Additional information on Century King Sun Driver released & second order period begins!!
Hello everyone. This is Funasen, the CSM representative.
This week's update was over the weekend, but starting today, the second round of orders for the "CSM HENSHIN BELT Century King Sun Driver" has begun!
Accordingly, we have also updated the product specifications page, so we will introduce it in detail in today's blog.
(This post contains spoilers, so if you haven't seen the original yet, be careful.)
Now that a month has passed since the release, we would like to introduce some more specific gimmicks related to the production.
First of all, we've updated the button roles.
The page has been changed from before the update to the following:
● Changed the "dialogue button" to "transformation/attack button"
● Changed the original "BGM button" to "Dialogue button"
● The button on the bottom that was not explained last time (originally intended to be the transformation/attack button) has been changed to the "BGM button"
As development progressed, we changed it to make it easier to use.
Next, more detailed specifications:
●The Rider transformation sounds are available in three different versions from episodes 5, 7, and 10, while the Locust Monster transformation sounds are available in two different versions: a standard version and a version from episode 1!
You can select a variation by pressing the "transformation/attack button" and the "dialogue button" simultaneously.
When you briefly press the "Transform/Attack Button", after a one second pause, the "fist clenching sound" followed by the "belt appearing sound" will be heard, and then by reacting with the transformation pose by the sensor, the transformation sound of the "Rider" from the selected episode will be played.
(The one second interval is included to create a time lag between pressing the button and the physical movement required to strike a pose.)
During the transformation pose, the sensors are turned ON ⇒ OFF ⇒ ON ⇒ OFF, and the sound is triggered by this reaction.
When you press and hold the "Transform/Attack Button", the "belt appearance sound" will play, and then when the sensor reacts, the sound of the "Black Lord Locust Monster" transformation will play for the story you selected.
This one activates the transformation sound when you turn the sensor ON and then OFF once. The transformation sound will start if you growl and spread your arms out in front of the belt, as if you are roaring.
●The "sword pulling sound" is limited to a maximum of two times after the power is turned on!
After transforming, if you briefly press the "Transform/Attack Button" an attack sound will play.
If you press and hold this button, the "sword pulling sound" will play, and if you then press the button briefly, the sword clash sound will play; however, in order to faithfully reproduce the setting of the game, this "sword pulling sound" will only play a maximum of two times after the power is turned on.
So, for example, although this isn't done in the movie, if you transform into a monster once, peel off the sword twice, then detransform, and then transform back into a rider, the sound of the sword peeling off will no longer be heard.
Also, if you remove the sword and transform again, the sword will have been discarded in the previous transformation, so even when you transform again, the button will revert to the normal attack sound.
These limitations actually make it a fun toy.
●Includes audio from the "resurrection scene" from episode 9!
BLACK SUN is revived by pouring the essence of the whale monster over him. His belt finally opens and he is revived.
Since there was a belt performance, we also recorded a series of audio for this, so you can enjoy the revival play.
This is a game for connoisseurs and enthusiasts, but we encourage you to try it out while lying in bed and have fun.
●The Rider Kick from the final episode is recreated using sensors!
When transformed into a Rider, if you pull the sword away twice and then continue to press and hold the button, the introductory sound for the "Rider Kick Sequence" will play.
When doing so, just like in the movie, if you hold your hands over both sides of the belt, two sensors installed on the belt will react and a "charge sound" will be activated.
When you release your hand from the sensor, the "Rider Kick special move sound" will then be heard.
The sensors can be used not only for transformation but also for special moves, which makes it a lot of fun.
And finally···
-Also includes audio related to the Black Genesis King!
This would be a final spoiler, so I won't go into detail about the features, but we have recorded a lot of audio related to this.
This is something to look forward to once it arrives!
Furthermore, today we will also be revealing the package design!!
Here's the front page!
Just a cool BLACK SUN! This is a clenched fist pose. Behind it is an image of a solar eclipse.
And here's the back side!
BLACK SUN sideways! This looks like they're fighting!
Yes, this is designed to link with the packaging of the upcoming "Century King Moon Driver"!
The front side has a symmetrical design to the Moon Driver, so be sure to purchase them together!
And this time, that's not all... it also comes with a sleeve to cover the package!
Here's the cover!
The website features a large image of Hidetoshi Nishijima's "Kotaro Minami teaser visual"! It's a very stylish design.
The back side...
BLACK SUN appears from the mist! We have published a large photo of BLACK SUN that you rarely see in other media!
This time, in order to connect the packaging with Shadow Moon, we included a sleeve to remove various markings, but due to various connections we were given permission to use Nishijima-san's visuals, so we were able to create a cool sleeve design.
I hope you enjoy both.
That's all for today's blog. The next update will be on 12/6.
See you next time!
