I'm in charge of development for ツインブレス -MEMORIAL EDITION-!
This time, we are currently accepting reservations"ツインブレス -MEMORIAL EDITION-"We'll be sharing details about the product's appeal and development secrets that we couldn't fully cover on the order page!
●Exterior
The left and right bracelets were created to resemble the props used in the show. While there were slight differences in coloring between the props used in the first half of the show, the DX toy, and the props used in the second half, this time we decided on the coloring based on the memorable transformation sequence in the show where the left and right bracelets are brought closer together. For example, the upper frame part, excluding the LED, was clear orange in the DX version, but we changed it to clear to match the image from the show! Regarding the size, considering the electrical specifications such as sufficient battery capacity for infrared communication and full-color LED illumination while playing background music (described later), we adopted a specification using two AAA batteries and increased the size. Originally, it used a size called AAA battery, which is rarely seen these days. The light and sound gimmick is implemented in the left bracelet, and it looks very cool and substantial when worn on the arm!

Next up is the Light Bracelet. The most important thing I want to tell you about the Light Bracelet is"Five plates are included."That's the thing! Back then, the Black Bison and Green Rhino panels were apparently only available by phone and mail, and there were very few of them in circulation. This time, you don't have to call BANDAI directly, as they're included from the start, so rest assured...! If you're a fan of Black Bison or Green Rhino, you can get your hands on this Twin Brace and become both of them!

The plate insertion mechanism also uses a sliding mechanism, referencing the original DX version. The plate is held in place by a spring pushing from below, but to prevent the sticker from rubbing during insertion, the sticker side is slightly lower than the black side. As for the stickers themselves, we consulted with the factory to adjust the color, gloss, and material based on the colors seen in the show and on the toy.

● Transformation
This Memorial Edition incorporates an infrared system in both bracelets, which reacts when the bracelets are brought close together.
The original DX toy used magnets to implement the non-contact bracelet reaction gimmick, but due to the limited range of the magnets' reaction, it was difficult to transform in the same pose as in the show. By changing to an infrared transmission and reception function, it is now possible to transform by taking poses that are consistent with those in the show.

First, the motion of thrusting the right arm forward. The scene in the show where he tilts his arm 90 degrees to show the plate's design on the screen is so cool it gives me chills...! The sound effect for this motion was very memorable among the Liveman transformations, so we included it. The above sound will play after you press the infrared button on the Left Brace and wait a certain amount of time. It feels like you're trying to match your movements to the sound, but we decided to include it. All the sounds are played from the Left Brace.

Next, you'll perform a motion where you bring your right arm closer to the left brace. This is controlled by infrared communication, so move your right arm at your own timing, shout "Liveman!" and the name of each character, and transform to your heart's content!
This time, we've added another full-color LED near the infrared receiver on the left bracelet. In the movie, the light appears to converge from the red part at the top of the bracelet to where the left and right bracelets meet, so we've used two full-color LEDs to recreate that image and make the light appear as if it were from the movie.

What's more, the glowing color isn't just a single red; you can now change the glowing color to match each character's image! By operating the Left Breath, you can select each character's mode. The glowing color will then switch to match that character. If you're in the mood to sing on the beach, try playing as Blue Dolphin; if you want to NARIKIRI Tecchan Robo, try playing as Black Bison! (lol)

• Audio
We have included a lot of audio recordings, so I will explain them in detail, although it will take some time!
FirstTransformation soundThat's it! Several transformation sounds are used in the show, but we've selected the most memorable ones. We've included two types of transformation sounds that were often accompanied by transformation sequences, as well as the sound for the transformation without a sequence, where the character transforms into a ball of light and moves while transforming.
In addition to the transformation sounds from the main series, this also includes the transformation and de-transformation sounds of Red Falcon from his appearance in "Gaoranger VS Super Sentai." The simultaneous transformation of the Gaorangers and past warriors, starting with Banba Sokichi's cry of "Alright everyone, let's go!!", was a huge shock to me as someone who grew up with Gaoranger...!

FirstBreath wearing soundThis is the audio from episode 30, a crucial scene where Tetsuya and Junichi receive their bracelets from Yusuke. In fact, the opening of the promotional video for this product is also based on this scene! We included this audio in the product with the hope that everyone who purchases it (including myself) can become a member of the Liveman team! We would be delighted if you could immerse yourself in the role from the moment you receive the Twin Brace from Yusuke.

Next upCommunication soundThis sound, which was used several times in the show before the transformation, including in the scene in episode 26 when Colon contacts the player, is similar to the sound produced by the original DX version toy. This is also included.
andWeapon transfer sound!This is the audio for the transfer of the Libra Blaster used by Yusuke in episode 30. It's the sound of the Twin Brace glowing, followed by a beautiful, sparkling sound as the weapon is transferred to Shunsuke's hand. I included this audio because the Twin Brace glowed at the moment the Libra Blaster was transferred to Yusuke's right hand. I was surprised to learn that the Twin Brace could be used in this way! The technological prowess of the Science Academy... truly amazing...

From the impressive scene at the beginning of the attack sequence where the head's eyes light up, to the powerful beam attack sound, everything is included. (As a side note, the DX toy of the Bimotion Buster at the time was a new type of toy for Sentai, using vibration action, and was designed to recreate the impact of the Bimotion Buster in the show, and it was an astonishing toy that used 6 AA batteries.)
The attack sound of Spark Attack is also included. It was an impressive move as it involved all five characters attacking together, so we included it as well. The attack sounds are synchronized with the way the enemies are defeated in the game, and they play each time you press a button.The sound effects play in the order of individual attacks → combined attack → Bi-Motion Buster.It's currently underway!
Furthermore, it's the jump sound that's also mentioned in the audio recording section of the order page.
Jumping sound? ...Yes, that's the sound that played frequently in the show, such as when characters jump off cliffs after introducing themselves or when they leap at enemies! It was used quite often in the main story, so I'm sure many of you have it stuck in your minds. The jumping sound is so iconic that it's practically synonymous with Showa-era special effects! It's interesting how the sound is different and unique in each work. We've also included this sound in this recording.
Finally, I'd like to explain the robot's call sound!
The scene where he raises his left arm after the enemy grows to a gigantic size and summons Machine Buffalo and robots is memorable, but this time...Live Robo's launch soundandThe sound of a live boxer launchingIt includes the following sounds. In Falcon, Lion, and Dolphin modes, you'll hear the sound of Live Robo being deployed, and in Bison and Rhino modes, you'll hear the sound of Live Boxer being deployed. As you can see, it includes sounds that make not only the transformation play but also the play after the transformation more fun, so we hope you'll pick it up and listen to it!

This time, we've included two songs: the opening theme of the main series, "Choujuu Sentai Liveman (TV size)," and "Liveman ga 5-nin!". I think both are memorable songs that play during transformations.Transformation play with background music is also possible.And, by pressing a specific button, you can play the BGM and even the sound effects of the five members introducing themselves at the same time as the transformation, allowing for the ultimate transformation play!
