CSM HENSHIN BELT TYPHOON shipping starts tomorrow!

Hello everyone. I'm Funasen, the CSM developer.

This week's blog was scheduled to be updated tomorrow, but has been rescheduled to today, 1/27.
This will be a special feature on the "CSM HENSHIN BELT TYPHOON," the first batch of which will begin shipping the day after tomorrow, January 29th.
As we have already emailed to those who have purchased the product, we have also published the following page as supplementary information to electronic manual, so when you receive the product, we would like you to first read electronic manual and the following page before playing the product.

[Notice] About the "CSM HENSHIN BELT TYPHOON KAMEN RIDER 50th Anniversary Memorial Set"
(We updated the blog today to reflect this announcement.)

Even after submitting the instruction manual, we continued to make adjustments to the program right up until the mass production start, so there were some points regarding the adjustments that were not fully explained in the manual, so we have added the details here.
Recently we have been receiving more and more inquiries from customers who have not read the instruction manual...I'm sure there are some issues that can be resolved by reading it, so please be sure to read it first.
(For example, if the startup sound is repeated continuously, this is often due to a low battery. In most cases, replacing the battery with a new one will solve the problem, so please try that before contacting us.)

So here is the review of the CSM TYPHOON!

First, here's the package.

The new issue 1 and new issue 2 are prominently displayed in the package. This time, there is a ribbon at the bottom.
How big is this box?

There's a huge difference compared to DEN-O BELT shipped last month...it's bigger in every dimension: length, width, and height.
The reason is that it comes with a pedestal.

The back side looks like this. It features the double riders in different poses.

When you open the lid of the box, you will find

As you can see, TYPHOON is wrapped around the base! (It is actually wrapped in protective paper and a bag.)
On the left and right are replacement parts for the base side and metal decorative parts. (The decorative parts are not attached to the belt at first.)
This time, because it is a commemorative product and the sizes of each part vary greatly, we have packaged it in urethane with this layout.
When you remove the central belt and base,

A muffler and the emblem of the Shonen KAMEN RIDER Team!

The decorative parts are very beautiful.
When installing, attach the front and rear parts by pinching them through the holes in the belt as shown.

As mentioned in the instruction manual and the additional information linked at the beginning of this blog, this decorative part is attached quite firmly, so please do not try to remove it with your fingers but use a flat-head screwdriver.
If it was easy to remove with your fingers, it would come off and get lost while playing with it, so we have made several adjustments to make it stronger.

Now, here comes some unreleased information about the gameplay.

Includes a variety of transformation sounds!
It contains 6 patterns in No. 1 mode and 9 patterns in No. 2 mode.
We have just posted a video of some of it on Twitter, so please take a look.
In addition to the video, Issue 2 also includes the transformation sound from when Skyrider made a guest appearance.
There is a normal mode and a dialogue mode, and the transformation sounds that include the shouts of the two legends are also quite fun.
In No. 1 mode, transformation is possible using an infrared sensor, but in No. 2 mode, transformation can only be activated using a button.
For No. 2, the transformation sound starts one second after pressing the button. There is a gap before you can pose. (For No. 1, you can press the button while in the transformation pose with your left fist.)

●A total of 16 BGM tracks are included! The theme song is narrated by Shinji Nakae!
A total of 16 songs, including variations, can be played using the BGM button.
Although the theme song is the same, "Let's Go!! Rider Kick," it is different between No. 1 mode and No. 2 mode.
Just like the TV version, there is a narration by Nakae Shinji at the end, and in No. 1 mode a different narration is heard: "Hongo Takeshi is," and in No. 2 mode, "Ichimonji Hayato is."
In addition, the No. 1 mode also includes the Fujioka version of the theme song from the old No. 1 period.
In addition to the opening version, Let's Go!! Rider Kick also includes the full version that was played during battle.
In addition, the "Rider Action" is included in two versions: an ending version and an opening version.
Of course, it can also be played along with the transformation sound in BGM standby mode.

●Special move sounds include No. 1: 34 types, No. 2: 16 types!
After transformation, press the "Transform/Special Attack Button"
The sounds of special moves have also been included in great detail, with roughly all the ones performed by each rider included.
In dialogue mode, the sounds of the special moves explode along with the passionate shouts of the two actors. In fact, if they didn't announce the name of the move, you might not know what the sound of the special move was.
It's similar to the sound of the transformation. Also, with a few exceptions, the sound of a special move is followed by an explosion sound. In the movie, the special move in which the monster melts and disappears was unified into an explosion sound, considering the versatility of the toy.
Furthermore, there's a twist to this explosion sound.
After transforming and then waiting for the background music to play, if you activate a special move, the moment this explosion sound is heard, the background music that had been playing up until then will stop, and the "Ending" background music will start to fade in from the end.
When that ends, the "next episode preview" background music will play, followed by one of three ending themes. (You can choose the ending theme.)
Those who remember the show's structure well will understand what I'm talking about, but we've included a function that recreates the common production leading up to the ending of each episode of "KAMEN RIDER."
It may be a bit of a convention, but it is an attempt to recreate the flow of the punchline of each episode, which could be considered a stylized style.
I think it's going to be quite interesting, so I hope you'll experience it when it arrives.

Includes eye-catching sounds!
If you press the "transformation/special move button" and the "dialogue button" at the same time, the eye-catching sound that plays before and after the commercial will play.
Have fun playing and try ringing it at any time to recreate the flow of the show.
This time, we have recorded music that allows us to recreate what are essentially external parts of the story, such as the opening theme song with narration, eye-catching sound, preview of the next episode, and ending, so we have made it so that you can have a lot of fun recreating the "show."

All in all, I think it's a fitting product for the 50th anniversary, so I hope you enjoy it to the fullest when it arrives this weekend!!
That's all for today. The next update will be on Tuesday, February 1st. See you!
