Pre-orders for "CSM Accel Driver ver.1.5 Fuuto Tantei EDITION" are now open!



This is the first CSM release in nine years since 2013, and it will be released with the same "ver.1.5" specifications as DOUBLE DRIVER.

●Driver body
Basically, it is based on the "CSM Accelerator Driver" released in 2013, and is designed to match DOUBLE DRIVER
・Changed leather belt to nylon belt
Eliminate dirty paint
We are making the following changes.

Same as Ver.1, but
・Uses "die-cast lever"
- Uses rubber material for grip
These two points are what make it feel even more authentic.

Accel Memory

Like DOUBLE DRIVER, it includes lines from Furukawa Makoto, a cast member of the "Futo Tantei" version, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of the anime.
By switching to "dialogue mode" and pressing the button, lines will be played one after the other.
In addition to that, as announced in the previous blog, we have also added some basic gimmicks.
-Newly recorded "transformation cancellation sound"!
The operation is the same - remove the memory and press the button within one second to activate it!

・The audio for "Accel Maximum Drive" is the sound version from the movie!
This too has been updated with the SE, just like the DOUBLE DRIVER memory.

Furthermore, in the eighth episode of "Fuuto Tantei" that began streaming on U-NEXT yesterday, Axel's first transformation was shown in the anime version.
-Newly recorded "Axel transformation sound from the anime Fuuto Tantei version"!
We borrowed the sound data from Studio KAI, and when you load it into the belt while in "dialogue mode" and perform the transformation action while saying "Transform...body!", the sound of the anime version of the transformation (with the addition of sound effects of the body changing one after another) will play.
In addition, the "Dialogue Mode" is only set when you load it after playing "Transform...!", and the line "Now, let's shake it off!" will play after the transformation sound. You can play up to that point in the character's voice, or you can transform by just playing "Accel!" and the line will not be played even after the anime transformation sound plays, so you can enjoy Accel's transformation from the anime in your own voice.

Other minor corrections include the change that "once you transform into Axel, the transformation standby sound and transformation sound will not be heard again even if you turn the driver's grip until the memory is removed."
Instead of revising that, I would like to add:
●Includes bike transformation sounds!
Speaking of Axel, this is it! So we made it so that the sound effect of transforming into bike form can be played by operating the handlebars after transformation!

As for the color of the accelerator memory button, it is shown in clear red in the image shown, but we are currently selecting a paint and testing durability to see if we can paint it metallic red to match the prop.
(DOUBLE DRIVER ver. 1.5 from 2019 was originally made in the molded color, and paint was added later after further testing.)
We cannot provide a definitive guarantee until we have decided on the color that will actually be used for mass production at the factory and verified it, so for now we are leaving it unconfirmed, but we are working to have it painted as soon as possible.
We will provide further updates on our blog at a later date.


●Engine memory

This time, Terui Ryu's lines have also been recorded, and they can be played separately when the memory is set to dialogue mode.
In addition, the technique sounds of "Steam," "Jet," "Electric," and "Engine Maximum Drive" are all recorded as attack sound versions from the movie.
What's more, just like in the movie KAMEN RIDER DOUBLE "A to Z," by loading the Engine Memory into the Accel Driver, the sound of the "Engine Maximum Drive" special move (the move where the rider transforms into a motorcycle and charges forward) will be activated.
(In DX and CSM ver.1, a sound similar to the transformation sound was played.)
The engine memory prop was painted silver all over, but since this is a toy, it will be inserted into something, so I left it unpainted to avoid the paint rubbing off.


The "CSM Accel Driver ver.1.5" has returned with a power-up like this, and of course the "anime version transformation sound" mentioned in the Accel Memory above will also be included in the "DOUBLE DRIVER"!
"CSM DOUBLE DRIVER ver.1.5 Fuuto Detective Edition"includes the "Fuuto Detective version Cyclone Joker transformation sound" and the "Fuuto Detective version de-transformation sound"!

With the "Cyclone Memory" in "Dialogue Mode," play the dialogue from the double's first transformation scene in episode 2 of the anime, then play "Cyclone!" or Philip's next voice saying "Transform." Then, set it on the belt and transform. After the normal transformation sound, the Cyclone Memory will play the "sound effect of Shotaro's body changing"!
Also, if you have transformed by hearing the sound "Transform" as described above, the line "Now, count your sins!" will play after the sound effect ends.
This further strengthens the "anime version" feel.

This "first transformation sound in the anime" was recorded so that it would only come from the "Cyclone Memory" side.
The reason is that when you play a long piece of audio from two sources at the same time, the playback speed of the audio will inevitably differ over time, causing the audio to become out of sync.
(This was a phenomenon that occurred with the transformation sounds of the Extreme Arms in the DX Kachidoki Lockseed and DX Extreme Lockseed. The transformation sounds for those were also consolidated into the Extreme Arms in the CSM.)
This phenomenon was caused by a combination of two factors: the ICs used in toys inevitably have slight individual differences (this is unavoidable), and each memory also has its own variation in battery consumption.
So we've concentrated it on the cyclone side.

In addition, the "transformation cancellation sound" was changed to a sound effect unique to the anime version, so when you are in "dialogue mode" the cancellation sound will also change to the anime version.

So, with both DOUBLE DRIVER and Accel Driver, the "ver.1.5 Fuuto Tantei EDITION" is an item that can be enjoyed by fans of both special effects effects and anime versions.
We hope you enjoy it by thinking of "normal mode = special effects sound mode" and "dialogue mode = anime sound mode."
In the sense mentioned above, the "Accel Driver", which did not have a live-action "ver.1.5" product, can now be enjoyed as a live-action item as well.
