The Ultimate Points of CSM Kaixa Gear Part 8: Kaixa Blaygun Blade Mode
Hello everyone, this is Funasen.
It's been raining every weekend lately and it's really depressing...
Well, this time I'll be explaining the specifications of Kaixa Blaygun's "Blade Mode"!
-22 LEDs installed on the blade!
The blade part is equipped with 22 LEDs. These 22 are divided into 5 blocks and illuminated in sequence to create the effect of the light expanding and contracting.
From loading mission memory to normal attacks
When the blade parts and mission memory are both equipped, it will be in "Blade Mode."
First attach the blade parts, then insert the mission memory, and the LEDs will light up in sequence along with the sound of the light extending immediately after the "ready" voice.
Alternatively, you can insert the mission memory first, have it beep "ready", and then attach the blade part; once attached, you will hear the sound of the light extending and the LED will light up.
In the movie, the blade part grew out when the memory was inserted, so I think the process will be closer to what happens in the movie if you "insert the mission memory" -> "immediately attach the blade part while the ready signal is ringing."
Immediately after entering Blade Mode, the standby sound will continue to play and the LED will flash, but when you press the trigger, the sound of a sword attack will play and the standby sound and LED flashing will stop.
Each time you press the trigger, three different sword-clash sounds are played in sequence, allowing you to enjoy playing with the blade, but in the main game, gunfire will sometimes be fired while in blade mode.
This gun can be switched to firing mode by operating the cocking lever (pulling and releasing) while in blade mode, making it possible to recreate the action.
To return to sword attack mode, simply operate the cocking lever again.
*By the way, when in blade mode, please do not swing it around or hit it with force.
There are a large number of LEDs inside the thin blade, so there is a risk of it breaking if subjected to sudden movements or impacts.
Equipped with two types of special moves after exceeding charge!
The Kaixa Blaygun's Exceed Charge special move has two different patterns! Press the Kaixa Driver button to activate the Exceed Charge, and once it's received by the Blaygun, that's when the special move will branch out.
① Kaisa Slash of Soka Kaisa
First of all, of course, there is this special move. After receiving the signal, pull the cocking lever and press the trigger, and the sound of the "Orphnoch Capture Bullet" is activated at the same time as the cocking lever returns. The LED on the projection section will remain lit and a standby sound will sound.
After that, if you press the trigger again, the sounds of the series of actions will be played, such as charging and slashing at the Orphnoch, and finally the sound of the Orphnoch being reduced to incineration, recreating the action in the movie.
② Nishida-kun Kaixa's Episode 12 Special Move
Here is another one. When you press the trigger instead of the cocking lever at the branching point, the standby sound will be activated. With this standby sound, the LED will not flash, but will be constantly lit.
If you then press the trigger again, the sound of a sword being struck will be heard, followed by the standby sound three times, after which the sound of an Orphnoch being turned to ashes will be heard and the game will end.
This product also faithfully reproduces the production from episode 12, so I think you will have fun using the two different special moves!
This concludes our introduction to the Kaixa Blaygun Blade Mode!
Now, a little bit of news.
Due to popular demand, the reservation deadline for the "CSM Kaixa Gear/Kaixa Driver" has been extended by one week to 11:00 PM on Monday, November 20th.
In addition, we plan to release a video on how to play Kaixa Blaygun before the pre-order deadline.
The exact date has not yet been confirmed, but we will prepare a video that shows the fun of the Braygun, which we hope will be helpful for those who are unsure about purchasing one.
That's all for today's blog.
The next update will be on Monday, November 6th.
See you next time!
