Introducing the detailed specifications of the "CSM Accel Driver & Trial Memory ver.2"!
hello everyone!
I am in charge of CSM double item development.
Starting at 4pm today, we will begin accepting pre-orders for the CSM Accel Driver & Trial Memory ver.2!

Following on from "CSM DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2" and "CSM Lost Driver ver.2", we were able to release Accel Driver ver.2 thanks to the support of all the users of the CSM Double series. Thank you very much.
As the final rider belt in the CSM Double Series ver. 2, we are developing this product with the determination to create a culmination of the series.
In this blog, we will introduce the "CSM Accelerator Driver & Trial Memory ver.2"
We will introduce this product, including behind-the-scenes stories about its development.
This product
・Accelerator Driver
・Accel Memory
・Trial Memory
・Gaia Memory Enhanced Adapter
This is an all-in-one set related to Axel's transformation!
Even if you don't have DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2 or Lost Driver ver.2, you can still enjoy all of Axel's gameplay on its own, so I would recommend this to fans of Terui and Axel.
Now, let's take a look at some of the highlights of this product!
First, let's talk about the basic Accel Driver and Accel Memory!
●Contains lines from Terui Ryu's video works!
The belt itself and each memory of this product contain audio of the immortal man, Terui Ryu (played by Kinomoto Minehiro), speaking lines from the film!
With this, the original lines from the original will now be recorded on the belts of all riders: Double, Joker, Skull, Eternal, and Accel. As a developer, I am overwhelmed with emotion.
I think there are a lot of good lines in the dialogue as well.
The pre-order page lists lines such as "Don't ask me any questions," and "Now is the time to shake off this cursed past!", but the game also includes lines that are synonymous with the immortal man, such as "I won't die, because there are still things I need to do... A sad woman consumed by revenge. I will save her," and "Don't you know? I won't die."
To get a little more nitty-gritty, we plan to include lines like "She's a bit of a magician, and I'm a bit of KAMEN RIDER!" and "Please don't ask me any questions." Terui really has a lot of great quotes.
There will also be many other lines included, so please look forward to them!
●The driver is a new design!
This product has a completely new shape from the previously released CSM Accelerator Driver. (The shape of parts that do not require updating, such as the belt fastener, remains the same, but the driver itself, belt base, joints, etc. have completely different shapes and structures.)
The following specifications have been achieved in redesigning the shape:
① Equipped with sound and light gimmicks on the driver body
② The overall shape balance and details have been updated to match the sculptures in the movie.
3. Parts are divided into different paint colors to improve the contrast of the colors.
We will explain the above three points step by step.
① Equipped with sound and light gimmicks on the driver body
The biggest feature of this Accel Driver is that the belt itself is equipped with sound and light gimmicks, allowing for a variety of play possibilities that are typical of the "CSM Double Series ver.2."
When developing a CSM, we often start by asking ourselves, "How many buttons and switches are needed to play the game I want?" In this case, we needed a total of eight switches, including internal ones.
In fact, since the DX version, there has been almost no space left inside the Accel Driver, so it was extremely difficult to fit eight new switches inside while keeping the silhouette the same, and although we initially considered the design without any hope of success, we managed to fit them in by tweaking the battery storage position and speaker, etc. As a result, it is a completely different product from previous models, including the internal mechanism.

One of the key points we focused on when implementing the buttons was the BGM button. This is a small design that also exists in the original DX, but for this product we have made it larger to match the design in the show. Also, when the Accelerator Driver transforms into the Accelerator Gunner in the battle against the Triceratops Dopant in episode 22, it is depicted as being used as a trigger button for firing actions, so when the Accelerator Driver is in Accelerator Gunner mode, its function changes so that it can be used as a sound effect button.

② The overall shape balance and details have been updated to match the sculpture in the movie.
This product has been newly sculpted to accommodate various gimmicks, but since it was designed from scratch, the shape has been refined to match the sculpture in the movie.
If you compare it with previous products, you will be able to see the difference.
The lever is made of die-cast, just like previous CSM models. The shape has also been updated, giving it an edgier look than previous CSM models.

3. Parts are divided into different paint colors to improve the contrast of the colors.
In the already released "CSM DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2", the parts were divided into small parts by color to create a three-dimensional effect in the details and enhance the contrast of the coloring, and the shape of this Accel Driver has been updated using the same approach.
That's all about the design!
●Comprehensive audio gimmicks!
The sound gimmicks are also very impressive! For example, in addition to the normal transformation sound,
You can enjoy a variety of transformation sounds, such as the first transformation in episode 19 (when you twist the grip, only the sound "Accelerator!" is heard, followed by the transformation standby sound that lasts for a few seconds, and then the transformation sound is heard), and a shortened transformation that is shorter than usual.
In addition, the special move sounds include the "Rider Twin Maximum" performed together with KAMEN RIDER Double, seen in episode 28, and the special move sound in Accel Turbula state, seen in the battle against Terror Dragon in episode 46.
Additionally, by pressing the lever repeatedly during a special move, the sound of the subsequent special move will change accordingly. For example, if you press the lever nine times, the sound of a nine-hit attack will be activated.
That concludes the explanation about Accel Driver and Accel Memory!
Next, we'd like to introduce you to Trial Memory, which is being made into a CSM for the first time!
●Completely new design!
The trial memory is also a completely new design. The detailed shape inside the memory has been upgraded to the ver.2 standard, and the fine details have been reproduced with separate parts, giving the color a more vibrant feel.
In addition, the finer details have been adjusted to match those in the movie.
If you look closely, you'll see that there are some parts that are significantly different in shape from the DX version.

