A lot of people came to see the "CSM Giant Advertising" at the Shinjuku Station underground "Metro Promenade" that was held until yesterday. Thank you very much!

At certain times, it got very crowded and we had to restrict photography.

Well, today, after a long wait, we are again releasing information about the "CSM HENSHIN BELT ARCLE"!

The episode is titled "EPISODE 5: Transformation" and will focus on explaining D-mode, which can be found in the "Transformation" section on the reservation page.

But before that, we've made some great progress on the various transformation sounds for normal mode, so I'd like to start by talking about those.

Firstly, regarding the "Mighty Form transformation sound", I wrote in a previous blog that I couldn't find the data so I would create a new one, but after continuing my search, I finally found the data! ...So, I will be recording the original sound source!

(I gave it a thumbs up the moment I found it!)

In addition, in order to maximize the accuracy of the "transformation sounds," I watched the transformation scenes in each episode over and over again, and I noticed an important fact.

In the main story of Kuuga, the transformationsounds are different from the DX version, not just for the Mighty Form, but for all of the transformation sounds, including those other than the sound of the transformation completion.

If you listen carefully, you can hear that there are fewer sounds than in the DX version, and the tempo at which the intervals between repeated sounds narrow is a bit more drawn out.

I listened to that sound while also listening to and fiddling with the audio data for the toy voice, and finally understood it.

In the DX version, the sound comes alternating between the left and right speakers, but in the main Kuuga movie, only the sound comes from one side!

In onomatopoeic terms,
The DX version had the sound "Shang (shang) shang (shang) shang (shang) shang (shang) shang (shang) sha (sha) sha (sha) sha (sha) sha (sha) sha-keen!" and the voice in parentheses came from the speaker on the opposite side,
The sound in the video was "Shan shan shan shan shan sha sha sha sha sha sha shakin!"

According to the data, only one of the two stereo sounds was being used.

In response to this, all transformation sounds in "normal mode" are set up so that only the audio comes from one side, in line with the sound in the movie.

Also, normally the sound would alternate between the left and right speakers, but since it will only be played from one side, it seems strange to have it only play from one side, so we have set it up so that the sound plays from both sides simultaneously.

(Of course, in D mode, the transformation sounds are played alternately in the left and right speakers just like in the DX version, so if you want to hear the "Sonic Wave" transformation sound, you can enjoy it in D mode.)

Furthermore, the "Dragon Form transformation sound" not only used one side of the audio, but the pitch was also changed.

In the movie, the sound was quite low, so we adjusted the pitch so that it would sound the same, recreating the transformation sound from the movie.

The human ear is insensitive, and we don't notice small differences unless we listen very carefully...

I didn't realize this fact until I actually started working on product development.

Next, we will introduce the details of "D mode", which corresponds to the "transformation" part.

*If you flip the switch on the back of the unit to the right (warrior mark), it will enter "normal mode"; if you flip it to the left (D mark), it will enter "D mode."

Also, if you press the transformation button on top and flip the switch to the right, you will enter "special mode."

The "D" in "D mode" comes from the fact that it also stands for "DX" and "DECADE."

In fact, the transformation sound for Decade's Kuuga is also a one-sided sound as shown above, but in order to retain the "sonic wave" feature of the original DX toys (creating a "sound wave" by playing sound alternately from the left and right speakers), we have used the sound from the toy version as is.

The specifications are almost the same as the "Complete Selection Edition" ARCLE, so all the transformation sounds, such as Rising Mighty, use the DX version's sound. Since Decade didn't become Rising Mighty, I don't think it will feel out of place with the old Consel version.

However, one of the highlights of this product is that by turning it into "Ultimate ARCLE" in this mode, you can transform into "Rising Ultimate", a transformation exclusive to Decade's version of Kuuga.

On the reservation page,

"Ultimate Form (Dark Eye)"

As mentioned above, he can transform into three forms, and among these, he transforms into "Ultimate Form (Dark Eye)" three times in the story of Decade. Each time, in episode 2, the final episode, and MOVIE War 2010, a different transformation sound is played in each different situation.

As for which transformation sounds we will be recording this time...

We will record everything!

This means that there are now a total of five transformation sounds that can be played with "Ultimate ARCLE"!

You'll have to wait until it arrives to find out what conditions are used to distinguish these five types! (←Now published!)

By the way, the sound of the transformation into Ultimate Gouram is also included, so you can have fun NARIKIRI playing as "Onodera Kuuga" in a truly deep way!

Finally, today we would like to introduce one more product for which pre-orders began last weekend.

"DX Another Watch Set"!!

The watch that allows you to transform into the "Another Rider" from KAMEN RIDER ZI-O has been released as a DX item! This product is a set that allows you to transform into five Another Riders.

The cover parts, designed with the faces of each rider, are interchangeable, and the main body comes with a collection of voice recordings for the five Another Riders.

Here's how to play:

① Press and hold the button on the top of the console, and each time you press it the name will be read out in the following order: "Build" ⇒ "Ex-Aid" ⇒ "Fourze" ⇒ "Faiz" ⇒ "Wizard." This is how you select a character.

② After selecting a rider above, briefly press the button on the top again to hear the following sounds: "The sound of the Blank Watch changing into Another Watch, followed by the startup sound of the rider's name being read out."

③After that, if you press the button on the top again, the sound of inserting the "Another Watch" into your body and the sound of transforming into Another Rider will play in succession.

④Then press the button again and the "watch destruction sound" will be played.

In addition, when you set it on the DX ZIKU-DRIVER and rotate it, the "EVIL" display will play along with the "Another Rider transformation sound", allowing you to enjoy the original play of the toy. This is a must-have item for everyone who collects Ridewatches!
