Ultraman Toy Blog vol.36 "I played with Ultra Action Figures."
Hello! I'm Nono, in charge of Ultraman toy development.
This time, we will feature the "Ultra Action Figure" series, which we have not covered much until now.
This series has been popular for many years thanks to its affordable price of 2,000 yen (excluding tax) and its specifications as an action figure with 18 movable parts.
Recently, non-Ultra Heroes such as "Jugglus Juggler" have been added to the lineup, making this a popular series!
We have already released the "Multi Type" from "Ultraman Trigger",
This weekend on the 24th (Sat), the "Power Type" and "Sky Type" will finally join the group!
So... I was a little unsure how to introduce it, but since it's an "action figure," I decided to change things up a bit and introduce it in a way that's different from usual.
We hope to convey the appeal of our products by showing people having fun playing with the soft vinyl figures!
Let's get started right away!
BOOM!!!
The vampire monster Gimira appears in a peaceful town!
Ah! There's Golbar over there!
Land-dwelling Gobira... and even Okagobira have appeared! The city is in danger!!
…And then, someone appeared at that moment!!
Build the future! (Even the protectors on the feet are painted in different colors!)
A ray of hope! (The details of the ancient patterns were recreated to the fullest extent possible after studying actual suits!)
Ultraman Trigger Multi-Type!! (The head is even fully painted!)
Fight! Ultraman Trigger!!
With a dashing fighting pose...
He keeps Gimira in check with a graceful kick! (His joints are sturdy, so he can even stand on one leg!)
I thought the 2 against 1 ratio would be no big deal... or so I thought...! (The size of the soft vinyl figures is just right!)
He was knocked down by Okagubira's charge! (Actually, we recently improved the range of motion of the neck, so it's now easier to express the poses!)
If that happens...it's time to change types!
Trigger's body glowed red, and what appeared was...
Grab the victory! (The black on the thighs is a low-gloss paint, which contrasts well with the silver!)
A light of strength!! (Even the distinctive pectoral muscles are recreated from the original body!)
Ultraman Trigger! (Of course the head is fully painted!)
Power type!!
His whole body transforms into something massive, and with his super power he bites Gubila in the eye!
Lifting is no problem!!! (I'm proud of the stability of my legs and hips!)
The other Gimira was also knocked out with one powerful punch!
...and then, Golber suddenly attacks from the sky!
To fight against an agile monster...you have to become agile yourself!!
Soar through the sky! (Even the silver edges of the protector are painted in detail!)
High-speed light!! (The light blue accent color really stands out!)
Ultraman Trigger! (The Sky Type requires an incredible amount of painting work...!)
Sky type!! (Of course, the body has been newly sculpted to recreate the slender figure!)
He toyed with his enemies with his light and nimble movements! (This level of strength without any supports or synthesis!)
Defeat Golbar with an acrobatic move!
Finish him off with Lambalt's light bullet!!
...So, I've been playing around with it and introducing the Ultraman Trigger "Ultra Action Figure."
In order to reproduce the different styling of each of the three types, each figure has been completely remodeled.
The lower body, which at first glance appears to be the same, has subtle differences, with the Sky Type being slimmer and the Power Type being slightly more muscular.
Thanks to the attention to detail of developer Gussy, there are more painted areas than usual, making this a very cost-effective item for a figure that you can easily purchase, so we hope you will get your hands on it and play with it!!
