KAMEN RIDER GAIM

Pre-orders for the CSM Lockseed Gaim Set begin today!

Hello, this is Funasen, CSM development manager.

Today, September 16th, is "Gaim Day"! What a joyous occasion!!!

Did you know about Gaim Day? I didn't know about it.
The news of a new "Kamen Rider Gaim" was announced exactly one year ago on September 16th.
The news article stated, "September 16th is Gaim Day...!?", which means that it suddenly came into being last year.
At the time, I had no idea why September 16th was Gaim Day, and it had vanished from my memory, but after updating my blog the day before yesterday, I saw those comments and realized it.

So 9=g means "ga", 1 means "i", and 6 means "mu"!
I was impressed by this genius idea even after a year. By the way, I had forgotten that this program is so aggressive that they call the 9 in "913" "Ka".

Of course, I had forgotten about it, so it was a complete coincidence that the CSM Lockseed Gaim Set pre-orders started on Gaim Day, and I'm really surprised.
This is also God's will!!

So this is a set of only the Lockseeds used by Armored Rider Gaim, also known as Koutagami.
Pre-orders for the "CSM Lockseed Gaim Set" started today!

In addition to the pineapple, strawberry, and watermelon that Gaim used in the main story, the lineup will also include surprise items this time, such as Fresh Orange, Black Orange, and Black Lemon Energy, which have never been released in DX versions!

Fresh Orange was an attachment to Shogakukan's "Televi-kun" magazine at the time, while Black Orange and Black Lemon Energy were released as PREMIUM BANDAI exclusive products as a spin-off of "Capsule Lockseed."
Both were low-cost versions of the "Sound Lockseed Series."

The release order is surprising, with "Black" being released before "Lemon Energy Lockseed".
The transformation sound is the same as that of regular Lemon Energy, so if you close your eyes, you can have a go at transforming into "Gimber Lemon" a little earlier.
However, the command "Transform" contained in the Lockseed will be shouted as "Yamikouta."

I would also like you to take a look at a photo of the Black Lemon Energy lid when it is unfolded, but there is no locking block on the luminous surface!
This is the most obvious evolution of CSM! Melon Energy, which has a similar opening method, is also expected to have a beautiful surface thanks to the same design structure.

The colour of the LEDs for the two black versions is blue, just like in the movie.

The Fresh Orange model is missing the noticeable screws that were unavoidably visible on the front due to the assembly required.
I think that's the most enjoyable thing about Fresh.
Fresh pineapple was not used in the transformation and only appeared as an object, so we decided not to include it in this product.
I'd like to include this in a set with a more niche lineup, which I mentioned in a previous blog post, if it is released. (That might be quite some time off.)

By the way, although this is called the "Gaim Set", it does not include the Lockseed of the "God of War".
Of course, it has to be in the same set as that one, so please wait for future set products.

We look forward to your reservation!

Finally, here are some mass-produced images of the "CSM Lockseed Kureshima Set" which will be delivered next month!

Here's Takatora's share!

The main attraction, the Shin Kachidoki Lockseed, is painted metallic green like this.

The regular Kachidoki is clear orange all over, which allows the LED light to shine through clearly, but Shin Kachidoki is a metallic color according to the design, so the molding color itself is metallic green, which affects how the LED looks.

In the "extreme state", it is barely possible to transmit light like this,

When the "click state" occurs, another molding plate is placed forward, and the two extra stickers block the light, making the LED light invisible.
(The photo above is when the unlock button is pressed. No light is visible.)

We also tried a sample with a molded color of clear green, but because parts such as the hinges would rub off, we had to leave them in the molded color, which resulted in a strange look with clear parts here and there, so we gave up on the glow-in-the-dark approach and prioritized the appearance of the object as a whole.
Please be aware of this.

The hinges are molded in a meta green color like this.

The design of Watermelon has changed from the DX version.

On the DX, the dark green striped part is concave, but on the CSM version the pattern is painted on a clean surface, just like the prop.
For DX, we used the most popular painting technique called "mask painting," which intentionally creates a slight unevenness to make it easier to paint, but for CSM, we used "tampo printing" to print only the pattern without any bumps or unevenness in order to achieve the same look as the prop.

And here is Mitsumi's share!

This one doesn't look as different from the DX version as Takatora's Lockseed, but the color of the grapes has a beautiful luster, similar to the paint on the "CSM Extreme Lockseed."

As shown in the play, Yomotsuheguri's LED lights are green.
This is something that can only be reproduced by CSM, which can create small separate parts.

That's all for today's blog.
Next week's update will be on Tuesday, September 21st.

Next week will be the first shipment of ALTERING!
Well then!
