Introducing Garren Rouser's unique gimmick (Part 2)!
Hello everyone. This is Funasen.
Thank you to everyone who purchased the CSM KIVAT BELT and enjoyed playing with it!
We will also announce this product here.
However, due to the product structure, KIVAT BELT consumes more power than other CSMs.
The battery is designed to run out more quickly than previous CSM products.
If the startup sound "I am Kivat-Bat III" starts repeating, it's a sign that the battery is low.
If this restart phenomenon occurs repeatedly, replace the battery with a new one.
As stated in the instruction manual, please use alkaline batteries.
This product is for use with alkaline batteries only.
Please use "alkaline batteries" rather than manganese batteries or rechargeable batteries.
I kindly thank you.
Today's blog will introduce the Garren Rouser's unique new gimmick (Part 2)!!
First
●Variations of Burning Divide
In the music video featuring Amano, it was mentioned that there was a burning divide between "with Sayoko" and "without Sayoko," but it can be divided a little more finely.
After scanning the three cards, this special move will be activated with different sounds using the "trigger button" and "sound effect button."
Please read the following.
After scanning
"Pull the trigger" ⇒ Normal Burning Divide
"Press the sound effect button" ⇒ Burning Divide from episode 15
A total of four types of sounds can be activated depending on whether the voice mode is set to ON or OFF.
In episode 15's version of Burning Divide, after the system voice "Burning Divide" finishes playing, there is a pause of about 3 seconds before the special attack sound starts.
During this part, you can shout "Sayoko!" in your own voice, or you can shout the name of someone you like.
Feel free to shout out the name of your loved one, whether it's your lover, wife, or favorite person.
Furthermore, after activating the special move sound in the Episode 15 version in ③ and ④, the “sealing sound” that is played by pressing the “sound effect button” will also be the Episode 15 version.
You can even recreate the scene where, rather than just throwing the card, he drops it towards Isaka, sealing it away.
Try playing the game while listening to the background music "Roadside Flowers."
Next up...
●If you pull the trigger while performing a combo move, it's possible to play the sound of a special move and the sound of gunfire at the same time!!!
In the fight against Kiryu, after scanning the three cards, there was a famous scene where Kiryu Lengel tried to use the Lengel Rouser remote before the sound of "Burning Divide" was heard, but he was blocked by continuing to fire his gun at him and managed to use his special move.
You can recreate this completely!
Unlike the Bray Rouser, the Garren Rouser will not interrupt the sound even if you press the trigger while the "combo special move sound" is playing. While the combo sound is playing, we have used 2ch playback technology to allow the gunfire sound to play while the special move is playing.
The Kiryu fight sequence above can be recreated using this technique!!
It is now possible to faithfully recreate Garren's three greatest battles - the battle against Isaka, the battle against Kiryu, and the battle against Giraffe - by making full use of sound effects and background music.
Please look forward to it!
Finally, today I'd like to announce a book.
We previously announced the release of the first volume, but starting tomorrow, March 31st (Tuesday), Hobby Japan will begin selling "Heisei KAMEN RIDER NARIKIRI Item Encyclopedia (Volume 2)."
This book covers the 10 works from KAMEN RIDER DOUBLE to KAMEN RIDER ZI-O, and includes a huge collection of our rider NARIKIRI TOYS from the past 10 years, with a focus on DX toys!
This is a highly informative and comprehensive book that is a must-have for Rider toy fans.
I'd love for you to get it!
The issue also includes an interview with myself and Mr. Inoue, who is also involved in the planning and development of Rider's DX products.
Following on from the first volume, the second part of an interview with Kobayashi, the legendary illustrator at PLEX who has been involved in the history of Heisei Rider for a very long time, is also included, so if you're interested in what goes on behind the scenes in toy development, be sure to check it out.
That's all for today's blog.
The next update will be on Monday, April 6th.
Well then!
