Now, two years ago, Reiwa5year5month5Many people have been looking forward to this since the announcement on "Faiz Day" that the CSMスマートバックル would be commercialized.
To meet those expectations, we are putting our all into developing our products!

So, first, for an overview of the product, please check out the pre-order page and BANDAI official YouTube channel, "Banmani!".
These two points should give you a good understanding.

Therefore, this blog will provide more detailed information and behind-the-scenes stories.

1. 2WAYspecification


Here's the biggest selling point of this product.
The actor's prop before transformation"The shape of the buckle when folded down = it's fairly large."Or, the suit prop after the transformation"A design that prevents the buckle from tipping over = reasonably small"mosquito….
Many people were probably wondering which company would commercialize it, right?

In fact, we were also racking our brains over it, and at first"The buckle can be folded down like an actor's prop, but its shape is smaller and narrower vertically, similar to a suit prop."That's what I was trying to design.
In other words, it's a compromise between the two props.
But one day, an employee who was a Faiz fan said, "Wouldn't it be better if we could recreate both?"The beginningAfter receiving advice and rethinking everything from scratch,

The smaller buckle on the side that folds down (pictured on the right) has come apart.
This CSM original gimmick allows the belt strap to be attached to both the smaller and larger figures, meaning that both shapes of the two props can be reproduced.

It's a simple gimmick when you think about it, but it took me quite a bit of effort to come up with it...
We hope you'll enjoy playing with both of the different shapes to your heart's content.

2. The distinctive belt strap and belt buckle have also been newly designed!
Both the large and small buckles are, of course, newly designed, but surprisingly, the belt strap is also newly designed.

The difference in shape is clearly visible when compared to the FAIZ DRIVER's belt strap.
Like the Riot Trooper's design, it has a restrained and simple design.

Please note that the red color in the photo appears partially dull and almost black because it is a prototype.
The actual mass-produced items will feature a more subdued color scheme, similar to the prop.

And the belt fastener that wraps around the back of the waist has a unique shape, so it's a completely new design!
Its sharp, anchor-like shape is completely different from the FAIZ DRIVER.

Just like the FAIZ DRIVER, this one will have a silver paint finish on the front, giving it a dazzling look.
We hope you enjoy these differences in shape as well!

3. Includes character voice recordings for Naoya Kaido!

When you think of smart buckles, you think of Riot Troopers.
Speaking of Riot Troopers, that would be Kaido-san.
So, we've recorded Kaido's lines!
This release includes several newly recorded lines from episodes 47 and 48, specifically from the Riot Trooper transformation sequence and lines related to the Smart Buckle.

What I found most memorable about Kaido-san was his unique personality and distinctive way of speaking.
That voiceThis is the first time it's been included in a toy!So please be sure to get it and enjoy Kaido's unique style!

4. A wide variety of transformation sounds!

Even though we refer to them simply as Riot Troopers, various people transformed into them in various situations.
Therefore, in order to reproduce them as accurately as possible, we plan to record the following transformation sounds.

① TV Series Episode 47: Kaido's solo transformation version.
There were no scenes where Kaido transformed on his own.
However, I thought it might be a bit annoying if, when you want to play the transformation game by yourself, the transformation sounds of the other five characters also come through in a round-like manner, as in the case of the six simultaneous transformation sounds described in ② below. So, we plan to include individual transformation sounds as well.

② TV Series Episode 47: Kaido & 5 Smart Brain employees transform simultaneously (6 people in total).
This is a combination of the transformation sound "Complete, complete, complete♪" that was played in episode 47 and this one.
If you wear suits and get together with six friends to transform, the sense of realism might be completely complete.

③ TV Series Episode 48: Smart Brain employee solo transformation version.
This is the sound of a Smart Brain employee transforming on their own when confronting Mihara, Mr. Kaido.
Unlike ① and ②, a distinctive feature is the high-pitched electronic sound, like the "piroriroriro" sound, which is characteristic of the Faiz series.

④ Paradise Lost: Riot Trooper Squad ver.
This is the sound from the scene where a large army of Smart Brains, riding motorcycles, transforms.
Although the smart buckle isn't worn in this scene, it will be included as the "transformation sound into a Riot Trooper."

Since the transformation occurs without flipping the buckle, the gameplay involves pressing the "sound effect button" shown in the image above to trigger the sound effect.

⑤ Paradise Regained: Riot Trooper Squad ver.
This one is quite simple: it's a sound composed of "complete" and "the sound of the whole body glowing."

Therefore, we plan to record the five sounds mentioned above.
You might be surprised to find that there were a variety of patterns, right?
Therefore,It offers quite a bit of play value!

The differences between each transformation sound are particularly easy to understand, so you won't feel confused about the differences between them, and you can enjoy NARIKIRI playing each scene to your heart's content!

Being able to compare and contrast these various transformation sounds is one of the features and play value of CSM.
Please try playing as various Riot Troopers with these toys!
