We have released "Craft Friends Papirunzu," a "new sensation toy" that combines paper craft elements and AR functions. When you take a picture of a character you have folded yourself with a dedicated app, the character will start moving in an AR space. As the first release, 9 characters and 4 items from the "KAMEN RIDER Series" will be sold exclusively at the "KAMEN RIDER Store" from Friday, March 18, 2022.
 
 

■Create your own character using original paper that anyone can easily fold!
To play with Craft Friends Papiruns, you start by folding paper to make a craft. By folding and combining several sheets of original paper, you can create a palm-sized character. The original paper is numbered, so anyone can easily fold the character and have fun.

■Scan the folded character with the dedicated app! The character will come to life in the AR space!
When you scan the character you've created with a special app, the character will start moving in the AR space as if it had come to life. You can play with it freely by projecting it into everyday scenes, or you can change the background and enjoy it in various world views. You can communicate with the character by tapping on the screen, take photos and videos with landscapes and people, and post them to social media from the app.
　　


■New lineup coming soon! First up is the "KAMEN RIDER Series"!
　
The first wave of "Craft Friends Papiruns" will feature popular riders from the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras from the KAMEN RIDER series, which has been popular for three generations, and limited edition products will be released in advance at KAMEN RIDER Store. By folding, making, assembling, and loading the completed rider into the app, you can recreate famous scenes from the series in your favorite location. When you tap on a character, they will come closer to you and move as if they were actually there, and you can enjoy actions unique to the "KAMEN RIDER Series", such as performing a rider kick.

More collaborations with popular characters are planned for the summer of 2022 and beyond, but the official website currently offers free downloads of original character designs for "Craft Friends Papirunzu." Combined with the free AR app, you can enjoy the world of Papirunzu as soon as possible.

■Fold and combine your original paper to create your character!
By folding along the numbers on the original paper, you can have fun creating your favorite character.
　


■When you scan with the dedicated app, the character will start moving as if it had come to life!
You can freely play with the characters you create on the app and create your own original album.


 
■Tap the screen to communicate with the characters! You can also take photos of your favorite scenes while playing!
By tapping on the scanned character, they can move closer or perform actions, and they will appear to come to life.
You can take photos together at your favorite scenery and spots, or play around with original backgrounds for each character.
