KAMEN RIDER ZI-O

The second wave of KAMEN RIDER ZI-O toy information! The voice actor for ZIKU-DRIVER is...

Hello everyone, this is Funasen.

Today's article will introduce information about "KAMEN RIDER ZI-O" toys, including some details that we were unable to cover in our blog post on August 1st.

First of all, thank you to everyone who purchased the DX Build Ride Watch, which went on sale on August 4th!
I'm sure many of you have been playing with it straight away and are wondering who the voice of this toy is.
Also, those who have played the "DX ZIKU-DRIVER" demo machines installed in some retailers nationwide, or those who have seen the movie "KAMEN RIDER BUILD Be The One", may be wondering why the sound of Zi-O's transformation, "Kamen Rider! Zi-O...!", is heard by a different voice.

So today, we are announcing the voices of ZIKU-DRIVER and Ride Watch!


Those people are...




The two guests are voice actor Koyama Rikiya and singer Onishi Yohei!
Rikiya Koyama is well known to special effects fans for his role as the voice of Kasumi no Joe from "KAMEN RIDER BLACK RX", Bushin Gaim from "KAMEN RIDER GAIM", and Paradox Roidmude from "KAMEN RIDER DRIVE"!
With his deep, mellow voice, he was in charge of the system voice for all of the Zi-O toys.
Not only the Ridewatch, but also the weapon sounds such as the "DX Jikan Girade" are voiced by Koyama.


And Taihei Onishi is well known for singing the opening theme song for "Shuriken Sentai Ninninger" and the ending theme for "Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger"!
The concept of this transformation sound is to simply sing the character's name: "Kamen Rider! Zioh...!"
Although the phrase is short, we asked singer Onishi to help create a powerful song.


By the way, the main scriptwriter for "KAMEN RIDER ZI-O" was Shimoyama-san, who was also the main scriptwriter for "Ninninger", which is pure coincidence (!).

So, we asked two people with a connection to special effects to be in charge!
Ride Watches featuring the wonderful voices of these two will be released one after another starting next month.
It's a fun piece, including the rider introduction sound, so we hope you enjoy it.

Well, today we have one more item to introduce, the RIDER KICK'S FIGURE!

In a previous blog post, we introduced this item as a new figure series, and not only will it include the "KAMEN RIDER BUILD" series, but the "KAMEN RIDER ZI-O" series will also be available in this figure format!
It's called "RKF Rider Armor Series KAMEN RIDER ZI-O "!
This year's Zi-O figures will also be released under the "Rider Kicks Figure" series brand.


Not only does it come with Zi-O's weapon, the Jikan Girade, but it also comes with interchangeable wrists, allowing you to recreate his unique pose with his fingers pointing at the hands of a clock!
Furthermore, the word "Rider Armor Series" is included, and this Zi-O figure is able to recreate this year's power-up concept of "putting on armor"!
The Zi-O Build Armor has already been unveiled in the Build movie, and this figure has been made to recreate that form, so be sure to get your hands on this one too!

Also, starting today, the second round of pre-orders for the "DX Closed Build Can" has begun.
The second batch of pre-orders will be delivered in January 2019, the same as the second batch of DX Grease Blizzard Knuckles.
