"CSM Lost Driver ver.2" and "CSM T2 Gaia Memory ver.2 AtoG" available today!
I'm in charge of KAMEN RIDER toy development.
Starting today, we are taking pre-orders for "CSM Lost Driver ver.2" and "CSM T2 Gaia Memory ver.2 AtoG"!

First, please take a look at the product page and the product introduction video.
Introducing the new "ver.2 standard" items, which feature individual recognition function via infrared communication between memory and drivers! This means that there are plenty of exclusive play activities that make full use of the new system!
In this blog, we will take a closer look at the specifications of the items that are available for pre-order today!
Let's start with "CSM Lost Driver ver.2"!
●Dialogue voiceovers for Shotaro Hidari, Sokichi Narumi, and Katsumi Daido have been confirmed to be included!
This product includes lines from the video by Shotaro Hidari, Sokichi Narumi, and Katsumi Daido!
As with the CSM DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2, thanks to good fortune and the generosity of all involved parties, we were able to record the dialogue from the movie!
Anyone who has played with the CSM DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2 will know this, but the sense of immersion and excitement of being able to hear the lines from the original movie coming out of the toy is quite something, so I hope you'll look forward to it!
There is a mode switch on the back of the Lost Driver, and by switching between the three modes, you can choose whose lines you want to hear.

One of the points we paid particular attention to in terms of the lines is that Narumi Soukichi's line, "I've counted my sins, Matsu. Now, count yours," can be played either before or after transformation. Technically, it's a line that is spoken after transformation, but in terms of the direction of the play, we thought it would be nice if it could be played in Soukichi's (before transformation) state as well, so we designed it that way. By the way, the sound effect of Soukichi and a skull overlapping at the part "Count your sins" is only played when it is played in the transformed state, so we hope you will enjoy the difference in the sound by playing it in either state.
●Audio gimmick on the driver's side!
Just like DOUBLE DRIVER, this one also comes equipped with a number of buttons on the driver itself!
The button layout is as shown below, and has been changed slightly compared to DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2.

