katsumi Daido from their respective video productions!
Just like with the CSMダブルドライバーver.2, thanks to good fortune and the immense kindness of everyone involved, we were able to record the dialogue from the show!
As anyone who has played with the CSMダブルドライバーver.2 will know, the immersion and excitement of being able to hear lines from the show from the toy is immense, so we hope you'll look forward to it!
The Lost Driver has a "mode switching switch" on the back, allowing you to select "whose lines will be played" by switching between three modes.

One of the points we paid particular attention to regarding the specifications of the dialogue is that Narumi Sokichi's line, "I've counted my sins, Matsu, now, count your sins," can be played both before and after transformation. Technically, it's a line that's said after transformation, but for dramatic effect in the show, we thought it would be nice if it could be played even when Sokichi is in his pre-transformation state, so we made it that way. Incidentally, only when the line is played in the post-transformation state does a sound effect play where Sokichi and Skull overlap at the part "Count your sins," so we hope you'll enjoy the difference in sound when you play it in both states.

●Sound gimmick on the driver's side!

Just like with the DOUBLE DRIVER, this driver also features many buttons on the driver itself!
The button layout is as shown in the diagram below, and it's slightly different from the DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2.

The reason for changing the button layout is to achieve the following two specifications:

① Place the dialogue button near the slot.
In many scenes, the Riders who transform using the Lost Driver say the phrase "Transform!" after inserting the memory. Therefore, with the Lost Driver ver.2, you can insert the memory and press the dialogue button while the transformation standby sound is playing to hear the phrase "Transform!".
When playing the "Transform" line during the transformation action, the location with the fewest was near the memory slot, so we decided on this placement.
*As a side note, please rest assured that the device is designed to recreate the scene from "KAMEN RIDER × KAMEN RIDER W & Decade Movie War 2010" where Sokichi Narumi says "Transform" during the transformation sound after deploying his driver.
(If you perform a certain action before transforming, dialogue will be automatically added.)

② Place sound effect buttons on both the left and right sides.
The sound effect buttons are basically used to play the belt-holding sound and belt-attaching sound before transformation, but this time, those buttons are placed on both the left and right sides of the driver. The reason for this is that "which side of the driver to hold and attach to the waist" differs from character to character.
Specifically, Narumi Sokichi and Daido Katsumi hold it in their left hand, while Hidari Shotaro holds it in his right hand and attaches it to his waist. With this Lost Driver, it was necessary to allow for attachment play regardless of which side of the driver is held, so sound effect buttons are placed on both the left and right sides.

For the reasons mentioned above, the button layout has been adjusted for this item. Those familiar with the DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2 may be initially confused, but this design prioritizes ease of use with the Lost Driver alone, so we hope you'll enjoy playing with it and get used to it!

●Enjoy plenty of sound effects to play with after the transformation!

The popular sound effects after transformation, which were also a hit with the CSMダブルドライバーver.2, are still available!
The Lost Driver, of course, can also identify which Rider you are currently transformed into through infrared communication.
If it's the Joker, then it's the "sound of fighting" or the "sound of snapping wrists".
For Skull, the sounds would be: "fighting sounds," "Skull Magnum firing sounds," "the sound of his chest opening and ejecting skulls," and "Matsu's memory break sound."
If it's Eternal, then there are sounds like "fighting sounds with robes" and "thumbs-down sounds",
You can play sound effects that match the memory you're transforming into at any time you like!
Additionally, the "Red Flare Malfunction Sound (Forced Transformation Cancellation Sound)" is included as a sound that can only be played when transforming with the Eternal Memory.
In the previous CSM Lost Driver ver.1.5, there were no buttons that could be operated after transformation, so this sound was only playable automatically 20 seconds after transformation. However, with the addition of a button on the driver itself, you can now play it at any time you like. Why not try playing around with it like Katsumi, holding your hand over the belt, and feel the destiny with the Eternal Memory?

●Incredible expandability through integration with past products!
We've introduced many features so far, but the true value of this item is yet to come! By combining it with the previously released CSMダブルドライバーver.2, you can dramatically expand the play possibilities! We'll introduce its specifications below!

① The hidden audio of the Joker Memory is unlocked!
Actually, the "Joker Memory" included with the already released "CSMダブルドライバーver.2" has a hidden sound.
It's the sound effects for the "Rider Punch" and "Rider Kick" special moves using the Lost Driver, along with Shotaro's shouts at the time.
This voice is only released when the Lost Driver receives an infrared signal. After transforming with the Lost Driver, insert it into the Maximum Slot and perform a special attack action, and the voice will automatically change!

