Hello everyone. I'm TK, in charge of developing the DX toys for "Shin Kamen KAMEN RIDER."

The movie "Shin Kamen KAMEN RIDER" is now available on Prime Video!
To commemorate this, HENSHIN BELT of KAMEN RIDER No. 0, the strongest enemy in this work, has finally been commercialized!
Pre-orders for the "DX HENSHIN BELT Ultimate Half TYPHOON (Prototype Modified Type)" will begin today at 4pm!


It was released in March this year to coincide with the release of the movie.
"DX KAMEN RIDER HENSHIN BELT TYPHOON Prana Forced Ejection Assistance Mechanism Included Early Model"
"DX KAMEN RIDER No. 2 HENSHIN BELT TYPHOON Opening and Closing Safety Device Included Early Improved Model"
This is KAMEN RIDER No. 0 NARIKIRI playing item of the same standard.
Although the two products above are "DX" products, they are voluminous products that are almost the same size as the props. This product is similar, but we took advantage of the fact that we started development after the work was completed to create something that will give you even more satisfaction!
Below are some highlights.

① The unique color of the windmill is reproduced by painting it with polarized paint!
The prop used in the movie for HENSHIN BELT #0, "Ultimate Half TYPHOON (modified prototype)," has two windmills painted with polarized paint, which gives it a distinctive texture that changes color like a gradation depending on how the light hits it.
(It's hard to tell in the movie because the screen is dark, but No. 0 has this paintwork all over it, including the windmill on its belt and the mask. You can see it at the KAMEN RIDER Exhibition: Osaka, which runs until September 3rd, so be sure to check it out.)
This product reproduces this distinctive color by painting it with polarized paint. During the development process, we checked the actual prop and carefully observed the color and shape before proceeding with the development.

Polarized paint is more expensive than regular paint and has rarely been used in NARIKIRI TOYS.
I would really like you to pick it up and see it with your own eyes.

② It has a volume that is satisfying even for adults!
This product is made to the same specifications as the "DX KAMEN RIDER HENSHIN BELT TYPHOON Prana Forced Ejection Assistance Mechanism Early Model" (hereafter referred to as "No. 1 Belt"), so it has the same size and large volume as the No. 1 Belt.
Those who own one can probably imagine what it looks like. Also, the shape of the thick front belt is slightly different between No. 1, No. 2, and No. 0, so this shape has also been reproduced using a new mold.
Even when worn by an adult male who is 176 cm tall, the wide belt covers the entire front, allowing for a high level of NARIKIRI.

When they stand side by side wearing the No. 1 belt, it reminds us of the scene in the movie where they face off against each other.
The painted area of the belt portion has increased significantly compared to models 1 and 2, so I think it will have a different feel.

③ Two windmills rotate with a motor!
This product is designed so that the two windmills on the front will rotate using a motor when you press the button on the bottom.
Just like in the play, the windmill on the left rotates clockwise and the windmill on the right rotates counterclockwise.
We created a rotating structure that reproduces these fine details.
In incorporating this mechanism, it became difficult to include the LED lighting gimmick that was on the belts of the first and second models, so this product does not include an LED.
If we were to add a lighting gimmick, the internal structure and materials would have doubled, and it would have been difficult to put it on par with the first and second DX belts, bringing the price up to over 10,000 yen. This was a tough decision, but we made the decision.

However, it wasn't all bad. There were also some benefits to not having the same lighting gimmick as the DX.
The advantage is that the shape of the windmill can be made closer to that of a prop.
For the first and second DX belts, we had to make the gap in the windmill larger than the prop in the movie because we needed to show the LED through the gap.
Belt No. 0 was freed from that constraint, allowing us to faithfully reproduce the shape of the windmill.
The prop design has blades that overlap in layers within a single windmill, so it was recreated by combining two parts to create one windmill.
This windmill is a major feature of this product, as it is painted with polarized paint, so we thought it was important that the shape was close to the prop when applying that paint.


4. Abundant in-game audio!
This product contains multiple audio clips from the movie, including the transformation sounds.
- Transformation sounds (including the sound of Ichiro's face cracking, the sound of tubes appearing, the sound of putting on a mask, etc.)
・The sound of rolling up a muffler
- Characteristic impact sounds (multiple)
- Sounds that turn into bubbles and disappear

Each one has a distinctive sound and I think it symbolizes No. 0.
The first and second belts were items to be released in conjunction with the theatrical release, so we received and recorded the transformation sound material while the work was still in the middle of production, but this time, after the work was completed, we decided on the audio to record while checking various aspects of the production.
It is an item with such high level of accuracy that Ichiro-san would say, "Now you two have the same one."