The button layout was changed to achieve the following two specifications.
① Place the dialogue buttons near the slots
In many scenes, riders who transform using the Lost Driver say the "transform" call after loading the memory. For this reason, the Lost Driver ver.2 is designed so that when you load the memory and press the dialogue button while the transformation standby sound is playing, the "transform" call will be played.
When playing the "transform" line during a transformation action, I decided on this placement because I thought that the best place to play it would have the least amount of wasted movement would be near the memory slot.
*As an aside, you can rest assured that the scene shown by Narumi Soukichi in "KAMEN RIDER x KAMEN RIDER W & Decade Movie War 2010", where the "transform" line is played during the transformation sound after the driver is deployed, can also be recreated.
(When you transform after performing a certain operation, lines are automatically added.)
② Sound effect buttons are placed on both the left and right
Before transformation, the sound effect button is basically used to play the belt preparation sound and belt fastening sound, but this time, those buttons are located on both the left and right sides of the driver. The reason for this is that "which side of the driver to hold and fasten on the waist" is different for each character.
Specifically, Sokichi Narumi and Katsumi Daido hold it in their left hand, while Shotaro Hidari holds it in his right hand and wears it on his waist. For this Lost Driver, we needed to make it possible to play with the driver no matter which side you hold it on, so we placed sound effect buttons on both the left and right sides.
For the above reasons, the button layout has been adjusted for this item. Those who are used to playing DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2 may be confused at first, but since it is designed to be easy to play with Lost Driver alone, we hope you will play a lot and get used to it!
●There are also plenty of sound effects to play with after transformation!
You can still play with the sound effects after transformation, which was also popular with CSM DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2!
Of course, the Lost Drivers can also identify which rider they are currently transformed into through infrared communication,
For the Joker, it would be "fighting sounds" or "wrist snapping sounds."
For Skull, there are "fighting sounds", "Skull Magnum firing sounds", "chest opening and ejecting skulls", and "Matsu's memory breaking sounds".
For Eternals, there are "robe combat sounds" and "thumbs down sounds."
You can play sound effects that match the memory you are transformed into at any time you like!
In addition, it also includes the "Red Flare malfunction sound (forced de-transformation sound)" which can only be played when transformed with Eternal Memory.
In the previous CSM Lost Driver ver.1.5, there was no button to operate after transformation, so this sound was "automatically played 20 seconds after transformation", but now, with the addition of a button on the driver side, it can be played at any time. Why not play with it as if you are holding your hand over the belt like Katsumi and feel the destiny with Eternal Memory?
●Amazing expandability through linkage with previous products!
We've introduced a lot of features so far, but the real value of this item is here! By combining it with the previous product CSM DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2, you can greatly expand the possibilities for play! We'll introduce its specifications below!
① The hidden audio from Joker Memory has been unlocked!
In fact, the "Joker Memory" that comes with the "CSM DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2" that has already been released contains hidden audio.
These are the sound effects of the Lost Driver's "Rider Punch" and "Rider Kick" and Shotaro's shouts at the time.
This sound is only released when an infrared signal from a Lost Driver is received; after transforming with the Lost Driver, load it into the maximum slot and perform a special action, and the sound will change automatically!
And there's more!
After performing certain operations with the Lost Driver ver.2, by transforming using an existing Joker Memory, it will be possible to recreate the transformation seen in "Heisei Riders vs. Showa Riders: Kamen KAMEN RIDER Wars feat. Super Sentai" with the line, "Now, count your sins."
This is achieved by having the Joker Memory receive a signal from the Lost Driver and change the timing of the transformation sound, and when a Lost Driver identifies an existing Joker Memory, it plays Shotaro's lines.
Ever since we developed DOUBLE DRIVER ver. 2, we have been imagining the surprised looks on everyone's faces as we incorporate this product-wide gimmick, so we are very happy to finally be able to unveil it to you.
② The memory identifies the driver, and the timing and content of the transformation sound changes depending on the driver!
All memories can identify the left and right slots of the Lost Driver ver.2 and DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2, and can play the transformation sounds that match the identified slot. By using this function and combining the Lost Driver and DOUBLE DRIVER, it is possible to play various original transformation sounds at a time that feels natural, for example, for "Cyclone Skull," "Skull Joker," "Heat Eternal," and "Skull Trigger."
There are a huge number of combinations available, so be sure to find your favorite form!
Of course, by loading the memory included with DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2 into the Lost Driver, you can play the transformation sounds of "KAMEN RIDER Cyclone" as well as those of other fantasy riders such as "KAMEN RIDER Luna" and "KAMEN RIDER Metal" without any sense of incongruity.
The individual sound effects after transformation have also been included in Lost Driver ver. 2, so please enjoy those as well.
(For example, "KAMEN RIDER Trigger" would have a gunshot sound, and "KAMEN RIDER Heat" would have a flaming punch sound.)
That's all about "CSM Lost Driver ver.2"!
Next up, we'd like to introduce "CSM T2 Gaia Memory ver.2 AtoG"!
This series is called the "T2 Gaia Memory CSM Project" and is a plan to commercialize 24 T2 memories other than the "Eternal Memory" and "Joker Memory" that come with the CSM Lost Driver ver. 2. The memories will be divided into 4 products, with 6 memories each, and will be released at intervals.
Here are some highlights of the T2 Gaia Memory!
-All Gaia memories include unique transformation sounds!
Each of the 26 T2 Gaia memories will have its own unique transformation sound!
For Gaia Memory, whose transformation sound did not appear in the movie, a new sound will be used.
This transformation sound is a new voice created by the person who composed the Gaia Memory sound in 2009! Please look forward to it!
The transformation sounds for "Bird" and "Nazca Joker" have been previewed in the product introduction PV, so be sure to check it out.
●Driver slot can be identified via infrared communication!
All 26 of the T2 memories mentioned above also have communication functions, and all 26 are capable of playing transformation sounds at timing corresponding to the left and right slots of the CSM Lost Driver ver.2 and CSM DOUBLE DRIVER ver.2.
In other words, you can create your own original forms with the toy, such as "KAMEN RIDER Naska", "KAMEN RIDER Ocean", "KAMEN RIDER DOUBLE Weather Naska", "KAMEN RIDER DOUBLE Unicorn Eternal", and anything else. It's great for imagining forms. The possible forms are as follows:
26 (lost) + 26 x 26 (double) = 702 forms, so there are so many to choose from! It's thrilling.
●Enjoy plenty of recreations from the movie!
In addition to the original play of the toy mentioned above, the T2 Gaia Memory also has a wide range of play that recreates scenes from the movie. Starting with the Cyclone Memory, the T2 Gaia Memory used by NEVER in the movie will include unique Dopant transformation sounds.
In addition, the Unicorn Memory and Zone Memory will include the sounds of the Maximum Drive and Neverending Hell (the sound of loading all the T2 Gaia Memories into the body) seen in the movie. I hope you'll look forward to it.
This is a long introduction, but that's all for now. The double item ver.2 has even more room for fun! Don't miss this chance to get your hands on it!
In addition, in "Fuuto Tantei", the official sequel to "KAMEN RIDER W", a story related to the mystery of the Lost Driver is currently unfolding! Furthermore, if you are a fan of the double, your favorite "that person" will make an unexpected appearance in this exciting development! Be sure to check out "Weekly Big Comic Spirits"! A linked project is also planned for issue 24, which will be released on May 12th. Don't miss it!