There are more!

After performing certain operations with the Lost Driver ver.2, if you transform using an existing Joker Memory, you can recreate the transformation scene from "Heisei Rider vs. Showa Rider: KAMEN RIDER Rider Taisen feat. Super Sentai" with the line, "Now, count your sins."
This is achieved through a mechanism where the Joker Memory, receiving a signal from the Lost Driver, changes the timing of the transformation sound, and the Lost Driver, having identified the existing Joker Memory, plays Shotaro's lines.
We've incorporated this cross-product gimmick into the DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2 since its development, imagining the surprised looks on everyone's faces, so we're incredibly happy to finally be able to unveil it.

② The memory identifies the driver, and the timing and content of the transformation sound change!
All memories can identify the left and right slots of the Lost Driver ver.2 and DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2, and can play the transformation sound that matches the identified slot. By using this function and combining the Lost Driver and DOUBLE DRIVER, it becomes possible to play various original transformation sounds, such as "Cyclone Skull," "Skull Joker," "Heat Eternal," and "Skull Trigger," at a natural timing.
There are a huge number of combinations, so please try to find your favorite form!
Of course, by inserting the memory included with the DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2 into the Lost Driver, you can play the transformation sounds of "KAMEN RIDER Cyclone," as well as the transformation sounds of fictional Riders such as "KAMEN RIDER Luna" and "KAMEN RIDER Metal," without any sense of incongruity.
The individual transformation sound effects have also been incorporated into the Lost Driver ver.2, so please enjoy those as well.
(For example, the sound of gunfire for "KAMEN RIDER Trigger," or the sound of a punch engulfed in flames for "KAMEN RIDER Heat.")

That concludes our explanation of the "CSMロストドライバーver.2"!

Next, we'd like to introduce "CSM T2ガイアメモリver.2 AtoG"!

This series, titled "T2 Gaia Memory CSM Project," is a plan to commercialize 24 T2 memories other than the "Eternal Memory" and "Joker Memory" included with the CSMロストドライバーver.2. The memories will be divided into four products, six at a time, and released with intervals between them.

Here are the key features of the T2 Gaia Memory!

●Each Gaia Memory has its own unique transformation sound!

Each of these 26 T2 Gaia Memories will have its own unique transformation sound!
For Gaia Memories whose transformation sounds do not appear in the show, new sounds will be used.
The transformation sound here isThis is newly created audio by the person who composed the Gaia Memory voices back in 2009!Please look forward to it!

The transformation sounds for "Bird" and "Nazca Joker" have been previewed in the product introduction PV, so please be sure to check it out.

●Driver slots can be identified via infrared communication!

All 26 of the T2 Memories mentioned above also have communication capabilities, and all 26 can play transformation sounds at the timing corresponding to the left and right slots of the CSMロストドライバーver.2 and CSMダブルドライバーver.2.
In other words, as original play with the toy, you can create anything you want, such as "KAMEN RIDER Nasca," "KAMEN RIDER Ocean," "KAMEN RIDER DOUBLE Weather Nasca," "KAMEN RIDER DOUBLE Unicorn Eternal," etc. Imagining different forms is very fun. The number of forms you can transform into is calculated simply by...
26 (Lost) + 26 x 26 (Double) = 702 FormsSo, there's more to do than you could ever want! It's thrilling!

●Plenty of opportunities to recreate scenes from the movie!

In addition to the original toy play described above, the T2 Gaia Memories also offer plenty of opportunities to recreate scenes from the show. The T2 Gaia Memories used by NEVER in the show, starting with the Cyclone Memory, each include their own unique Dopant transformation sound.
Furthermore, the Unicorn Memory and Zone Memory are planned to include the sounds of Maximum Drive and Never Ending Hell (the sound of loading all T2 Gaia Memories into the body) as seen in the show. We hope you look forward to it.

That concludes our introduction of the two items. Double Item ver.2 offers even more ways to have fun! Don't miss this opportunity to get yours!

In addition, in "Fuuto Tantei," the official sequel to "KAMEN RIDER W," the story is currently unfolding around the mystery of the Lost Driver! Furthermore, a character that Double fans will adore will make a surprise appearance in this exciting development! Be sure to check out "Weekly Big Comic Spirits"! A related project is also planned for issue 24, on sale May 12th. Don't miss it!
