And... BANDAI finally
This is the release date for "DX Earth Garon."
Today, on the eve of the release, I will be following up on the details of the "audio" that I have not yet been able to tell you about for "DX Earth Garon."
We would also like to bring you the latest toy information on the newly released "Mod.2" form.
Lights and sounds! Have fun with all 17 different operation sounds!
As previously reported, this Earth Garon is packed with classic gimmicks such as "lights up!" and "sounds!"
Press the button on the abdomen to activate the sound!
The audio content can be broadly divided into
1: Earth Garon 's cry
2: Ghent's operational command line
3. Attack sounds
There are three types:
For "1: Earth Garon 's cry," you can play three different sounds by pressing and holding the button.
(I thought that people would want to be able to hear the chirps at their own discretion, so I separated the short and long presses to make them independent.)
The three patterns of calls are:
- Heroic Roar
Damage voice
Growl
The content is based on the image above, and includes the audio used in the film.
"2: Gent's creation command lines" and "3: Attack sounds" are sounds that play in sequence when you briefly press the button.
For example, after Gent's line "Keep your distance and use the Earth Gun to hold him back!!" is played,
Next, press the button and the "earth gun firing sound" will be played.
The audio unfolds in the order of "dialogue ⇒ sound effects corresponding to the content of the dialogue."
Taking this into consideration, the sounds that will be heard are listed below.
Starting with a sortie sequence from the SKaRD base,
From arriving at the battle site, fighting the monsters, to using the special move Earth Fire...
The sounds are programmed to play in a sequence that allows you to relive the operation scenes in the movie.
Earth Garon is basically a robot toy,
It is also an "action figure" with 20 fully movable parts.
It's also NARIKIRI TOYS allows you to recreate the strategy scenes from the movie at your fingertips!!
It's like a bento lunchbox in the toy world. (Is that a bit of an exaggeration?)
*Note that although the line "Earth Garon prepares to deploy!" is the last one on the list (the 14th time), in reality this sound also serves as the start-up sound for the toy, so in terms of play, the first sound you hear is "Prepared to deploy!"
Including cries and operational sounds, there are a total of 17 different types!
You can also enjoy the glow of the eyes and Earth Fire in time with the sound.
Ah! There are two details about the light emission that I would like you to know about.
First, the light doesn't go out immediately after the sound stops!
It is programmed to stay lit for about 10 seconds after the sound has ended.
This allows you to get a good look at the eyes as they glow and take some great photos of them glowing!
Another thing is that the lighting is also designed to create a special effect!
It doesn't just light up in time with the music, but also lights up in a way that matches the dialogue and content of the audio.
For example, Gent's line, "Type 23 special tactical armored beast, Earth Garon, prepare to march out!"
While the dialogue is being spoken, the eyes are off (image before startup),
The eyes light up in time with the startup sound, "Pikiiiiiiiin!", which is played following "Ready to deploy!"
In addition, after the line "Earthfire ready to fire!",
The eyes began to blink in time with the sound of Earthfire charging.
Next, when you press the button and hear the "Fire!" sound, the light will flash brightly at the same time.
This is also something that was created with a role-NARIKIRI approach.

The third installment of the "Ultra Kaiju Advance" series is scheduled to be released next month on Saturday, August 26th.
We have decided to include bonus parts that will expand the playability of Earth Garon!
"Ultra Monster Advance Nijikagachi & Earth Garon Mod. 2 Unit"
Regarding the "Nijikagachi" and "Mod.2 units"
I'd like to create an opportunity to introduce each one in detail in separate articles, but for now I'd like to tell you just one thing...
In fact, these Mod.2 units can do more than just be combined.
By combining the two, the sound coming from Earth Garon will change to a sequence exclusive to "Earth Garon Mod.2"!
As mentioned earlier, the concept of the sound coming from Earth Garon is to "relive the battle scenes in the movie," so
It would be a bit disappointing if the sound remained the same even after combining it into Mod.2.
Therefore, we have created a mechanism that automatically switches the sound when the two are combined.
It is designed to allow you to enjoy the dialogue and attack sounds for Mod.2, including the attack sounds from the cannons on both shoulders.
(So, actually, there are only 17 types of audio recorded, not all of them, there are actually more... sorry for keeping quiet!)
There are still many more secrets hidden in the connection with the Mod.2 unit, so we will reveal more about that at a later date.
