Here are the detailed specifications for the "CSM Accel Driver & Trial Memory ver.2"!
I'm in charge of CSM Double Item development.
Starting at 4 PM today,CSM Accel Driver & Trial Memory ver.2We are now accepting reservations!

Following the "CSMダブルドライバーver.2" and "CSMロストドライバーver.2," we were able to create a ver.2 version of the Accel Driver as well, all thanks to the users who support the CSM Double series. Thank you very much.
As the final Rider Belt in the CSM Double Series ver. 2, we are developing this product with the intention of creating a culmination of the series.
This blog will cover the "CSM Accel Driver & Trial Memory ver.2"
We will introduce it to you, including some behind-the-scenes stories about its development.

・Gaia Memory Enhancement Adapter
This is an all-in-one set related to Accel's transformation, including all the necessary items!
Even if you don't own the DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2 or Lost Driver ver.2, you can enjoy all of Accel's features with this toy alone, so I highly recommend it to fans of Terui and Accel.
Now, let's take a look at the key features of this product!
First, the basicsAccelerator Driver and Accelerator MemoryThis is about that!
●Includes lines from Ryu Terui's video works!
The belt itself and each memory unit of this product contain recorded voice lines from the video production featuring the immortal man, Ryu Terui (played by Minehiro Kinomoto)!
With this, all of the Kamen Rider belts—Double, Joker, Skull, Eternal, and Accel—will now have their original lines recorded on them. As a developer, I am overwhelmed with emotion.
I think the dialogue itself contains some really good lines.
The reservation page features lines such as "Don't ask me questions," and "Now is the time to shake off this cursed past!", but it also includes other lines that are synonymous with the immortal man, such as "I won't die, there are still things I have to do... A sad woman consumed by revenge. I will save her," and "Don't you know? I won't die."
To get a bit more niche, we're planning to include lines like, "She's a bit of a magician, and I'm a bit of a KAMEN RIDER too!" and "Could you please not ask me any questions?" Terui really does have a lot of memorable lines.
There are many other lines of dialogue that will be recorded, so please look forward to it!
●The driver is newly designed!
This product features a completely redesigned shape compared to the previously released CSM Accel Driver. (While parts that don't require updates, such as the belt fastener, retain their original shape, the driver body, belt base, and joints have entirely different shapes and structures.)
The following specifications have been achieved by completely redesigning the shape.
① The driver unit is equipped with sound and light-up gimmicks.
② The overall shape balance and details have been updated to match the props used in the film.
③ Divide the parts into smaller sections according to their respective paint colors to improve the contrast of the colors.
I will explain the three points above in order.
① The driver unit is equipped with sound and light-up gimmicks.
The most distinctive feature of this new Accel Driver is that the belt itself is equipped with sound and light-up gimmicks. This allows for a variety of play possibilities, as is typical of the "CSM Double Series ver.2".
When developing a CSM, we often start by considering "how many buttons or switches are needed to play the game we want to play," and in this case, we needed a total of eight switches, including internal ones.
Actually, even in the DX version, there was hardly any extra space inside the Accel Driver, so incorporating eight new switches while maintaining the same silhouette was extremely difficult. Initially, we considered this design as a long shot, but by cleverly relocating the battery and speaker, we managed to fit it in. As a result, the internal mechanism and everything else is completely different from previous models.

One of the points we focused on in terms of button implementation is the BGM button. While this is a small design that already exists in the original DX version, in this product it has been made larger to match the design seen in the show. Also, in episode 22, when it transforms into the Accel Gunner during the battle against the Triceratops Dopant, it is shown being used as a trigger button for the cannon firing action, so when the Accel Driver is in Accel Gunner mode, its function changes so that it can be used as a sound effect button.

