Pre-orders for the CSM V BUCKLE and Drag Visor start today!

Hello everyone, this is Funasen.

Finally, today we are starting to take pre-orders for the "CSM V BUCKLE & Drag Visor"!
If you have seen the link above, were you surprised?
They even created a reservation page with a Mirror World design, which was a bit unexpected.

As you can see by looking at the reservation page in the correct orientation, this time we have a truly massive selection of Ryuki NARIKIRI items!

There's a lot Contents, so let's take a look at each item.
First up, V BUCKLE!


Following the Faiz Gear, the size is based on the "Complete Selection Edition" and is made with completely new sculpting.
(Because the molds for the CS version at that time are no longer available.)
The DX version's Advent Cards are the so-called "Carddass" size, so if we were to create a card deck from them, the size would be too small, so we decided to use the Concert Edition size.

And there are a whopping 17 different card decks included!

The CS version at the time came with decks of 13 riders, and later two types of Survive were sold separately, but this time we have added two types, "Ryuki Blank Body" and "Abyss", to make it a complete set!
The reliefs of each rider have also been redesigned to resemble the props in the movie even more than the CS version, as much as the mold structure allows.
The highlight gimmick this time is the sound that changes when the individual card decks are recognized!
The image below shows V BUCKLE when no card deck is inserted.

There are small detection pins like this sticking out from the side. Also, there are different recesses on the back of the card deck side, and when you insert a card deck, it presses one of the four detection pins and identifies it.
* V BUCKLE itself in the how-to PV released today was still in development, so the design here is different, but this photo shows the latest structure.

By identifying this, it is possible to make Ryuuga's transformation sound unique.
What's more, it will be possible to activate "cast voices," one of the highlights of this update.
This time, we were able to record the dialogue with the cooperation of a total of eight cast members: Suga, Matsuda, Odai, Hagino, Takano, Takatsuki, Kato, and Koyama!
This marks the largest cast number in CSM history, surpassing "CSM DEN-O BELT."
By pressing the "dialogue button" on the top right of V BUCKLE, the lines of the character corresponding to that card deck will be played in order.
In terms of card decks, there are 12 decks that correspond to the voices of each cast member: "Ryuki", "Knight", "Zolda", "Ouja", "Lya", "Taiga", "Fam", "Ryuga", "Odin", "Ryuki Survive", "Knight Survive", and "Ryuki Blank Form".


Matsuda had previously posted a photo of the two of them on Twitter, and that was the day they recorded the audio for this product and filmed an interview.
In addition to recording the lines, we also interviewed him, and we have published the interview article on a page designed like the nostalgic "ORE Journal."

In addition to the "dialogue button," a "sound effect button" and a "BGM button" have also been added.
This button was the joint for releasing the buckle in the DX version. In the movie, there was no need to press this part to release the buckle, so this time we've assigned it to the voice button.

This "sound effect button" uses sound data from the film and is filled with sound effects related to the Mirror World.
When you hear the high-pitched whining sound that occurs when a monster appears, it makes you feel like you've entered the world of Ryuki, and the sense of realism is heightened!
After that, if you press the sound effect button with your right hand as you hold out the card deck with your left hand, the "V BUCKLE appearance sound" will play in a natural way, which also adds to the sense of realism.
There are also many other sounds that give you a taste of the world of Ryuki, such as the sounds of entering and exiting the Mirror World, ambient sounds within the Mirror World (a unique sound like wind blowing), and the sound of evaporation when time runs out. We will go into more detail on these gimmicks in future blogs.

And, you can play four songs using the BGM button.
Like recent CSMs, it can be played automatically when you transform, and this time it can also be played at the same time as "pulling out a card," so playing "Endless Hope" or "Revolution" is sure to add to the sense of realism!


...As such, the CSM version of V BUCKLE is a belt equipped with the latest specifications for 2018, aiming to recreate the world of Ryuki. The price is
The concert version was priced at 30,000 yen (excluding tax), but this product (standalone version) has an increased number of decks and a variety of sound gimmicks, and although the number of cards is reduced, the price is 28,000 yen (excluding tax)!


Next up, let's talk about the Drag Visor!


This time, the size of the Advent Card is determined by the size of V BUCKLE, so the Drag Visor has also been increased in size to match the card size!
The design has also been redesigned based on the props used in the film, with the biggest differentiating features being the "Advent Card insertion area" and "grip."

The card insertion section is based on the one in the movie, with a silver top cover, and the card is inserted into the gap.
It also has a switch that detects when it is inserted, and when it is fully inserted the "swoosh" sound effect that was played in the movie will play.

The grip has also been enlarged to an adult size. We were unable to perfectly reproduce the length of the prop to resolve issues such as strength in the event of a fall, but we have ensured that it is large enough for an adult male to wear. The weight and presence when worn is outstanding!

The basic gimmick is the same as the DX version, but this time we have also been developing the sound effects so that they are as close as possible to the sound effects in the movie!
(As you can see from the PV, this is the first recording of Dragredder's voice as seen in the movie!)


Furthermore, both the Drag Visor and the Advent Card are equipped with a gimmick that allows for contactless card identification.
The DX version of the card has punch holes in it, and each hole can be identified to play a separate sound.
However, this time we have implemented a contactless reading function, which makes it possible to identify the card while maintaining its appearance!
Here too, reproducibility has been improved by using recent new technologies.

When we recorded Suga's voice for V BUCKLE, we also recorded lines for the Drag Visor, so if you turn the dialogue mode on you'll be able to play the special attack sound with voice!

In addition, the sound effect of the visor changes only when you scan a Ryuuga-related card, so you can play with it as if it were a Drag Blacker. We hope you enjoy it together with V BUCKLE with the Ryuuga card deck inserted.
