CSM Century King Moon Driver and Zero One high spec range preorders start today!
Hello everyone. This is Funasen, in charge of CSM planning and development.
HENSHIN BELT of KAMEN RIDER SHADOW MOON has been released along with the event "Tokyo Toy Show 2023" which starts today!
"CSM HENSHIN BELT Century King Moon Driver"!!

This belt is a counterpart to the "Century King Sun Driver," and the gimmicks installed on it have been created to be an appropriate match.
Point 1: Automatic three-dimensional deformation in the depth direction
While the Sun Driver was able to move in various directions within its flat structure, the Moon Driver was equipped with a mechanism that allowed it to boldly transform in the "depth direction."
The long wings that extend on all four sides rotate 180 degrees and close towards the center, significantly changing the silhouette of the belt before and after the transformation, resulting in an even greater visual change than the Sun Driver.
And the best part is the spherical part in the middle. This rotates 180 degrees at a very fast speed, and then the center lights up, making for an interesting transformation that makes you wonder for a moment, "What kind of structure is this?" (The prototype in Nakamura's interview video was made in September 2022, and the rotation speed here is slow, but the actual product is as fast as it is in the movie. Please refer to the product introduction PV.)
As a result, the design, which is almost completely black before transformation, closes and comes together after transformation, creating a visual that is a mixture of green and black, resembling "THE belt."
This design was also born from a heated discussion between the belt designer and Shinji Higuchi. This bold transformation structure was born from the passion to do something even more interesting with the Sun Driver, which had become a transformation of a flat structure.
The transformation pose is symmetrical to Black Sun's, so the transformation begins when it is detected by a sensor mounted on the right half of the top body.
It is activated by turning the sensor on and off twice in accordance with the transformation pose, and the sound of the arms swinging in time with the movement also makes it feel like it is responding properly to your pose.
In the interview PV with Nakamura Tomoya released today, he said that "the wing on HENSHIN BELT broke during filming," but please rest assured that the toy is fine.
As shown in the image below, the base of the four wings are joined together, and when pressure is applied they come detached from here and can be reattached with a simple snap.
Point 2: Contains over 30 lines from Nakamura Tomoya!
We recorded many lines from Tomoya Nakamura, who plays Nobuhiko Akizuki! He's incredibly sexy.
Speaking of Nobuhiko's lines, his speeches in episodes 3, 8, and 9 are particularly memorable, and these are also included in the recording.
In addition, the soundtracks add to the excitement. The soundtrack "SHADOW MOON" is a familiar piece from the speech scene and the transformation scene in episode 8, and is a Shadow Moon exclusive song. I think it's a masterpiece that rivals the soundtrack "BLACK SUN" from Sundriver.
It's super fun to play this, recite the lines from the speech (or say them yourself) and play around with transformations, so I hope you'll try recreating it!
Point 3: Includes a variety of exclusive sound effects!
Following on from the Sun Driver, this release also includes numerous unique sound effects that allow you to recreate Shadow Moon's detailed actions.
Two versions of the transformation sound of the Silver Lord Locust Monster are included, from episodes 1 and 3.
KAMEN RIDER SHADOW MOON includes two versions of the transformation sounds from episode 8 and three versions from episode 10.
Up to this point, it is no different from the Sun Driver in terms of type, but this time Shadow Moon also includes a different sequence: the ability to transform from monster form into a Rider.
The sound effects recreate the shocking scene at the end of episode 7, when Igaki awakens and transforms into a rider for the first time! (The BGM from that scene is also included.)
In episode 10, when they both transform at the same time, they start to take their transformation poses at the same time in the show, but halfway through, the screen switches to Black Sun and Shadow Moon individually, and the pose and transformation sounds play in turn.
However, with a toy as a standalone item, it is not possible to create silence while the other person's sound is playing. (Also, for the sake of the film's direction, the cuts were divided and the sounds were played in sequence, but if the scenes in the film were actually being played, it would be assumed that the sounds of both characters' transformation poses and transformations would all be played at the same time.)
These two CSM products have been adapted for toys, and each sound has been edited so that it plays as a continuous transformation sound from Episode 10 without any pause.
In addition, when the transformation sound from Episode 10 is activated using both belts at the same time, the "energy charging sound" and "facial transformation sound" at the end of the transformation sound have been adjusted so that they play at the same time for both Black Sun and Shadow Moon.
The CSM Sun Driver's transformation sound from episode 10 was recorded in advance along with the Moon Driver's transformation sound from episode 10, both of which were edited together.
The shoulder sword drawing gimmick and the number of times limit are the same as the Sun Driver. In addition to the "strike attack sound" for the attack sound before drawing the sword, the attack sound by "telekinesis" similar to the power of the Genesis King is also recorded.
Furthermore, in the Sun Driver, you can perform the Rider Kick sequence by holding down the attack button after drawing the sword twice, but in the Moon Driver, the same operation can be used to achieve the powerful telekinetic powers seen in episode 10 when the eyes glow.
In the movie, he is shown stretching out both hands towards his opponent and strangling him with a transparent aura.
The two sensors located on the top of the belt detect the outstretched arms, allowing you to enjoy NARIKIRI-playing by activating telekinesis just by posing!
This is a really fun toy that captures the charm of Shadow Moon from all 10 episodes, so be sure to pick it up and play with it while rewatching the series! I hope you and a friend can share the role of Sun Driver and have fun transforming together like in the 10 episodes.
In addition to the Moondriver, we will also be releasing the "Display Base ver.2 (SILVER)"!
The base is molded in Shadow Moon's personal color, silver. This time, it is not the dedicated base that was released for BLACK SUN, but it is a more versatile product.
(I was looking for a mark for Shadow Moon, but the infinity mark I had spray painted on Goryu Goroku's flag looked really strange when I extracted just that part, and there was also the Golgom flag with a sun-like mark, but it didn't make much of an impression on me throughout the series, and I couldn't find anything that really fit the base, so I went with no mark.)
The Moon Driver is completely black, so I think it looks better on this base than on the black base.
I think this belt will stand out against all-black rider belts from other works, so I hope you will check your collection and find one that suits you.

DISIRE DRIVER obi has been very well received, so we would like to continue developing this "High Pec Belt Obi" in the future, mainly targeting recent works that are not yet ready to be made into CSM.
In addition, the price of this product is higher than that of the "DISIRE DRIVER Range."
The actual final cost of the "DISIRE DRIVER" range turned out to be higher than initially estimated, so we have reconsidered and set the price again.