② The overall shape balance and details have been updated to match the props used in the film.
This product features a newly sculpted design to accommodate various gimmicks, but since we were designing it from scratch anyway, we refined the sculpt to match the props used in the show.
If you compare it to previous products, you'll see the difference clearly.
The levers are made of die-cast metal, just like in previous CSM. However, their shape has been updated, giving them a sharper, more defined look compared to previous CSM.

③ Divide the parts into smaller sections according to their respective paint colors to improve the contrast of the colors.
In the already released "CSMダブルドライバーver.2," we created a sense of three-dimensionality in the details and enhanced the contrast of the colors by meticulously separating the parts by color, and we have updated the shape of this Accel Driver using the same approach.
That's all for the details regarding the sculpting!
● Packed with sound effects!
The sound gimmick is also a very impressive feature! For example, in addition to the normal transformation sound,
You can enjoy variations in transformation sounds, such as the first transformation in episode 19 (where twisting the grip produces only the "Accel!" sound, followed by a transformation standby sound that lasts for a few seconds before the transformation sound plays), and shorter, abbreviated transformations.
Furthermore, the special attack sounds can include the "Rider Twin Maximum" attack performed with KAMEN RIDER Double in episode 28, and the special attack sound used in the Accel Turbuler state during the battle against Terror Dragon in episode 46.
In addition, the game features a function where pressing the lever repeatedly during a special move changes the sound of the special move depending on the number of times you press it. For example, if you press the lever 9 times, the sound that follows will be like a 9-hit combo.
That concludes our explanation of the Accel Driver and Accel Memory!
Next up, the first ever CSM releaseTrial MemoryIntroducing...!
●Completely new design!
The Trial Memory is also a completely new design. The internal details of the memory have been upgraded to the ver.2 standard, and finer details are reproduced with separate parts, resulting in a more striking and vibrant color scheme.
In addition, we've made adjustments to the finer details to match those in the film.
Upon closer inspection, you'll notice that there are some parts that differ considerably in shape from the DX version.

●Special move gameplay has evolved!
The main appeal of Trial Memory is the special move gameplay where you operate the buttons on the timer to count up, but this time, that special move gameplay has evolved considerably!
In the Trial Memory, Maximum Drive is activated by timing a 10-second timer and stopping the count within 10 seconds. However, looking at the action scenes in the show, the actual video length is almost always longer than 10 seconds.
The DX version of the Trial Memory had a feature where the count would reset to 0.1 seconds after exceeding 9.9 seconds, which made it easy to play with. However, to get a display in the 9-second range like Terui in the show, you had to wait another 9 seconds after the display reset to 0.1 seconds and stop the count at the right moment. This was a bottleneck when trying to recreate scenes from the show. (Although it is a fantastic toy for boys in its own right...)
This product has been modified as follows to improve ease of recreating scenes from the show.
① From 0.1 seconds to 9.9 seconds, the behavior is the same as in DX, with normal count-up.
② If the count exceeds 9.9 seconds, it will reset to 9.0 seconds.
③ The countdown progresses from 9.0 seconds to 9.9 seconds, and after 9.9 seconds, it returns to 9.0 seconds.
From here on, repeat step ③.
In other words, after the count exceeds 9.9 seconds,No matter when you stop the countdown, you can get a segment display that shows a time in the 9-second range, just like in the movie. That's the gist of it. Since the intervals between 9.0 and 9.9 seconds repeat in a regular pattern, you can even play a game of timing your button presses.
It might sound complicated when explained in words, but I think you'll find it's actually simple and easy to play once you start playing, so I really hope you'll give it a try.
Whether you're familiar with the DX version's Trial Memory or not, I think you'll be satisfied with the gameplay experience.
Additionally, for those who want to relive the intense feeling of counting up that Terui likely experienced in the story, there is a "training mode" where exceeding 10 seconds in the count results in a "maximum failure," and the failure animation from the show plays.
For those of you who feel that the specifications of this product, which allow you to play comfortably even after more than 10 seconds, are "too easy, too easy...!", then please try this out.
In addition, if you play this "Special Training Mode" with the memory set to dialogue mode, there is a reward feature where, if you can stop the countdown at 9.8 seconds or 9.7 seconds, the same times that Terui reads out the seconds in the video, you will hear Terui's voice reading out the corresponding number of seconds, such as "9.8 seconds, that's the time until your despair."
*If the time is 9.1 seconds, the line "Time out..." will play.
Because it's challenging, I think it makes for an interesting and fun gaming experience.
*As will be explained later, there is an even simpler way to play unique lines of dialogue based on the number of seconds.
●The true essence of communication gimmicks! "Special move gameplay with time selection"!
The biggest improvement in this Trial Memory is the "Special Move Play with Selectable Seconds" feature!
Trial's special move is depicted several times in the story, but the segment display at the end of the countdown varied from scene to scene: 9.8 seconds (against Weather Dopant), 9.7 seconds (against Hopper Dopant), 9.2 seconds (against Old Dopant), and 9.1 seconds (against Trigger Dopant). The newly added "Special Move Time Selection Play" allows you to select the number of seconds."I will definitely release it."This is the specification for that purpose.
The gameplay is very simple: after transforming with the Trial Memory, you perform a specific operation on the Accel Driver, which causes the driver and memory to communicate, allowing you to select the number of seconds for the segment displayed when the count stops.
On the Trial Memory side, a number (01 to 06) is displayed on the segment depending on the type of signal received from the belt, making it possible to visually confirm which special move mode is active.

