"CSM Core Medal Ankh Set" now available!
Hello everyone! This is TK, the developer.
Starting at 4pm today, we will begin accepting pre-orders for the "CSM Core Medal Ankh Set"!
This product is a set of four Core Medals, similar to the "CSM Core Medal Lost Blaze Set" released last year.
Many people were surprised by this sudden announcement, but this is the first KAMEN RIDER OOO OOO CSM item in about a year, and it has a variety of complementary elements, so we hope you will stay with us until the end.
In honor of OOO, we would like to introduce three points of interest.
① You can recreate the "original 10 core medals"!
By combining these two items with the "CSM OOO DRIVER ver. 10th" or the "CSM OOO DRIVER (released in 2018)", you can recreate the original 10 Core Medals created by an alchemist 800 years ago!
There were originally ten Core Medals of each type, and when one was removed, Greed was born out of the desire to fill the missing one.
I'm sure you all know this.
I would love for you to get the CSM version of all 10 cards in perfect condition that existed 800 years ago.
Pick one up with your own hands and create greed.
(Strictly speaking, the total is 11, but if we sell a set of three of each product, even if you buy two, it won't be 10, so we set the minimum number at four. If you have purchased both the 2018 and 2022 versions of the CSM OOO DRIVER, you will only need one of this product, for a total of 10.)
② You can recreate the Tajadol Combo Eternity special move!
By combining this product with the "CSM OOO DRIVER ver. 10th" and "CSM Tajanity Spinner", you can recreate the Tajanity Spinner's special move seen in the final battle of "KAMEN RIDER OOO 10th: Resurrection of the Core Medal"!
In the movie, Tajanity Spinner's special move requires two Condor Medals, so even if you obtain the "CSM OOO DRIVER ver. 10th", you will still be missing one Condor Medal.
You can recreate this look by getting one of these products!
I would love to fill my Tajanity Spinner with medals that have the texture of CSM.
3. They use ID tags different from the CSM versions of "Hawk, Peacock, and Condor"!
As an added value unique to this product, the three medals in this product use ID tags that are different from the regular CSM version.
The change is that the ID tags of these products have been changed to "the 2010 Gashapon versions of Hawk, Peacock, and Condor."
Of course, even in this state, the CSM Auscanner will still recognize them as a "Hawk, Peacock, and Condor," so their behavior will not change at all when playing with them in normal transformation games.
So why is it designed like that? It's to change the behavior of the Taja when played with in a Taja Spinner.
Before explaining this, I would like to review the specifications of "Oscanner ver.10th".
The behavior of the Taja Spinner in "Oscanner ver.10th" is different from the DX version. When scanning a Taja Spinner with three medals of the same type loaded, the first medal will always be read first.
This means that if you have the medals for "Aerodactyl," "Tricera," or "Tyranno," you will always start by reading "Aerodactyl," and then read the medal next to Aerodactyl in order. For example, if the medals are loaded as shown in the image below, you will be able to smoothly perform Lost Blaze in the order of "Aerodactyl," "Tricera," "Tyranno," "Aerodactyl," "Tricera," and "Tyranno."
This was achieved by programming instructions that instructed the system to "read the medal with the highest ID tag number assigned to each medal first, and then read the rest in the loading order based on that medal."
However, there was one point that we had to compromise on in order to realize these specifications.
This means that when three medals of different types were inserted, there were combinations that could not be read in the order of "head," "torso," and "legs."
For example, when you load the three cards "Killer Whale," "Peacock," and "Condor" into a Taja Spinner and read them with a scanner, you would want the order to be "Killer Whale," "Peacock," "Condor," "Killer Whale," "Peacock," "Condor," but the order that comes out will be "Peacock," "Condor," "Killer Whale," "Peacock," "Condor," "Killer Whale."
The reason for this is that the three avian medals had ID tags with lower numbers than the three aquatic medals.
The ID tags on the O-Medal have remained unchanged since the DX version of OOO DRIVER was developed in 2010, and their order is as follows:
3 types of insects → 3 types of cats → 3 types of heavyweights → 3 types of birds → 3 types of aquatic creatures → 3 types of dinosaurs → ... Cell medals, etc.
Therefore, for example, if you load "Killer Whale", "Peacock", and "Condor" in that order, the system will start reading from the bird with the lowest number, and start with "Peacock".
(It would have been great if we could have done something about this in the program, but since this was a feature that Funasen came up with and added at the very last minute as a way to perfectly reproduce the order of the Lost Blazes, the best we could do at the time was to set it up in ID order without causing bugs.)
Therefore, for the "Hawk," "Peacock," and "Condor" medals this time, we have decided to use the Gashapon version's ID tags, which have ID numbers assigned later than the DX version's tags.
This allows the tags with the higher numbers "hawk," "peacock," and "condor" to be used, making it possible to read "killer whale," "peacock," and "condor" in that order.
This time, we will only release the Ankh set, so we have only updated the Hawk, Peacock, and Condor, but if this specification is well received, we may be able to release the Uva set, Kazari set, Gamel set, and Mezool set with similar specifications. If we do that, we may be able to reproduce the reading order of Takajava...
Lastly, the price of this item has increased compared to the previous product with the same composition, the "CSM Core Medal Lost Blaze Set." This is unavoidable given the current manufacturing costs.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
That's all for today's blog. See you soon!
