Ultraman toy development team will now be sharing details about the ULTRA REPLICA Bright Stick, which is available for pre-order starting today, including some product specifications that could not be fully disclosed on the pre-order page.


<Appearance>
Ultraman 80 was made about 39 years ago, and the Bright Stick is a completely different size and design from the toy and prop that was released at the time. This time, we designed it from scratch, using the prop as reference, reproducing the subtle curves and fine recessed lines, and paying particular attention to the manufacturing method, such as hiding the screws and using ultrasonic bonding.
The color is also unique; although it looks white, it has a hint of ivory and the red is actually a slight vermilion color, which was reproduced based on a prop.

How to play
First, let's look at two ways to play in "normal mode."​
■Transformation play...When you press the transformation button, the tip will extend vigorously and light will come on and the transformation sound will be activated.
■Play with BGM...When you press the BGM button with the tip retracted, the BGM "Here Comes Ultraman 80" will play.

Next, we'll play in "BGM mode." This mode allows you to recreate the transformation scene just like in the movie.
Press and hold the BGM button while the tip is retracted to switch modes.



After switching modes, if you press the BGM button, you will hear the memorable sound effect of "Sha! Sha!", the sound of wind cutting through the air seen when Takeshi Yateki performs a karate-like movement just before he transforms in the movie, and then you will hear Yateki's line, "Eighty!!"
Immediately afterwards, press the transformation button to extend the tip, the sound of the transformation will occur, light will shine and the background music "Here comes Ultraman 80!" will automatically play.
In this way, you can recreate the entire transformation scene from the movie.

<About accessories>
The attachment parts come with two ring colors, silver and blue, and by switching them out you can recreate the two designs used in the movie.
There is a section on the underside of the base on which the Bright Stick rests where you can insert the attachment part that you are not using, making it easy to store.

After a long time, the BrightStick is finally here in its complete form.
Reservations for the ULTRA REPLICA Bright Stick will be accepted until 11pm on Monday, August 26th!
