CSM Garren Buckle preorder deadline today & preorders are now open for official Izu figures!
Hello everyone. This is Funasen.
Today is the deadline for pre-orders for the CSM Garren Buckle, Rouse Absorber, and Garren Rouser.
We revealed the packaging on our blog last week, and we've read through a variety of opinions, both positive and negative, regarding the back design.
In response to that, my conclusion is,
This time, we have decided to change the design on the back of the package and add one package-sized visual sheet.
After the change, the back side is Garren Jack form.
Here is the design.
This design will be used for all three products.
On the other hand, the visual that was shown as the back of the package in last week's blog will be included as a "visual sheet" that is the same width and height as the package and is made of the same sturdy E-sheet material as the package.
The decision to make this change was made last Tuesday, and it was a very close call, as even a slight delay would have meant that we would not have made it in time for the design and printing periods, so I am glad that we were able to release the design by last week.
The reason I wanted to use the back design before the change was to make use of the large box.
It is often said that the larger CSM boxes are an inconvenient size that makes it difficult to store them, but when Contents, it is of course unavoidable that the packaging will be larger, and depending on the contents, it can be difficult to make the boxes two-tiered.
(Depending on the shape of the contents, a two-tiered container may result in dead space and a larger volume.)
So, I had been thinking for a long time about whether it would be possible to create a design that, because of the size of the box, would allow the user to display the box instead of putting it away, which in itself would lead to play, or become part of recreating a scene (by combining the user with the box).
In that sense, I chose that meaningful scene where he comes face to face with the box.
When you see this scene design in its actual size and place it in a room, the power of the human-sized Garren's gaze is incredible, and I'm sure you'll enjoy the design once it arrives and is put on display.
As I wrote in my blog on March 3rd, this scene is not something that was ridiculed or anything like that, but rather it is one of the reasons why Garren and Tachibana are so beloved, and it is a popular scene with great visual impact that still gets talked about today.
However, that is just my understanding. However, the response to my previous blog post made me realise that posting this scene and how it is perceived can evoke a wide range of emotions from person to person.
(Including the opinion that the Jack Form was simply better.)
So I decided to fix it.
On the other hand, there may be some who think that "the packaging would have been better the way it was last time," but the size of the accompanying visual sheet is the same, so we hope you will understand.
(On the other hand, since it is thin, it can also be used as a poster.)
Furthermore, after looking at the reaction, we found that even if we took into account the unique acceptability of this scene, many people had opinions that showed that the idea of "the packaging also becomes part of the fun," even if only on the back side, was not really desired for this series.
We will use this as a reference for future design production.
In the end, we have added another piece of art to our collection, so I hope you will enjoy handling it when you receive it, regardless of which design it is.
Today is the last day at 11pm, we look forward to your reservations!
Next, I'd like to introduce one more item today.
Pre-orders are already open for the Izu figure officially approved by Tsurushima Noa, called the "Tsurushima Noa Official Izu Figure"!!
The realistic design is possible because the figure is approximately 16cm tall, so it was made in soft vinyl size rather than RKF size.
It looked like it might have become unofficial, but we managed to fix the nail issue, so now it's officially recognized!
Those of you who own this soft vinyl figure will know that the claws on a figure of this size are extremely small, and painting them is quite a difficult task even in the factory, but we are doing our best to mass-produce them in order to meet Mr. Tsurushima's expectations.
Be sure to check out the promotional video featuring Tsurushima-san!
This cute and realistic secretary figurine can be placed on your desk at home or on your desk at work to feel like a real boss.
We look forward to your reservation!!
And finally, the campaign.
From Friday, April 17th to Tuesday, May 5th, we are holding the "#OperationHeroCheeringAtHome" campaign, in which 600 people will be selected every week, for a total of 1,800 people, to win hero and heroine NARIKIRI TOYS.
"#OperationCheeringForHeroesAtHome" is a campaign to support children and those around them who are doing their best to "stay at home".
Starting today, applications will be accepted over three weeks on the special campaign website, and you will be entered into a lottery to win toys from "Kamen Rider KAMEN RIDER ZERO-ONE" "Mashin Sentai Kiramager," and "Healin Good ♥ precure."
[Event period/target toys]
WEEK 1: April 17th (Fri) to 21st (Tue) "Mashin Sentai Kiramager" toys
WEEK 2: April 24th (Fri) to 28th (Tue) "Healin Good ♥ precure" toys
WEEK 3: May 1st (Fri) to 5th (Tue) "KAMEN RIDER ZERO-ONE" toys
When you apply, we will ask you to share your stories about how your children enjoy playing with heroes and heroines at home. Some of the stories you submit will be featured on the campaign's special website and on BANDAI official Twitter account.
As people are spending more time at home these days, I think many families are spending more time playing with toys at home.
If you have children, please apply.
That's all for today's blog.
The next update will be on Monday, April 27th.
Well then!
