Reservations for the "CSM Birth Driver & X Unit" will begin today at 4pm!!
In addition to the three products announced in the teaser, a total of five products will be available.




① "CSM Birth Driver & X Unit"


This is a complete set of Birth's role-playing, which even includes the "X Unit," which is part of the "KAMEN RIDER Driver X," a belt that allows Birth to transform into his powered-up form, "Kamen Rider Birth X," which appeared in "Core Medal NARIKIRI"!
In the movie, it appears as a single completed belt known as the "Birth Driver X," but for the toy it has been made as a detachable part known as the "X Unit" so that it can be transformed into the regular Birth Driver.
CSM is basically created as a DX remake, but this is the third one to be commercialized as a new HENSHIN BELT, following the Diend Belt and NEW DEN-O BELT.

The detailed gimmick will be explained in the second half of the blog.
First, let me start by introducing the full set of products that will be released this time.

② "CSM Birth Driver & X Unit Blu-ray Special Set"


This product set includes special effects Disc "KAMEN RIDER Rider Birth: The Secret Story of the Birth of Birth-X," "Online Version KAMEN RIDER OOO The Resurrection of the Core Medal - Prologue," and "Online Version of KAMEN RIDER OOO The Birth of Birth-X - Prologue," all of which were distributed by the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club.
A similar Blu-ray set was previously released as the "CSM Lockseed Charmon Set," and this product has the same concept.
If you are also collecting OOO video media, you should definitely check out this set!

③ "CSM Birth Driver"


This is just a simple Birth Driver without the X-Unit or Core Medals.
This item perfectly recreates the NARIKIRI playing experience of Bath from the TV series.
The medals that come with it also have a CLAWs scorpion design, so I chose three crustacean designs.

④ "CSM Cell Medal"


This is a resale of a product released in 2020. The decision to resell it was made because Birth Driver will be releasing it.
If you missed out on buying it two years ago, don't miss this chance!

⑤ "CSM OOO DRIVER Buckle for DISPLAY"


I'm sure many of you are wondering what this is, so let's take a closer look!
This is a heavily painted version of the "CSM OOO DRIVER ver.10th" with only the "center buckle" part painted on.
This has been the case since the CSM OOO DRIVER released in 2018, but since the central buckle will be hit with great force by the OOO Scanner, it was necessary to leave the black part in the molded color.
Otherwise the paint will get scratched. The same goes for "ver.10th".

I try to paint the CSM as much as possible, but OOO DRIVER is the only one that has the most visible front color molded in, which makes it look slightly inferior in texture when lined up with other CSM belts.
In the survey for the 2018 product, we also received the comment that "the buckle looks cheap," and this was something that could not be improved upon.

However, we realized that if the only purpose was to display it and not play around with it, it would be fine to paint it, so we came up with this product.
When playing with the transformation, please use the part that originally comes with OOO DRIVER, and when you're done playing and want to display it in your room, you can switch to this part to make it look great on display.
This product is intended for those who like to keep their CSM on display rather than putting it away.

*This is a display-only product, so please do not play with it. In fact, it does not have an ID tag to complete the transformation, so it cannot be transformed.
*The official name of this part in the setting is "Authorizer," but since I think many people don't know what it means, I chose this name as an easy-to-understand product name.


Above is a brief introduction of the differences between the five products.
Now onto the main topic: introducing the CSM Birth Driver!


-Various audio recordings are included to recreate the audio effects in the movie!
Compared to OOO DRIVER, the Birth Driver is a HENSHIN BELT that is simpler in terms of sound, but it reproduces the visual effects as much as possible and is a belt with plenty of volume.

"The sound of Date-san flicking and catching the medal."
"The sound of the medal being set (with the echo from the movie version)"
"Long version of the transformation sound"
"Sounds of various weapons being equipped"
Added "unique attack sounds and sound effects for each weapon" and more.

The "standby sound" was not featured in the movie, so it has been omitted, allowing you to transform and arm yourself just like in the movie.
(You can also choose to have it ring.)

Also, because the Birth Driver is a belt that is physically worn like DEN-O BELT Belt, we've added a gimmick to it, just like with the CSM DEN-O BELT: "A new switch has been added to the attachment point of the belt, which makes it possible to play a sound when it is put on!"​

There is still more to be done with the switch.
There is a lock and jump part that acts as a stopper to prevent the medal from flying out, and here too there is a built-in switch. (The part circled in red below)
When you remove the medal after performing a specific operation, a "transformation cancellation sound" will play.



