Today is the deadline for pre-ordering the CSM Ikusa Belt! Introducing the Whistle insertion sound gimmick

Hello everyone. This is Funasen.

Today, July 6th (Monday), is the deadline for pre-ordering the "CSM Exabelt & Exalyzer"!

Yesterday, a web event was held by the BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division.
At "TAMASHII Features 2020," guest Kohei Takeda had the opportunity to touch a current product sample.
You can watch the archived video below, so please take a look!

The Ixabelt in the video is nearing the final paintwork, with further fine details currently being brushed up.
The striped pattern below was quite visible due to the reflection of light in the video.

These stripes are created by printing stripes on the back of the clear part on the surface and then painting the back of the part silver.
In DX there were speaker holes and LEDs, but the prop was depicted like this, so I reproduced that.
When you look at it with your naked eye you can see the intricate craftsmanship and how it greatly contributes to improving the texture of the product.

So far, we have introduced various gimmicks, but today, as this is the final announcement, we will introduce a gimmick about the "EXA BELT itself" that we have not yet been able to tell you about.
it is···
Includes multiple variations of the "whistle insertion sound"!
That's it.

In the story, a sound was played when the whistle was inserted.
Therefore, this time we have added an "insertion detection" feature to the EXABELT itself so that a sound effect will be played the moment it is inserted.

However, the sound effects in the play varied depending on the episode and the whistle inserted.
Unfortunately, the unit does not have the functionality to distinguish what type of whistle has been inserted when it is inserted (due to internal constraints and cost reasons), but we have made it possible to select the insertion sound you want to play by turning the power on.
Here it is.

The power switch can be slid left and right, just like the Ixa Knuckle.
① When you turn it ON on the left side, the audio insert sound (called Type A here) that often plays in modern mode will play.
This is the sound that was played when reading a Powered Whistle or Riser Whistle, and in DX it is the same as the sound effect that occurs when you press the knuckle down to read a Whistle.

However, the sound effect of ① was played in a lower pitch in episode 13 with Otoya Ikusa, so if you turn ② on with a whistle already inserted on the left, the inserted sound will change to the previous version of Type A.

And now the other side.
③When you turn it ON on the right side, the sound that is made when Nago Ikusa loads a Calibur Whistle or Garuru Fake Whistle will change to the whistle insertion sound (called Type B here).
The sound is "pishoon."

The last audio is from a slightly special situation.
④ When the "warning sound" sounds while Ixa Knuckle is in past mode, the Whistle insertion sound will change to the Episode 11 version, which has the "warning sound" added after Type B.
This is a reproduction of the inserted sound made when Ikusa, the second wolf, sets up his Knuckle Whistle after the warning sound has sounded once in episode 11.
No matter whether the power switch is on the left or right, if the Ixa Knuckle is in past mode and the "warning sound" is activated, everything will switch to this mode.

There are really small differences and it can be a little confusing, but if you actually touch the product and try it a few times, I think you'll quickly learn how to use it.

This concludes the introduction of the final gimmick of the Ixa Belt.
As much as possible, we have tried to recreate the scenes in the movie, and the exterior is made with great precision.
We believe that this product is definitely worth more than its price, and we can recommend it with confidence.

Reservations are open until 11pm today! We look forward to your reservations!
The next update will be on Monday, July 13th.

Well then!
