Introducing the unique gimmick of the CSM EXA BELT modern mode!

Hello everyone. This is Funasen, the CSM representative.

Thank you very much for your many reservations for the "CSM Exabelt & Exalyzer"!
We are currently accepting preorders for the second shipment, which will be delivered in November.
It will be released at the same time as Shinkocchou Ikusa, so I think it would be a fun way to display them all together.

Well, in today's blog, I would like to take a closer look at the various gimmicks featured in the CSM EXA Belt's "modern mode."
Be sure to check out all the different ways to play, which have evolved significantly since DX!

① You can switch between normal mode and voice mode (with Nago voice)
When you first turn the power on, in addition to turning it on normally, you can also "press and hold the dialogue button while turning the power on to the 2008 side" to start it up in "Nago Voice Mode."
In this mode, Nago's shouts are added to each attack sound, special move sound, etc.
This is a feature that is always included in recent CSM series models that include the character's own voice.

② Improved the stroke of the push-in parts

Improved the stroke of the push-in parts on the part that the hand places when transforming Ixa Knuckle.
As you can see in the image, it is pushed much further inside compared to the DX version.
With the DX version, there is a slight stiffness and my palms can hurt a little, but with the CSM version, I hardly feel any pain.

③ Ixa Knuckle function before transformation

By using the newly added "dialogue button," it is now possible to NARIKIRI play various Ikusas.
(The effect of the BGM button has been omitted in the image above.)

By briefly pressing the trigger, you can play with the shock wave that was released before the transformation in the movie.
If you set it to voice mode, you'll hear the sound of a shock wave along with Nago's shout of "Ha!"
Also, a startup sound will play if you press and hold the trigger.
The startup sound itself did play in the DX version, but it always started after a shockwave sound, and the startup sound repeated while you were pressing it.
This time, we have reviewed that and now even if you press and hold it, the shock wave sound will not be heard, and the startup sound will only be heard once.
By quickly taking it out of your inner pocket and ringing it, you can recreate the start of the transformation sequence from the movie.

By briefly pressing the dialogue button, over 160 different lines will be played in sequence each time you press it.
There is a huge amount of dialogue, so we have added a dialogue skip button this time as well, following on from Garren.
That said, we haven't added any new buttons; the four buttons lined up for pressing the whistle are unused when the belt is not fastened, so we added this function to them.
Each press skips 20 lines.

By pressing and holding the dialogue button, you can select from various transformation patterns for Ixa!
If you press and hold the button, the standby sound will play multiple times, just like when you operate the BGM standby function.

(Do not press the dialogue button) ⇒ Ikusa Save Mode Transformation Sound

(Long press of dialogue button 1) ⇒ Ikusa: Transformation sound from save mode to burst mode

(Long press of dialogue button 2) ⇒ Rising Ixa's direct transformation sound (episode 40 ver.) ※This is the sound from the scene where Ixa explodes!

(Press and hold the dialogue button 3) ⇒ Rising EXA direct transformation sound (episode 40 ver.) *The sound that plays consecutively is "F*ck-o-n-ra-i-j-ing."

(Long press the dialogue button 4) ⇒ Rising EXA direct transformation sound (final episode ver.) ※This sound only plays for Rising EXA.

It is possible to play a total of 5 different transformation sounds!

④ Ixa Knuckle function while waiting to transform

During the transformation standby sound, you can press the dialogue button to hear Nago's call of "Transform!", just like the usual CSM method.
However, if the transformation standby sound is played immediately after playing the lines "This hellish world is overrun with demons...Nago Keisuke is here" and "Every cell in this body is burning with the flames of justice," the call released by this line button will change to "Ikusa, Explosion!"

Another interesting gimmick we've added this time is the "arm waving sound effect"!
Since the trigger switch is open during the standby sound, we added the "bang!" sound effect that occurs when you swing the Ixa Knuckle outward, which plays in parallel with the standby sound.
Now you can play transformation games with more realistic sound effects!

⑤ Ixa Knuckle function after transformation

If you are in save mode, you can play the "burst mode change sound" by briefly pressing the trigger!
Furthermore, if you hold down the trigger, you can play the "Burst Mode transformation sound accompanied by a loud explosion" that was featured in Ixa's first transformation scene!
In addition, if you are in voice mode, just before the sound of the burst mode change occurs, you can hear Nago's voice saying, "Fangire, return your life to God.", adding to the incredible realism.
The voice also has an echo after the transformation. (All lines played in sequence will also have an echo if they were spoken after the transformation in the play.)

When you press the dialogue button and the trigger button at the same time, the "transformation cancellation sound" will play.

Pressing the dialogue button briefly will still play the dialogue in order, but if you press and hold it, the sound "Rising Ixa" will be heard and Ixa Knuckle will recognize it as being in the "Rising Ixa transformed state."
*If you have transformed directly into Rising EXA, you will be in the "Rising EXA transformed state" without having to perform this operation.
The reason we made it possible to do this with button operations even if it wasn't a direct transformation is that when you transform into Rising EXA with the Exalizer, the main body also needs to recognize it as Rising, so we made it possible to independently adjust the state by pressing the buttons.

When in "Rising EXA transformed state", the special move sound that plays when you load a Calibur Whistle will be the Rising EXA version.
We also paid special attention to the sound that is heard when the transformation is cancelled, changing to the special sound seen in episode 30.

Also, although it's not shown in the image, when you remove the knuckles from the belt in the "transformed state" and press the center button that you press when transforming, a "physical impact sound" will play!
I added this because this button is pressed when you hit directly with the Ixa Knuckle.
Normally, you would say "Duxi! Duxi!" in your own voice, but with this audio you don't have to.
However, when you actually play, please refrain from hitting other people with the Ixa Knuckle. I recommend using it on your own upper arm or other parts of your body.
In voice mode, Nago's shouts are also heard.

⑥ The sound of the whistle
When you load each whistle, the same sound effects as in the movie will be played.
If you load a Powered Whistle, the sound of the Powered Ixa moving will ring out for a fairly long period of time, and the special move sound of the Calibur Whistle mentioned above is the same as in the movie, with separate audio for normal Ixa and Rising Ixa.
(In Rising EXA, EXA Judgment was activated without the Whistle being loaded for presentation purposes, but in the toy version, it is activated by loading the Whistle.)

And three fake whistles.
In the play, only Garuru Fake was loaded.
This has the effect of taking away Kiva's weapon, so to express that, we have included sound effects and Kivat's confused lines, "Huh?! Ah, why?? Ahh!!! That stupid wolf!", just like in the movie!
Of course, it's the voice of Tomokazu Sugita. (This was also recorded during the recording of Kivat.)
The Basherfake and Doggafake were not used in the film, but each has a similarly perplexing line from Kivat added to them.
By the way, there is also a version that does not feature Kivat's voice, but only the sound effects, and there is a 1/2 chance that either will be heard.

That's all for today's blog.
The next update will be on Monday, June 8th.
Next time we'll feature past modes!

Well then!
