Today we will be reviewing the "ULTRA REPLICA Aggreter 25th Anniversary ver." just before the pre-order deadline!



"Aggreator" is a product commemorating TDG's 25th anniversary.

As development progresses, we now have more to share.
Taking into account the development concept, we will introduce various topics such as prototype images and sound gimmicks!

<About the development concept>
Above all, the appearance specifications.
We made repeated considerations of the structure, prioritizing the reproduction of the appearance, including making it thinner through a completely new design and revising the belt.

Speaking of the Aggreator, it is depicted in the play as a very slim transformation item,
The shape is extremely difficult to make into a toy.
I believe that this is what gives it its unique atmosphere and makes it so appealing as a three-dimensional object.


The concept under these conditions is "appearance comes first."

Even when deciding on the finer details such as the movable transformation gimmick, sound gimmick, light-up gimmick, etc., we prioritized the appearance first and began development with the aim of recreating the prop.

■Appearance: Aggreter main body
First, the most difficult part is the thickness.
When we started development, we realized that if we aimed to pack in all the gimmicks and improve functionality, it would be extremely difficult to reduce the space required from the previous ULTRA REPLICA.
However, in order to stick to the concept, we initially considered making the wing deployment and even the rotation gimmick "fully manual," without using springs.

This is where we bring in our designers who are adept at incorporating mechanisms into small spaces, such as with the "ULTRA REPLICA Ultraseven 55th Anniversary Set" and "ULTRA REPLICA Flash Prism."

By changing the switch position and the internal structure significantly from the previous product, we were able to achieve a much thinner prop size, surface area, etc.


It feels this size even when held in your hand.
You can hold it in your hand with an image that is close to what you see in the movie.

The bottom of the light-emitting part is the wing opening/closing button and the transformation sound button.
By pressing it, the wings will spring out and the transformation sound will be activated!
It is easier to operate than the previous product.


■Appearance: Belt
For the strap, we sought specifications that would meet strict standards while still ensuring an acceptable appearance, and ultimately adopted a design similar to the Ultra Zero Bracelet and Ultimate Bracelet from ULTRA REPLICA series.


Because the bracelet is made of ABS material, it does not have as much flexibility in terms of arm size as the soft PVC or nylon straps used in bracelet products.
Instead, it has a high quality texture and can be used as both a decoration or for wearing.


When worn on the arm it looks like this:
I am small in stature so I can wear it without any extension parts.

The arm circumference is 163mm, so there is a little room, but it still allows you to recreate the transformation motion without any problems!




■ Audio gimmick
The audio specifications are based on the "ULTRA REPLICA Replica Esplendor 25th Anniversary ver."​

In addition to the ability to turn the "Agrul!" transformation call on and off, it also includes memorable sound effects from the movie, such as "the sound of the sea standing still" and "the sound of birds standing still" when V2 transforms for the first time!

The number of voice-activated buttons has been increased from the previous product, and the transformation sound can be activated by pressing the wing deployment button.
You can activate sound effects and background music using two types of sound buttons.

There's a huge increase in the number of tracks included compared to previous products, and the BGM reservation function is still included!

This time we are introducing the background music that will be included in "ULTRA REPLICA Aggreter 25th Anniversary ver."!

This volume includes all the BGM that is inseparable from Aggreator, such as "Agul's Resurrection ~ Agul Version Up~" when V2 first transforms, as well as "Agul's Descendance" and "Agul's Battle" when he first appears and fights!
 
Putting on the Aggreator and standing there with a suspicious expression, he looks just like Fujimiya!
(I feel like playing "Fujimiya and Gamu" and "Agony".)

 

In addition, the built-in audio is currently being adjusted in preparation for recording, so it will be further enhanced.

The "ULTRA REPLICA Aggreter 25th Anniversary ver." is packed with sound gimmicks.
We will continue to develop this product to create a worthy commemorative product for our 25th anniversary.
