To commemorate the 50th anniversary of "Ultraman Taro" the transformation item "Ultra Badge" is being commercialized with an electronic gimmick!

~The "infrared communication" gimmick allows you to NARIKIRI the transformation scene for the first time!~







Description of item

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of "Ultraman Taro," which was first broadcast in 1973, a set of memorial items will be released as part of the "ULTRA REPLICA" series of role NARIKIRI items for adults, centering around the "Ultra Badge," an item used by the main character, Kotaro Higashi (played by Saburo Shinoda), to transform into Ultraman Taro.



The "Ultra Badge" is a replacement for the previous product ordered in 2019, with all parts being redesigned from scratch.

Furthermore, we have finally achieved a 3D model with an electronic circuit, something that was not available in the previous product. By utilizing the latest design technology, we have built an infrared communication unit into the extremely small body base, measuring 60mm wide and 8mm thick.



The Ultra Badge works in conjunction with the "ZAT member buckle-type sound unit" that comes with the product.

By pressing the button on the back of the Ultra Badge, infrared rays are transmitted, and when the sound unit receives it, the sound unit plays the sound of Ultraman Taro 's transformation.



Ultraman Taro 's transformation sound can be switched between three different patterns depicted in the movie, and after transforming, you can also press buttons to play Taro's battle cries and special move sounds.

The Ultra Badge is designed with great attention to detail, and under the supervision of Tsuburaya Productions' modeling department LSS, the gently rounded curved shape of the body is faithfully reproduced. The crystal in the center is made of acrylic.

In addition, by using the included holder parts, you can now attach the badge to your arm, something that wasn't possible with previous products. NARIKIRI allows you to pose even more.



The other included item, the "ZAT member buckle-type sound unit," is a three-dimensional sculpture based on the emblem of ZAT, the defense team that appears in the film.

The sound unit itself also has two buttons, allowing you to play a variety of sounds that color the entire series of Ultraman Taro, such as the theme song, insert songs, and transformation scene background music for Ultraman Taro, as well as various iconic sound effects such as the sound of the Ultra Badge lighting up and jumping, and the roars of the monsters that appear in each episode.

In addition, it can also be worn using a hook on the back to ensure smooth infrared connection with the "Ultra Badge."
