We would like to introduce the "CSG Zanbat Sword", which is available for order from 4:00 pm today.


First of all, let's talk about the process behind releasing it in CSG. As explained in the development blog for the launch of the "CSG" series, CSG is defined as "a stand-alone weapon that is not linked to HENSHIN BELT or collection item."
The Zanbat Sword is equipped with a "Wake Up Fessle (Zanbat Bat)", so isn't it different from the original definition? Some people may have thought so.
However, "Wake Up Fessle (Zanbat Bat)" is already attached to the already released "CSM Tatsurot", and if you match the scale of the sword to this size, it will be the same size as the DX, so CSG We decided to develop the brand on a unique scale.

Along with this, the "Wake Up Fessle (Zanbat Bat)" that comes with this product is of a different size, so it will not work with the "CSM KIVAT BELT". (Please use the one that comes with Tatsurot as is.) We are proceeding with development to make the most of the charm of the Zanbat Sword itself.

The following are the main points of this product.

●About product size
First, I would like to introduce the most important selling point of the CSG brand: size.
We actually measured the prop in the play, and took into consideration the weight of the toy (not too heavy) and the sense of balance when holding the Zanbat Sword. The size is approximately 93cm.
I personally received a sample of the product, which is still in development, and I feel that it is a large product that is quite impressive even for an adult to hold.
 
 
If held by a person not wearing a suit, the balance would be about the same as the balance held by the hero in the movie.

Also, when compared to the CSG Titan Sword, the Zanbat Sword is slightly longer than the transformed Titan Sword. (Actually, it's about 3cm long.)


As for the included Wake Up Fessle (Zanbat Bat), as mentioned above, it does not work with the CSM KIVAT BELT, so its size matches the size of the Zanbat Sword itself. It has quite a presence compared to the CSM and DX versions.
The CSG version is magnetically fixed to the Zanbat sword. By not attaching the mating pin, there is no effect on the model when it is removed.

●About modeling
It was designed with attention to even the smallest details based on the props from the movie. The shape of the vine on the grip, the handle of Zanbat's wings, the bat handle of the blade, etc., were designed to be as close to the movie as possible while keeping in mind the balance of the product as a whole, so we'd like you to see it for yourself.
 
 

What was extremely difficult during the development stage was the holo part of the blade.
In the movie, it looks like there is something like a holo sticker pasted on the bat handle of the sword blade, but when we tried to recreate it in real life, we found that it was quite difficult. The reason for this is its relationship with luminescence.
This is the first product in KAMEN RIDER 's CSG series to be equipped with a light-emitting gimmick. For example, if a holo sticker is pasted on the blade, when the blade emits light, only the pasted part will not transmit light and become a silhouette. It will look like this, and the light emission from the blade will be almost invisible. In the video work, the light emission was CG composited and added light from above, so there was no problem.
For this reason, there was a debate about whether to give priority to the appearance when the light does not emit light or the appearance when the light is emitted, but we decided to prioritize the fun of the toy over the reproducibility of the appearance, and decided to adopt the light emitting light. did.

●About light emission
The light emission is still in the development stage, but it is planned to look like the image below.
However, since it is still in the middle of development, I would like to continue making improvements and improvements to make the light emit even more beautiful, such as adjusting the color of the internal milky white parts and adding texture to the back of the blade. I'm here.

Also, regarding the movement of the light, it was originally ideal that the light would emit light gradually according to the movement of the Zanbatbat, but in that case, the detection switch should be turned on the LED over the entire groove of the blade. Since we had to build it in for only a few minutes, which was difficult due to the design structure, we designed this product to emit light using two detection switches, one at the tip and the other at the base.
Therefore, this product emits light according to the sound, so please enjoy NARIKIRI play while sliding the Zanbat Bat in time with the sound and light emission.


●About audio
We plan to include basic sound effects such as slashing sounds and special move sounds related to Zanbat Sword.
It also includes many sound effects from the play that were not available in toys at the time, such as the sound of Watari running wild when he picks up the Zanbat Sword.

The CSM Dark KIVAT BELT, which is currently available for pre-order, includes King's lines, so when you receive both items, please try playing along with them.

Furthermore, the special move sound of "Final Zanbat Slash" when used by MASKED RIDER KIVA has two patterns in the play, when the slide speed is slow and fast when polishing the Zanbat bat and charging the power, Part 2 Pattern sound effects will also be included.
In addition, the size of the wake-up fuessuru that comes with CSG does not link with the belt, so if you enjoy NARIKIRI play similar to the one in the movie, you can switch between the wake-up fuessuru (zabat bat) that comes with the CSM KIVAT BELT and CSM Tatsurot together. Please play with it.

●About the gimmick
Zanbat Sword can change into two forms: when it is used by Watari, and when it is used by King.
Zanbat Bat is removable, and when removing it, part of the decoration on the tip of the sword is a button, so you can remove it by pressing the button and pulling out the tip of the sword. This allows Zanbat Sword to return to its original form.

Please note that Zanbat Bat itself does not have built-in electrical system functions such as detection switches or LEDs, so when in King mode, we are planning to make sound effects play when you press the button or power switch. . (Currently under development.)


●About price
This time, the price of Zanbat Sword was nearly 40,000 yen, and there are several reasons why the price has increased so much, so I will explain them.
It goes without saying that the recent depreciation of the yen has had an impact, but the reason for this is the large size of the product and the fact that all parts are painted for that large size.
The most expensive part of toy production is not the number of voices, but the size of the main body, the number of parts, the number of paints, and the range of paint, and Zanbat Sword is anyway large in size, and since it is a brand called CSG, the molding color is exposed. This price is based on the fact that it is completely painted, and the Zanbat bat, which is a separate part, is quite detailed.
We didn't want to make the product a half-baked size for a product that focused on size, we didn't want to give up on the light-emitting gimmick, and above all, we took advantage of this one-time opportunity to re-merchandise Zanbat Sword. We do not want to make the specifications insufficient, and as a result we have decided on the current price.
