Regarding the audio specifications and total recording time of Kivat-Bat IV
Hello everyone. I'm Funasen, forever 34 years old.
In today's blog, we will be featuring the "Kivat-Bat IV" mode, which is achieved by switching the modes of KIVAT BELT!
Before that, let's talk about the audio time built into this product.
The audio recorded on KIVAT BELT is...
Number of lines for Kivat: Approximately 300!
(Including sounds that can only be played by communicating with Tatsurot.)
CSM DEN-O BELT & Keitaros contains a combined total of 280 audio recordings of the seven Imagins, including DEN-O BELT and Keitaros.
This time, the lines from Kivat alone (including King IV) are included, totaling approximately 300 lines, surpassing all of the above.
And the total voice time, including not only the dialogue but also the background music and various system sounds, is...
A total of about 38 minutes = 2,280 seconds!!
One TV episode is about 24 minutes long, so the audio recorded is 1.5 times that length.
This is the longest recording time item in the CSM series to date.
In fact, I don't think there are any other toys, not just CSM, that have this much audio.
DEN-O BELT and Cataros had a combined total of about 26 minutes of audio built into them, but this time, Kivat alone far surpasses that.
With this product, for the first time, we are able to use the latest ICs that were not available in previous products, which has enabled us to greatly increase the maximum audio capacity, allowing us to record the longest audio possible while maintaining the same level of sound quality (of course, this is also reflected in the cost).
By the way, the length of recorded audio for ZIKU-DRIVER itself, which was featured in the "Until ZIKU-DRIVER is Made" corner of last month's CSM event, was 112 seconds.
Of course, it will be a little longer if we include the audio attached to the Ride Watch, but this Kivat still contains 20 times as much audio as the main unit.
It will probably take quite a while to play through it, but I can confidently say that it is a masterpiece that you will enjoy for a long time.
Now, let's get into the details about the main subject, "Kivat-Bat IV Mode"!
When turning the power on, press and hold the "sound effect button" on the right ear while turning the power on.
Along with the startup sound, "I am Kivat-Bat IV!"
① All Kiva Form LEDs have been changed to "white"!
The eyes of the IVth Emperor are white, just as they are depicted in the film.
② Includes many original lines!
In the video, the only line he says is "Yay! It's a festival, it's a festival!", but in order to make it viable as a toy, we have included several new original lines.
As with the startup sound mentioned above, we asked Sugita to create the character of Life IV as a result of this product.
The first person pronoun is "boku", and they call their father and grandfather, etc.
For the newly recorded phrases, we used phrases such as "Let's go, Masao!" and "Neo Fangire, here it comes!", which were based on the calls that Emperor III makes to Watari, and were recorded in a style unique to Emperor IV.
Among them, in order to express the "bond between parent and child," the main theme of "MASKED RIDER KIVA" for the Kivat family, we have included lines from the son (Kamen Rider IV) to his father (Kamen Rider III), as well as lines addressed to his grandfather (Kamen Rider II).
It includes lines from World IV such as "Dad, I came to see you from the future!", "Dad, let's fight together!" and "Grandpa! I missed you!"
On the other hand, the III mode also includes lines from the player (III) to his son (IV), as well as original lines from the player (III) to his father (II).
You'll have to buy the game to find out what the lines are saying...
3) All system words have been changed to the World IV version!
Not only the Whistle lines such as "Wake up!" and "Garuru Saber!", but also the special move "Garuru Bite!" and the "Gabu" sound when opening his mouth, all of the so-called system voice lines will be changed to those used in World IV.
When you load Tatsurot Fustle, it will summon you by saying "Tatsurot senpai!"
Its responses to voice input also change, so if you call out "Kivat!" it will respond with a random line such as "Yay! It's a festival, a festival!"
*However, in World IV mode, the only variation for voice input words is "Kivat!"
Finally, the voice recognition system.
This is compatible with both the III and IV generations, and like the Delta Gear, it is equipped with a "pseudo voice recognition mode."
If you turn the power on while pressing the "BGM button" on the left ear, any line will be considered as saying "Kivat!"
The reason for choosing this line is that there were surprisingly few scenes in which Watari and Kivat had a proper conversation, and in most scenes Kivat was the one doing the talking.
The line Watari speaks most often to Kivat is "Kivat!" just before transforming.
That's why we've adopted this line.
In addition, in this "pseudo voice recognition mode", the "accelerometer" is also turned off.
Select this mode if you find the constant flapping noise annoying.
To enter World IV mode and pseudo voice recognition mode, turn the power on while pressing the buttons on both ears of the Kivat at the same time.
That's all for today's blog.
The next update will be on Monday, January 20th.
Next week I will explain more about Tatsurot.
See you next time.
