The Ultimate Bracelet is an item that transforms into a bracelet from the "Ultimate Aegis" bestowed upon Ultraman Noa in "Ultraman Zero THE MOVIE: Super Decisive Battle! The Belial Galactic Empire."
It's an ultra awesome item that can extend Ultraman 's activity time limit and travel between multiple universes (multiverses)!

The Ultimate Bracelet can be said to be Ultraman Zero 's partner!
This time, we will be sharing four behind-the-scenes stories about the development of the "ULTRA REPLICA Ultimate Bracelet" product specifications that we were unable to fully reveal on the reservation page.


① Appearance
When creating this ULTRA REPLICA, the first thing we struggled with was the appearance.

There are many different types of props for the Ultimate Bracelet.

① Things with zeros
② What Taiga Nozomu was wearing
③ For display etc.

I thought about it for a few days about which prop to use as a reference, and decided on the Ultimate Bracelet, which is not a transformation item, but an item that Zero always wears.
The Ultimate Bracelet worn by Taiga Nozomu in his human form was also a candidate, but Zero has worn the Ultimate Bracelet far more often in terms of the number of appearances, so for this project we 3D scanned the prop worn by Zero (1) and created the design data.

However, because Zero wears it over his suit, if we were to commercialize the prop size as is, it would be quite large, and we faced the problem of it being too loose when worn on the arm.
We felt strongly that the size had to be adjusted so that it would not look unnatural, so we 3D scanned the prop for the Ultimate Bracelet worn by Taiga Nozomu and adjusted the size so that it would not look unnatural when worn by a person.

After much hard work, we believe we have been able to recreate the sleek and mysterious look of the Ultimate Bracelet!


② Sargabrace replacement parts included!
It also comes with replacement parts for the Saga Bracelet, which were not available until last week!



When it comes to sculpture, we 3D scan the prop and design it from scratch.
Here too, we faced a big problem: gradient painting.
Regarding the gradient paint on the surface, which is characteristic of Sarga Breath, to be honest, spray painting in a factory can result in unevenness, the gradation may not be good, and mass production may not be stable.
If you think about it, there aren't many products with gradients in them...

However, this gradation expression is essential for commercializing the Sarga Breath.
We cannot compromise just because mass production is not stable.

Huh!

Actually, I had a short period of experience working in China in charge of development and production, and there I tried my hand at gradient painting on one of the products.
Although it is a different character category, the "replacement eye parts (Emperor ver.)" that come with the CSM Tatsurot are... At this time, we frantically discussed with the factory and after repeated trial and error, we arrived at a certain technology.

It's "UV printing technology"!!

UV printing is a technology in which CMYK inks are sprayed onto a molded product, just like printing onto paper.
This UV printing is often used for products such as blocks for young children, which have characters printed on the flat surfaces, but it is also possible to print on slightly uneven surfaces.

However, only a limited number of factories can use this UV printing technology.
Therefore, we quickly changed the factory we had originally planned to use to one that can use UV printing technology!

By making full use of this UV printing technology, we can perfectly reproduce the gradation paintwork!

Regarding part replacement
The "DX Ultraman Thurgabreath" released at the time had a transformation gimmick.
When trying to recreate a transformation gimmick, it becomes difficult to achieve the same appearance as the prop.
The reasons for this include:
① Rails (holes) are required to transform
2. There is a problem that adding a transformation gimmick makes the figure too thick.

When it came to making this ULTRA REPLICA, I had two options in mind.

A) Prioritize appearance and eliminate transformation gimmicks
B) The exterior will be a little thicker, but it will have a transformation gimmick.

I went back to the roots of ULTRA REPLICA.
"The appearance, sound and lighting gimmicks will be faithfully reproduced based on the props used in the film."

I suddenly remembered.
"There is no transformation gimmick in the Saga Breath props"

In the story of "Ultraman Saga," the petrified Ultimate Bracelet breaks and transforms into the Saga Bracelet.
The scene was depicted using CG, and the actual prop did not have any transformation gimmicks.

I came to an answer: "Let's get rid of the transformation gimmick and focus on the appearance."

This is how we were able to create a Saga Breath that can be turned into a Saga Breath by simply replacing the replacement parts!


③ About audio
The Ultimate Bracelet that has always been with Zero as he fought and traveled for the past 10 years!
We have included a lot of audio that could not be recorded with ULTRA REPLICA Zero Eye!

It includes the type change sound of" Shining Ultraman Zero", who was awakened by the encouragement of everyone in Ultimate Force Zero!



In addition, special moves for each type are also included.
Of course, just like in the movie, you can unleash special moves by hitting the crystal part of the Ultimate Bracelet!
"Garnet! Buster!!!!"
Go for it with enthusiasm!

Furthermore, since the same term "Galnate Buster" is referred to slightly differently in each work, we plan to include it multiple times!
Compared to recent ULTRA REPLICA, this product is planned to include a large number of special move sounds, so we think it will be a lot of fun to play with!

And as for Shining Ultraman Zero 's special move, which wasn't listed on the order page, it will also include the legendary "Ehhhhhhh! (Time rewind)"!
The moment I saw the voice drama, I felt a sense of mission to include it.

〇About Ultraman Zero 's lines
When selecting the lines this time, I had a strong desire to create something that was worthy of the 10th anniversary.
I looked back at all the works in which Zero appears and selected these from among the many available.
Ultraman Zero is a hero who rushes to the rescue in times of crisis in many works. This book includes many of Zero's cool lines!

Ultraman Zero is a caring character who sometimes gives training to his comrades, helps them out when they're in trouble, and encourages them, so I really wanted to include some lines with the other Ultraman, and so I selected some.
*In Ultraman Geed, the Ultimate Bracelet is damaged, so adding lines to this product would cause inconsistencies. Also, previously, voice lines from within Geed were included in the "DX ULTRA ZERO EYE NEO Special ver.", so we have left them out this time.

〇About the theme song and BGM
This time, there are some parts that overlap with ULTRA REPLICA ULTRA ZERO EYE, but I think it is absolutely necessary for the Ultimate Bracelet.

④ Light emission specifications
As for the light-up feature of the crystal part, it requires three button batteries, so it cannot be kept lit all the time while playing, but in the movie it is always lit up.
We felt that this was one thing we absolutely could not disappoint, so we adopted something called "LED light emission mode."
As the name suggests, this mode keeps the LED lit for 2 minutes, making it ideal for NARIKIRI and display purposes.
