A new project was announced today!

"COMPLETE SELECTION MODIFICATION Project Arc from KAMEN RIDER GAIM" has begun!



Not Lord Ark, but the Ark from the Plan (who is also a dangerous guy).
I'm not talking about Saber, but the rider who has Savior.
To celebrate the production of the new Gaim Gaiden film, announced last month, CSM is finally diving into Gaim!
Today's blog is about this, and we would like to bring you a happy report from Asakusa, Oedo.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the teaser page, you will see the words "CSM SENGOKU DRIVER "!
Including Gaim Gaiden, there is some new Gaim content every year, so it feels like not much time has passed, but in fact this year marks Gaim's 7th anniversary!
When the CSM OOO DRIVER was announced, it was also the seventh anniversary of the broadcast of OOO, so it wasn't a quick turnaround until it was commercialized, and in fact a surprising amount of time has passed.

The DX SENGOKU DRIVER was originally a highly-finished product, but from the perspective of "recreating the scenes from the movie," there is still a lot that can be included.
We are currently rewatching the show and putting together the gimmick program, so please look forward to SENGOKU DRIVER and Lockseed that we will be creating after looking back at the show!

...As I mentioned above, this was a project announcement, but on the teaser page there was a logo called "CSM Project Ark", which has CSM in it, but is not a product name.
This time, we are not just going to "commercialize SENGOKU DRIVER," but will proceed as a medium- to long-term initiative, not a one-time project.
We have decided to borrow a name from the movie and name the project "CSM Project Ark."

Because of that number of Lockseeds!
And considering that the price per unit for DX was 1,500 yen (excluding tax) at the time, it was not possible to sell it as a full set like the "CSM OOO DRIVER Complete Set."
If we were to spend it all at once, it would kill everyone's wallets and our bodies too. That's why this is a mid- to long-term project.

*By the way, this does not mean that "from now on, we will only be releasing products based on Gaim," so fans of other works can rest assured.

Now, this is just a little side story, but when Gaim was being broadcast, I was in the Gashapon department and was developing Capsule Lockseeds and various Gaim Gashapon products.
My boss at the time was in charge of the "Freshly Picked Gashapon Campaign."
I remember looking at the Suzuki Yamato Arms from the side and being astonished and impressed by how completely crazy it was in so many ways.
Building a name-reading synthesis system and recording transformation sounds not only for "Tokyo Oedo Happy" but for all 47 prefectures - when I think about it now, it's not the kind of effort or cost that would be spent on a Gashapon campaign.
No sane person would do this. Audio from a prefecture where no one has won will never see the light of day.
This is my second favorite commercial out of all the BANDAI commercials, the first being the Ghost KAMEN RIDER Gummy. Heyyo!
