CSM HENSHIN BELT ARCLE Episode 2 Sensing

Hello everyone.
I'm Funasen, an adventurer. (Big lie)

CSM ARCLE has been so well received that we are already taking third orders!
Thank you so much to everyone who made a reservation!

The third pre-order shipment will be delivered in May 2019. We are sorry, but please understand that we will not be able to deliver them in time for the "last delivery of the Heisei era," which is the product's slogan, "The first HENSHIN BELT of the Heisei era, delivered at the end of the Heisei era." (The Heisei era is currently scheduled to end on April 30, 2019.)
For those who pre-order in the third wave, we hope you will enjoy it as the first HENSHIN BELT of the new era!

Well, in today's blog, titled "EPISODE 2: Sensing," I would like to show you even more depth in the gimmick, focusing on explaining the specifications of the "infrared sensor" installed in ARCLE.

The CSM is also equipped with an infrared sensor, just like the old Concertina, so that when you put your hand on the belly, ARCLE will appear.
It is a mechanism that can be reproduced.

However, the sensor position is different from the Concert version, it is located under the purple button and there is only one hole.
(At the Concert Hall, there were two above the blue button.)
Why did they move the position this way? It 's to make the sensor's reaction time even shorter than the Consele version!!!
We are currently working on making adjustments so that the "belt appearance sound" will start playing immediately after you wave your hand!

I think this is a gimmick that people will enjoy, but how does it relate to moving the sensor position?
I'm sure many of you are thinking this, so I'll explain why.

In the concert version, the "belt appearance sound" didn't start until about three seconds had passed after you put your hand over it.
There is a reason for this. We believe that the "3 seconds" setting was intended to prevent the "belt appearance sound" from being unintentionally triggered if the sensor reacts instantaneously and for some reason the sensor part is covered.
For example, when you press the red form button, your hand will end up covering the sensor directly above it.
If the sensor were set to react instantly, the "belt appearance sound" would be heard the moment the button was pressed.
I want to avoid that. But I want the sound to play as soon as I place my hand over it. I realized that I could achieve this by moving the sensor further down below the button!
This will prevent the sensor position from being covered by your hand when you press the button, allowing you to set the sensor's response speed to be faster.

So, this time around, we've added more gimmicks to the infrared sensor than just the "belt appearance sound."
That's "Super Transformation"!
In the movie, transforming into one form and then transforming into another form was called a "super transformation."
The movements for the Super Transformation vary depending on the situation, but the most popular is to "hold your hands over your belt ⇒ say "Super Transformation!" while sticking out your right hand and moving it from left to right."
In other words, this pose does not require the "pressing of the button on the left hip" that is required in the normal transformation pose.
We want to recreate this as closely as possible, but we can't press the button... That's where the infrared sensor comes in!
After transforming, if you press a different form button and then place your hand on the infrared sensor, a"super transformation" gimmick will play the sound of the other form transformation!
Of course, even if you press the button on the left hip without placing your hand on the infrared sensor, the transformation sound of the selected form button will still play, so you can transform just like the DX version!

Additionally, Mighty Form is special in that it will also use infrared sensors to activate special moves!
Basically, when you transform, pressing the button on the left hip will play the sound of that form's special move. The movement of the Mighty Form's special move, the Mighty Kick, is as follows:
The sequence was "throw out right hand in a nuance similar to the transformation pose ⇒ spread both arms ⇒ run ⇒ kick", and since the left hand is held over the belt when "throwing out right hand", it looks like infrared rays could be used! So...

After transforming into Mighty Form, press the red button again and then hold your hand over the infrared sensor and the sound of the "Mighty Kick" special move will begin to play!

We will make full use of the infrared sensor!
That's all for today's CSM information.

In addition, five new products from "KAMEN RIDER ZI-O" will be released this weekend.

First up is the "Time-Gratitude Axe DX Jikan Zacks"!
This is the weapon used by Gates. It has appeared in the second episode of the show, but it will finally be released as a DX version.
