Delta Gear: First molded product revealed

Hello everyone, this is Funasen, the CSM representative.

Today's CSM blog is...
Here are some photos of the first Delta Gear molded product!!

In the development blog so far, we haven't shown many photos of this unpainted product in development, but we will be posting photos of the Delta Gear as it progresses. (It just arrived today.)

Completed toys such as CSM and DX are also molded with each part attached to a "runner," similar to what we're used to seeing with Gunpla.
The above photo shows the parts separated and assembled.

Once the design data is uploaded and we start carving the mold, it takes about one and a half to two months before we can finally check the first molded product.

from here,
●Are the details different from the data?
●Is the movement loose or stiff?
● Are the joints of the parts properly aligned and are there any gaps?
●Are there any sink marks (small dents)?
Is there a problem with the strength?
●Is there any damage to the surface? (=Are there any scratches on the mold?)
●We check whether the molding color is correct and make corrections to the mold.

At first glance, some of the molding colors seem to be incorrect, so we will be correcting this later.

Please take a look at this photo to see what has changed in appearance from the DX model.

Neither the phone nor the mover have screw holes on the back.
All parts are equipped with cover parts to hide the screws.

Also, please pay attention to the difference in the shape of the Deltaphone! The curve of the grip is different from the DX, and is at a steeper angle relative to the muzzle.
This is of course to match the prop design, and the feel when firing the gun should also be different.

Next is the buckle. Please see the image below.

The Faiz Gear buckle had a dividing line running down the center of the top.
The "parting line" that is inevitably created when fitting the front and rear parts together was also there in the DX version.
With this CSM, we didn't want this line to appear, so we reviewed the division structure and came up with a structure design without any lines, as you can see in the photo!
In more recent items, the dividing line has been moved to the back, just like ARCLE.

Finally, the Delta Mover.
The buttons that are exposed when the lid is opened are all made of rubber!

It is made of the same material as the rubber buttons used on the Faizphone.
This time, pressing this button will not activate any gimmick. The reason is that the electronic components cannot be placed behind the button due to the expansion and contraction of the mover. (I explained this in a previous blog post.)

However, we made it this way simply because we wanted to improve the texture of the item.
Not just the gimmicks, but also displaying, looking at, and caressing are all ways to enjoy items for adults, so we hope you will look forward to that as well.

That's all for today's blog.
I plan to continue posting photos of the development process like this.

The next update will be on Monday, May 27th.
Well then!