There are a total of six modes, as follows:

Let me explain the game with an example.
For example, if you select the Weather Dopant battle in scenario 01 and then perform a special attack, the attack sounds and shouts that play at the start of the countdown will change to those from the Weather Dopant battle.
After that, if you stop the count, the segment display at the time of stopping will be "9.8 seconds," regardless of when you actually stopped it.
If the memory is in dialogue mode, Terui's line, "9.8 seconds, that's the time until your despair," will play, and the explosion sound will be from the corresponding scene. (The sound of the Weather Memory breaking will also play in sequence.)
And so on.
This specification significantly improves the ease of recreating scenes from the game, making it possible for anyone to achieve a no-look 9.8-second time. I've played around with it many times while debugging during program development, and achieving a no-look 9.8-second time is truly satisfying, so I highly recommend you try it out for yourself.
Incidentally, item 05 on the list is the aforementioned "Special Training Mode," and item 06 is a mode that allows you to recreate the "Maximum Failure Scene" from your first transformation.
When the Maximum Failure animation plays, an error sound starts before the 10-second countdown is complete, and if you're in dialogue mode, Terui's voice saying "Ugh...! I can't control it at all...!" is added. It's a niche but memorable scene recreation mode. This one also offers an NARIKIRI immersion, so please try training with Shroud.
That's all for the trial memory!
Next,Gaia Memory Enhancement AdapterIntroducing...!
I think this is an item that fans have been eagerly awaiting!
The power-up item needed to transform into Accel Booster is finally being made into a 3D object for the first time in its standalone form! *While there was an integrated memory unit released some time ago as part of the Capsule Gaia Memory series, this is the first time it's been released as a standalone adapter.
The key points are listed below!
●Features sound and light effects!
This adapter comes equipped with sound and light-up features!
By inserting the top of the memory into the slot, the adapter will emit a voice message saying "Accelerate! Upgrade!", and the display will light up in sync with the voice message.
Since there is no communication with the memory, to recreate the Booster transformation, you need to put the Accel Memory into Booster Mode, insert the adapter, and then transform using the driver to recreate the sequence from the show.
For those who want to completely recreate the sequence of events in the show and don't want to tamper with the memory between removing it from the Accel Driver and inserting it into the enhanced adapter, we've made it possible to send a signal from the Accel Driver to the memory, allowing you to "automatically switch to booster mode silently and without any operation after removing the memory from the driver," thus recreating the sequence of events in the show.
During the development phase, we considered having the accelerator memory and the enhanced adapter communicate with each other, but we found that it would be impossible to place the sensors and switches for communication on top of the memory, which contains the speaker. Even if it were possible, the appearance of the memory would be significantly distorted (it would look like the memory was sticking out from the top). Therefore, we prioritized appearance and went with the current specifications.
●Can be installed on memory other than accelerator memory!
If you had an enhanced adapter on hand, the first thing you'd probably think is, "I'd like to try using this on other memory besides the Accelerator Memory..."
This time, we've designed it so that you can indulge in such imaginative play.
The power supply for the enhanced adapter is as follows: turning it on in A mode on the left activates "normal mode," which is the mode for enjoying the synchronization with the accelerator memory.
And the B mode on the right is, so to speak, the "fantasy play mode," a mode where you can play by combining it with memories other than the Accelerator Memory.