●Special move gameplay has evolved!
Speaking of Trial Memory, the best part is probably the special move play where you operate the button on the timer part to count up, but this time the special move play has evolved considerably!
In the Trial Memory, Maximum Drive measures 10 seconds like a stopwatch, and if the count is stopped within 10 seconds, the special move will be activated. However, if you look at the scenes in the movie where he is active, the actual length of the footage is usually more than 10 seconds.
The DX version of Trial Memory has a feature that if the count exceeds 9.9 seconds it resets to 0.1 seconds, which makes it easy to play with, but in order to get a 9-second display like Terui in the movie, you have to wait another 9 seconds from the moment the display returns to 0.1 seconds and then stop the count at the right time, which I think was a sticking point when trying to recreate scenes from the movie. (It's a great toy for boys, in its own way, but...)
In order to make it easier to recreate scenes from the movie, the specifications of this product have been changed as follows.
① From 0.1 seconds to 9.9 seconds, it behaves like a normal count-up, just like DX.
② When the count exceeds 9.9 seconds, it returns to 9.0 seconds.
③The countdown advances from 9.0 seconds to 9.9 seconds again, and then returns to 9.0 seconds after 9.9 seconds.
Then, repeat step ③
In other words, once the count reaches 9.9 seconds, you can stop the count at any time to display the 9-second segments like in the movie. The 9.0 to 9.9 seconds repeats regularly, so you can play by pressing the buttons at your own pace.
It may sound complicated to explain in words, but when you actually play it, I think you'll find it's simple and easy to play, so I hope you'll give it a try.
I think that both those who are familiar with the DX version of Trial Memory and those who are not will be satisfied with the gameplay.
Additionally, for those who want to relive the severe count-up sensation that Terui must have experienced in the film, there is also a "Special Training Mode" in which if the count exceeds 10 seconds, it will be considered a "Maximum Failure" and the failure scenes from the film will be played.
If you're an immortal customer who thinks that the specifications of this product, which allows you to play comfortably for more than 10 seconds, are "too sweet...!", then we recommend you give this a try.
Additionally, if you play this "Special Training Mode" with the memory set to dialogue mode, and you manage to stop the countdown at 9.8 or 9.7 seconds, when Terui reads out the number of seconds in the video, you will be rewarded with a voiceover reading from Terui that corresponds to the number of seconds, such as "9.8 seconds, that's all the time you have until you despair."
*At 9.1 seconds, the line "Timeout..." will be heard.
Although it's quite tough, I think it's an interesting play experience.
*As will be explained later, there is also an easier way to play unique lines according to the number of seconds.
●The true essence of the communication gimmick! "Select the number of seconds to play a special move"!
The biggest improvement in this Trial Memory is the ability to play special moves by selecting the number of seconds!
Trial's special moves are depicted several times in the story, and the segment display when the countdown stops is different for each scene: 9.8 seconds (against Weather Dopant), 9.7 seconds (against Hopper Dopant), 9.2 seconds (against Old Dopant), and 9.1 seconds (against Trigger Dopant). The newly added "seconds selectable special move play" is a feature that allows you to "definitely get" that number of seconds.
The gameplay is very simple. After transforming using the Trial Memory, by performing a specific operation on the Accel Driver side, the driver and memory will communicate and you can select the number of seconds for the segment to be displayed when the countdown stops.
On the trial memory side, a number (01 to 06) is displayed on the segment depending on the type of signal received from the belt, allowing you to visually check which special move mode it is in.

There are six modes in total, as follows:

