"Ultra Soft Vinyl World" to be released! ~Stop-motion animation of Ultraman and monsters~
Starting at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023, the original web drama "Ultra Soft Vinyl World" (8 episodes in total) based on the Ultra Soft Vinyl series will be available on YouTube's "BANDAI Official Channel" / "TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION"!
This work is an original web drama mainly based on stop-motion animation (commonly known as stop-motion animation).
Each episode is a self-contained short drama, and you can enjoy various stories that unfold as the soft vinyl figures of Ultra Heroes and Kaiju come to life.
All eight episodes will be released one at a time every Saturday morning at 9:30am from Saturday, January 21st to Saturday, March 11th, 2023.
＜Synopsis＞
Haruto is a first-grade boy who loves Ultraman.
He is always surrounded by lots of Ultra Soft Vinyl toys and enjoys pretend play and battling in his room.
One day, when Haruto falls asleep, a Plasma Spark Tower suddenly appears and brings the soft vinyl toys in his toy box to life.
The soft vinyl figures begin to weave various stories without Haruto's knowledge.

＜Screenplay and series composition
A new story for "Ultra Soft Vinyl World" was created under the full supervision of Tsuburaya Productions.
The script and series composition for all episodes will be handled by Junichiro Ashiki, who has been involved in many Ultraman series video productions and will be working as a freelancer after leaving Tsuburaya Productions in April 2022.
This is a work that can be enjoyed by a wide range of people, from small children to adults who are fans of Ultraman.
<Video Production
The video production is being handled by a team of Japan's leading stop-motion animators, led by the video production company MagniFIKA. Animation director Takuro Oishi is in charge of animation, while Shigeru Okada is in charge of animation. Saori Watanabe is in charge of the storyboard for the first episode.
The figures incorporate humorous elements that take advantage of the limited range of motion unique to soft vinyl figures, while also faithfully expressing the character traits of each of the soft vinyl figures.
