Hello everyone. I am in charge of KAMEN RIDER toy development.
The pre-order deadline for the "DX Laser Rays Driver" is fast approaching on Wednesday, April 9th!
This time we will bring you the latest information.



First of all, let me say that there is a ton of upgrades based on the information on the reservation page!
If you are unsure about purchasing, I hope this will be helpful.

1. Appearance UPGRADE
 
The geometric pattern engraved in the clear part can now be seen clearly.

I think it will be much easier to understand if you compare it with the image on the reservation page here.

Even without the light, in fact it is easier to see, so it still looks cool in this state.
 
If you look closely from a different angle, you can see that the geometric pattern appears double in the background.
 
The area circled in dotted lines is where you get a vague double appearance.

This is because the clear parts are luxuriously doubled like this.
The clear black parts on the inside are plain, but the geometric pattern of the clear parts on the outside is reflected, making the pattern itself appear double, which gives a slightly strange appearance.

Gene's card design is a new design that retains the feel of Gene from Laser Raiser Riser, but the back is particularly noteworthy!

This may be the first time it has been shown in Japan(?), but the back side features a Desired Royale design.

The back of the Laser Raiser card was tampo printed in a solid red color by Geats Design, allowing the front design to show through. However, this time, a white tampo print has been applied as a base and then a red Desired Royale tampo print has been applied, so the front design does not show through.
It's a subtle but extra step.
Thanks to this, it has a clearer, more defined appearance than before.

Also, this card is different in shape from the card that comes with the Vision/Zillion Driver, but is the same shape as the card that comes with the Laser Raiser Riser.
You can see that the shape of the notch near the bottom right is different.

However, the card included with the Laser Rays Riser gets stuck when inserted into the card holder of the Vision/Zillion/Laser Rays Driver, so we have modified the internal shape of the holder to allow it to be inserted properly.

And since it's the same shape as the card that came with the Laser Razor Riser...

When loaded into the Laser Raiser you can hear Gene's transformation sound!

Comparing the back side, it looks like this.
It might also be fun to imagine Gene picking up the Laser Raiser and transforming again, saying, "I think I'm going this way after all."

If you collect all the cards that have been released so far, there are a total of 9 cards!
Just lining up cards is exciting, isn't it?
Be sure to collect all the cards to complete your collection!

The touch sensor on the top is designed to resemble a card. It wasn't shown much in the movie, but it actually looks like this.

So, what do you think of "1. Exterior UPGRADE!", which we weren't able to tell you about on the reservation page?
I think this was already a very satisfying experience, but the highlight is actually from here on out!

2. Audio UPGRADE!
1. Includes sounds for summoning weapons that can only be heard here!
In the movie, the Magnum Buckle was loaded and the Magnum Shooter 40X was summoned.
(The recorded audio includes the fox's voice, just like in the movie.)

On the reservation page, it was stated that the sound that is played when the buckle is loaded is a "special move," but this will be changed to an "armed summoning sound" to match the sound in the movie.
Afterwards, children can play with the weapon toys they have at home, allowing them to become even more NARIKIRI in the story.

Furthermore, when you load something other than a magnum buckle, the corresponding weapon summoning sound will be activated!

For example, when you load the Ninja Buckle
"SET" → "Standby sound" → (Buckle operation) → (Shuriken sound) "RAISE LINK" "NINJA DUALER"

This is the "sound to summon a Ninja Dualer" that plays!
So, the Beat Buckle makes the sound of summoning a Beat Axe, and the Zombie Buckle makes the sound of summoning a Zombie Breaker, but what kind of sound will be made if you load a Monster Buckle or Boost Mark II Buckle...?
Check this out for yourself!

​②15 voiceovers of Gene's character are included!
This may seem like a small number, but it's not!
Since he only appears in one episode, most of the lines from Outsiders Episode 7 have been included.

Also,
"This world cannot become a happy place if we just execute people because they have ill intentions. That's why I came here. (Startup sound: "LASER RAISE DRIVER") To support riders, even if they are evil riders."
As you can see, we also added the startup sound along the way, just like in the movie.
In the Memorial Buckle series, the voice of a fox or the "RETIRED" sound is often added to the dialogue to improve the authenticity of the scenes in the movie, and this is the same image.

3) Theoretically, there are over 300​ ​different cheering voices for Gene!
The numbers suddenly become incredibly huge and you may not understand what I'm talking about, so I'll explain it step by step.
First of all, the cheering voices are divided into a first half and a second half in the IC program.
(The first and second halves will play consecutively without any operation.)

～Example～
・First half: "Amazing!"
・Second half: "OOO!"
The repertoire of this "first half" is extremely rich, with an incredible 10 different pieces included.
Although only three types were listed on the reservation page, there were actually many more.

①It's amazing!
②It's amazing!
③I was moved!
④It's so funny!
⑤So cool!
⑥It's awesome!
⑦It's too strong!
⑧I'm rooting for you.
⑨I'll support you.
⑩I'll cooperate.

Has there ever been HENSHIN BELT that has nothing but positive things to say?

And in number ⑥, although it is written "It's the best!", what is actually said comes out as "It's the best!", and the emotion is overflowing.
It's the best.

These 10 types will be played randomly, so you can receive different cheers every time you touch the Touch Center.
And since there are more than 30 types of Legend Rider buckles that can be individually recognized, theoretically you can listen to 10 types in the first half x more than 30 types in the second half = more than 300 types of cheering voices.

If we look closely at the first 10 types, we can see that they can be broadly divided into two categories.

1. Those that end with "!"
① It's amazing! ② It's so amazing! ③ I was moved! ④ It's so funny! ⑤ It's so cool! ⑥ It's the best! ⑦ It's so strong!
These are people who are excited and cheer you on enthusiastically.

2. Those that end with "."
⑧I'm rooting for you. ⑨I'll support you. ⑩I'll cooperate.

These are calm, collected offers of help.
To accommodate these two types, the reading voices of the legendary riders in the second half of the game are also included in two versions, one with a higher tension and one with a lower tension.
Therefore, we have recorded over 60 types of Legend Rider voices, including high and low tension voices x 30 types!
We deliver it in a huge volume!

Let's look at a specific example.
1. Those that end with "!"
First half: "It's awesome!" → Second half: "OOOOO!"
2. Those that end with "."
First half: "I'm rooting for you." → Second half: "OOO."

In this way, we have taken great care to ensure that when the first and second halves are listened to as a single sentence, there is no sense of incongruity in terms of tension.

As mentioned above, there are a huge variety of cheering patterns, so you can keep playing for hours on end with just this.
We hope that you will listen to all the different types of encouragement and feel more positive.

⑤Equipped with transformation cancellation function!
This product also utilizes the know-how of the Memorial Vision Driver. After transformation, you can detransform at will by performing a specific action. In other words, ​there is no automatic detransformation function in 60 seconds, so you can enjoy comfortable, continuous transformation play in accordance with the Memorial Vision Driver.

Now, the "KAMEN RIDER TOY WEB Official" account on X (formerly Twitter) is currently introducing transformation scene videos, armed summoning videos, and cheering voice videos. Please take a look at them along with the contents of this blog!

As mentioned many times in the text, although this product is called "DX", the contents make full use of the know-how cultivated in the "Memorial Buckle Series".