To explain the game using an example,
For example, if you select the Weather Dopant battle in 01 and then perform a special move, the attack sounds and shouts that play as the countdown starts will change to those for the Weather Dopant battle.
If you then stop the count, the segment display will be "9.8 seconds" regardless of when you stop it.
If the memory is in dialogue mode, Terui's line "9.8 seconds, that's the time until you reach despair" will be played, and the explosion sound will be the same as the scene in question (the sound of the Weather Memory being broken will also be played in succession).
Something like that.
This feature has made it much easier to recreate the scenes from the movie, and anyone can achieve 9.8 seconds without looking. I've played around with it many times while debugging while developing the program, and it really feels good to achieve 9.8 seconds without looking, so I hope you'll try it out for yourself.
By the way, 05 on the list is the aforementioned "Special Training Mode," and 06 is a mode that allows you to recreate the "Maximum Failure Scene" that occurs during the first transformation.
When you fail the maximum attack, an error sound will sound before the 10-second countdown has finished, and in dialogue mode, Terui's voice will be added, saying "Guh...! I can't control it at all...!" This is a mode that recreates a nerdy but memorable scene. This mode is also NARIKIRI immersive, so be sure to give it a try and enjoy some intensive training with Shroud.
That's it for trial memory!
Next up, we'd like to introduce the Gaia Memory Enhanced Adapter!
I think this is an item that fans have been waiting for!
The power-up item required to transform into the Accel Booster has finally been made into a standalone figure for the first time! While the Capsule Gaia Memory series released a memory-integrated version a while back, this is the first time it has been made into a standalone adapter.
The highlights are as follows!
●Includes sound and light gimmicks!
This adapter is equipped with sound and light gimmicks!
When you insert the top of the memory into the slot, the adapter will play a voice saying "Accelerate! Upgrade!" and the display will light up in time with the voice.
Since it does not communicate with the memory, to recreate Booster's transformation, you simply put the Accel Memory into Booster mode, load the adapter, and transform with the driver to recreate the sequence from the movie.
For those who want to perfectly recreate the flow of events in the movie and don't want to have to fiddle with the memory between removing the Accel Memory from the Accel Driver and inserting it into the enhanced adapter, we have made it possible to send a signal from the Accel Driver to the memory, which will automatically switch to Booster Mode silently and without any operation after removing the memory from the driver, allowing you to recreate the flow of events in the movie.
During the development stage, we considered having the Accel Memory communicate with the Enhanced Adapter, but we realized that it would be impossible to place sensors or switches for communication on top of the memory that contains the speaker, and even if it were possible, it would significantly ruin the appearance of the memory (it would look like the memory was extended on top), so we prioritized appearance and came up with the specifications we have today.
●Can be installed on memory other than Accel Memory!
If you had an enhanced adapter on hand, the first thing you would think would be, "I'd like to use this with other memory besides Accel Memory."
This time, we have designed it so that you can also play with your imagination.
The power supply for the enhanced adapter is as shown below. When you turn it on in mode A on the left, it enters "normal mode," which is the mode for enjoying the link with Accel Memory.
And the B mode on the right is what you might call the "imagination play mode," which is a mode for playing with memories other than the Accel memory.

In normal mode, when you load a memory into the adapter, the adapter will play the loading sound as well as the sound "Accel! Upgrade!", but in B mode you can silence the memory name part, so it sounds like "...Upgrade!" After loading a memory other than Accel Memory into the loading slot, press the front button on the memory at the right time to make the memory name sound, and for example, if it's Cyclone, you'll hear a sound like "Cyclone! Upgrade!" This allows you to have fun imagining various memory upgrades!
Of course, it can also be linked with the T2 Gaia Memory, so the idea of being able to do things like "Ocean Upgrades" and "Weather Upgrades" in the future just lets your imagination run wild!
This Contents also includes a replacement cover part for securing the reinforced adapter to the Accel Memory. (There is a small hole at the top of the back of the memory.)

The reinforced adapter has a hook-like shape located on the back of the memory, and this hook fits into a hole in the cover part to strengthen the fixation to the memory.
We considered eliminating this hook shape and using a structure that would secure the memory with abutments, but the length of the memory that is inserted into the adapter is quite short, so without this structure, it would fall off easily. The stronger the fit, the more likely it is that the memory will leave rubbing marks, so we think this specification is the best. (Even with the hook shape, due to the nature of the structure, rubbing will not be completely eliminated.)
Therefore, if you attach the reinforced adapter to memory without this part attached for a long period of time, the hook will be under constant tension, which may weaken the spring in the hook. Therefore, we recommend that you limit the above-mentioned fantasy play to just inserting and removing it, and refrain from displaying it in that state for long periods of time.
If you really want to display it in that state, we recommend attaching this fixing part to the memory. (The colors on the front and back will look different, but the specifications are the same, so it will attach without any problems.)
That's all for the introduction!
This product is the final rider belt of the "Double Series ver.2", so we have put a lot of effort into developing it as a culmination of the series!
I believe that this complete set of the Terui Ryu belt will satisfy not only those who have supported Double Ver. 2 up until now, but also those who are getting the Ver. 2 belt for the first time, so I hope you will pick it up.
*We understand that some people may feel that something is missing to make the collection truly complete. We hope that you will pick up this product, as it will help lead to the commercialization of that item.
We are also currently accepting pre-orders for "CSM T2 Gaia Memory ver.2 OtoT."

New transformation sounds for the Ocean Memory and Rocket Memory have also been released on X's account, "KAMEN RIDER TOY WEB," so be sure to check it out.
Of course, it can also be linked with this product, the "CSM Accel Driver & Trial Memory ver.2," which changes the timing of the transformation sound and also changes the transformation cancellation sound that comes from the Gaia Memory when it is removed from the driver to something unique to the Accel Driver. (All "ver.2 standard" Gaia Memories already on sale have this specification.)
The Puppeteer Memory and Queen Memory have yet to be revealed, so you will have to wait until they arrive to find out, so we hope you will look forward to it!
That's all for today's blog.
See you later!
