Here are some samples of O-Medal products!

Hello everyone. This is Funasen.
Today's blog, following on from last week, will feature the final pre-production sample images of the "CSM OOO DRIVER Complete Set".
Let me introduce you to...
Today is the "Core Medal Special"! We will post images comparing the Core Medal products with past Core Medal products.
Let's start with the three "Tajadol" cards!


From top to bottom, they are CSM, Premium O Medal Collection, and DX.
The metallic red of this CSM really shines.
As stated on the reservation page, this Core Medal did not use the DX version mold, but was developed with the aim of being as close to the prop used in the movie as possible.
That being said, there were scenes in the movie where the DX version of the medal was used for filming and scenes where it wasn't, but this time we have designed it to reproduce the prop design of the Core Medal that OOO uses after transforming.

First of all, let's take a look at the details of the animals. Here is a close-up comparison of the DX version.


You can see that the gaps between the animal designs are narrowing.
The DX version has a rough texture around the animal, called "textured". The shape of the animal is narrower by that area, but the medal used as a prop in the movie by Oars after transformation does not have the texture, so the area of the raised part of the animal is wider.
We are recreating that here.

The painting is done by applying a metallic paint to the entire figure from the inside, and then painting the parts other than the animals with a darker clear red from the outside.
In addition, in the DX version, the colors of the hawk, peacock, and condor were different, but in the movie, all three props were the same color, so in CSM we reproduced that uniformity in color.

And the two main attractions of this event, the "Cracked Hawk" and the "Broken Hawk", look like this.



I just want to hold the broken hawk in my palm...
*By the way, this dirty painting is done by hand one by one, so the degree of dirt varies from piece to piece, and no two are exactly the same.

Next up are three "Gatakiriba" cards and three "Ratorata" cards!


This has also been painted using the same techniques as the hawk, peacock, and condor mentioned above.
Here, each of the three medals has a different color. The front of all the medals in the Premium O Medal Collection are painted black, so the Ratorata medal in particular has a rather dark impression.
At CSM, each medal is painted a different color, which makes them look even more like the props in the movie.

The medals for "Sagozo" and "Putotira" look like this.


The "Shauta" medal is currently on a business trip to China, and I will post it on the blog again when I am able to show it to you.

The painting method used for the scorpion, crab, and shrimp differs from that used for other medals in that the non-animal parts are painted from the inside, and the animal-shaped parts are painted from the outside.
Normally, the animal side of the medal is a lighter color, but these three medals are the opposite, with the animal side being a darker color, so they were painted in the opposite way.
*By the way, the scorpion, crab, and shrimp were painted with a white outline around the animals on the props, but this is difficult to reproduce in mass production, so we gave up on this idea this time. If you are particular about the details, please try painting it yourself!
