KAMEN RIDER OOO

The next CSM lineup announcement date is...

Hello everyone. I'm Funasen, in charge of CSM development.

This may seem sudden, but the date for announcing the lineup for CSM's next release has been decided!
It's Thursday, June 7th!

This is merely an announcement of what will be released as a product (i.e. a teaser announcement), so actual pre-orders will begin after that, and we ask that you please wait a little longer!
Well, in today's blog, I would like to show you some images of a pre-production sample of OOO DRIVER itself.
First, the overall photo.

As always, just changing the belt can make it look much more authentic!
Next, I'd like you to take a look at this photo:

Look at where the red arrow is pointing. This protrusion is the unlock button to return OOO DRIVER to a horizontal position, but compared to the DX version, it protrudes less and is at the same height as the other two buttons.
The central buckle uses the same mold as the DX version because the medal size is the same; however, the height of this protrusion is not balanced as it is on the DX version, so we created a new part to make the height even.
(At the time, we made it higher to make it easier to understand that it was a release button.)

The inking is also done perfectly.

The Omedal Nest was designed to fit the obi of the DX version, so it was redesigned to fit the obi. The details were also re-carved to fit the suit prop.
In the prop used in the film, the loop that passes through the obi was clearly made with a thin shape, so the design could not be reproduced using the nylon Velcro that we normally use at CSM.
Therefore, by using the design shown below, we were able to achieve both a good appearance and ease of installation.

Next is the scanner holder. Since the prop appearance is the same as the DX version, we used the mold from the DX version.
The car is fully painted except for the surfaces that will be scratched when the Auto Scanner is attached and removed.

However, the attachment method is the usual nylon Velcro type so that it can be used with the CSM belt.
(In the movie, the prop has a thin plate of the holder attached, but this cannot be reproduced in the toy, so we decided to use this specification.)

Lastly, there's the Auscanner.

In order to incorporate the gimmick, this figure has been completely redesigned to match the suit prop design after transformation.
*The size is the same as the DX version.
Another thing to pay attention to is the LED light-emitting part, which was made out of clear plastic at the time.
This time, we painted that area silver, similar to the appearance of the prop in the movie.
(The props used in the film actually have holographic stickers attached to the inside that glow in seven different colors depending on the angle of the light, but this would have obscured the LEDs, so we didn't use them.)
This silver is transparent to the LED, so when you turn on the LED you can see the light clearly, as in the image below!

OOO DRIVER itself has been powered up from the DX version in these ways!
That's all for today's update.
The next update will be on Monday, May 21. Next week we will introduce samples of the O-medal and compare them with past products.
See you next time!