In normal mode, when you insert a memory into the adapter, the adapter will emit a sound of insertion plus the words "Accel! Upgrade!", but in B mode, you can silence the memory name part, making it sound like "...Upgrade!". After inserting a memory other than the Accel memory into the slot, you can press the button on the front of the memory at the right time to make the memory name sound, for example, with Cyclone, you can make it say "Cyclone! Upgrade!". By making full use of this, you can have fun imagining upgrading various memories!
Of course, it can also be used in conjunction with T2 Gaia Memories, so the thought of being able to do things like "Ocean Upgrade" and "Weather Upgrade" in the future really sparks the imagination!
Additionally, this Contents includes a "reinforced adapter fixing cover part," which is a replacement cover part used to hold the reinforced adapter in place on the Accel Memory. (There is a small hole on the top of the back of the memory.)

The reinforced adapter has a hook-like shape located on the back of the memory module. This hook fits into a hole in the cover part, reinforcing the secure attachment to the memory module.
We considered eliminating the hook shape and creating a structure that secures the memory with a slight resistance, but the length of the memory module that needs to be inserted into the adapter is quite short, so without this structure, it would easily fall out. The stronger the resistance, the more likely it is to leave scratches on the entire memory module, so we believe this specification is the best. (Even with the hook shape, due to the characteristics of the structure, friction is not completely eliminated.)
Therefore, if you leave the reinforced adapter attached to a memory module without this part for an extended period, constant tension will be applied to the hook, which may weaken the spring of the hook. So, it's best to limit the above-mentioned imaginative play to just inserting and removing the adapter, and avoid displaying it in that state for extended periods.
If you absolutely want to display it in that state, we recommend attaching this fixing part to the corresponding memory. (The front and back will have different colors, but the specifications are the same, so it can be attached without any problems.)
That concludes our introduction!
This product is the final Rider Belt in the "Double Series ver.2," so we put a lot of effort into developing it with the feeling that it's the culmination of everything!
Whether you've been supporting Double ver.2 up until now or this is your first time getting a ver.2 belt, I believe this Terui Ryu complete set will be satisfying, so I hope you'll consider getting one.
*For true completionThatI think there are some people who feel that something is lacking.ThatWe would be very grateful if you would consider purchasing this product, as it will help us bring it to market.
Also, we are currently accepting pre-orders for "CSM T2 Gaia Memory ver.2 OtoT".

The X account "KAMEN RIDER TOY WEB" has also released new transformation sounds for the Ocean Memory and Rocket Memory, so please be sure to check it out.
Of course, this product is also compatible with the "CSM Accel Driver & Trial Memory ver.2," changing the timing of the transformation sound, and the transformation cancellation sound that plays from the Gaia Memory when it is removed from the driver also changes to one unique to the Accel Driver. (All Gaia Memories of the "ver.2 standard" that have been released have these specifications.)
As for the Puppeteer Memory and Queen Memory, which haven't been revealed yet, they'll be a surprise until you receive them, so we hope you'll look forward to them!