With DX, if you leave it alone for a certain period of time, a sound will play to cancel the transformation, but with CSM, the program production is faithfully reproduced.

-You can select and activate any CLAWs weapon you like!
I'm sure this is a feature you've all been waiting for!
In the DX version, the weapon sounds played in sequence, but in the CSM, you can select using the "sound effect button" added to the top, making it possible to play the sound of the desired weapon in one go.



What's more, by using the advance reservation selection function, you can equip multiple weapons at the same time, such as inserting a medal and spinning it ⇒ "Crane arm (just say the name)" ⇒ inserting another medal and spinning it ⇒ "Drill arm" ⇒ "Simultaneous arming sound​ ​for all weapons"!

Of course, the performances related to "Birthday" and "CLAWs Scorpion" are also included!

Includes lines from Date and Goto!
These two always use the honorific "san" when referring to them.
It includes the best big brother parts, Date-san's playful and cool lines, and many lines that show Goto-san's growth from the first episode to the final episode.
If you start the game in dialogue mode, dialogue will be added to the attack and special move sounds.

Now let's introduce "Birth Driver X"!


As this is a new item, there are many unknowns, but we will introduce it in detail.
​The "X Unit" that comes with this product has the same "individual medal identification scanning function" as the O-Scanner.
As shown in the product introduction PV, when you set a medal, the name of the medal is read out, and just like OOO, you need to insert three medals to transform.
Basically, the transformation is done using three cards: "Shrimp (newly created)", "Crab (newly created)", and "Scorpion (newly created)".
At the end of the transformation sound, it says "Sokabi", which is achieved by adding shrimp, crab, and scorpion in that order, so that from top to bottom it is scorpion, crab, shrimp.The three are lined up vertically in the opposite order to OOO's combo, so if it says "Bikaso", it becomes "Sokabi".
The medals that formed the legs in OOO form the head in Birth X.

After transforming, remove the medal from the X-Unit, then insert it back into the X-Unit and turn the handle to activate the armament of the top core medal.
In the work, by bringing the "crab" to the top, the "Crab Arm" is armed and the special move "Crab Core Burst" is activated.
If you activate this on the "Scorpion" which corresponds to the head, the "Scorpion Cannon" will be armed. If you activate this on the "Shrimp" which corresponds to the legs, the "Shrimp Legs" will be armed.

It is armed with a cannon on the head, arms, and legs.
The name is based on the original CLAWs name.

Furthermore, the special move that is unleashed after all three weapons are activated is called "Sokabi Core Burst," and the combo name is "Sokabi Core Burst."

The transformation can be cancelled by removing three medals in succession.
On the other hand, if you want to arm yourself, you will need to remove them one by one and then insert them on top, rather than removing all three.


Well... the good thing about toys is that you can play in original ways that aren't done in the movie.
Although Birth X had few effects in "Resurrection of the Core Medals," you can still play in the same way as if you had used other Core Medals.
This time, we've made it so that all Core Medals can be read, and with the goal of making it a fun toy, we've added a lot of depth to the parts that aren't drawn!
As shown in the product introduction PV, all of the Core Medals included with the "CSM OOO DRIVER Complete Set ver. 10th" can be scanned, and by transforming using the same three medals as OOO's combo, the final phrase of the transformation sound will change to that of that combo.

Gatakiriba ⇒ Bakirigata
Tajadol ⇒ Doljata
Seishirogin ⇒ Ginshirosei
The names are made by arranging the three medals in reverse order.
Of course, each one comes with its own unique weapon and special move!

*By the way, when you transform using a sub-species combination, the transformation sound will of course be missing the final combo name phrase.

If you already own the "CSM OOO DRIVER ver.10th," we highly recommend the version that comes with the "X Unit"!
Looking back at the DX OOO toys, there were actually no scanning gimmicks other than the OOO Scanner, so the expandability of the collection items was less than that of later Rider items (the only linkage was to "put a medal in."),​ ​but now, for the first time, it has the expandability to scan other items as well!
Please use these items to have fun playing with Oh Medal!
